philfrey08:You have just prayed a miss! God doesn't answer such prayers, he won't be mocked. He understands my right to vote whoever I want. The way you Christians behave these days especially on social media is really unfortunate. That was how one pastor was telling me that Buhari was suppose to die on sick bed and I was like seriously? Such statement coming out from the mouth of a supposed pastor? May God have mercy on you. |
Haymaykar:Go back and read the write up again. |
nkwuocha:This is the problem I have with Atiku looters. What is wrong in importing plant and machinery from China ![]() We wouldn't have substandard China products in our homes if Awon omo Igbos don't go to China to request for substandard production of household items from China. One of the things we are criticizing Obi for is that he should stop comparing our economy with China's if we cannot fight corruption like China does. Stop acting like a kid insulting everyone on nairaland, every little success is worth celebrating and this is not an exception. |
Engine pix?? Any issue with the car? |
IloveToMess:Cancel my quotes all you want. The message have been passed. It is now left for you to respect yourself. |
IloveToMess:How about how you have been jumping on threads that supports Buhari ![]() The last time I checked, manufacturing fake news, photoshoped graphics here and there all against the ruling government was the grand plan from Dubai to deceive people against Buhari in other to garner votes for Atiku. Abi have you forgotten the doctored documents your people posted everywhere on the internet showing that Buhari had died and that the queen of England attended his funeral ![]() PDP did worst things on AIT back then in 2015 to the extent they even accused Buhari of murdering his own daughter that died just to discredit him and to garner votes for the Jonathan?? Please stop insulting Buhari supporters, the fact that they are on the other side of the divide and done share the same ideology with you and your party does not warrant insult. After all, we are all after Nigeria's development irrespective of whichever political we belong to. |
ifyalways:See the corruption we are talking about, we all know what you mean by hook or crook, later y'all would be shouting to high heavens and to international community accusing the ruling government of rigging. |

reuben79:What is the guarantee that when political crime commission is created, the executive would not use it as a tool to fight opposition ![]() Who would appoint the head of the commission? Whoever is saddled with the responsibility of appointing its head be it executive, legislature, et al would want to use it to witch hunt the opposition, that is the Nigerian way. We already have EFCC, ICPC, CCB, CCT, When the opposition succeed and take power back from the current government, they too should use it to chase corrupt opposition members, Nigeria would win that way. |
Obasanjo, Jonathan, and Buhari all deserve credit for the project. Buhari deserve even more credit for having the balls to implement and ensure the project is completed. We know how to initiate good policies but implementation has been our biggest problem in this country and now that Buhari promised and deliver the project, the opposition wants to take the shine away from current government. I guess the PDP are pained because this project completion will definitely win many votes for the APC hence their trying to lay claim on the project. |
reuben79:How does electoral bill put food on the table? We don't need peace cops, would peace corps bring peace to book haram ravaged communities? Political crime commission bill would add to an already over bloated civil service. |
Check the source! Fake news. |
So the name Harcourt was a name of a rapist No wonder promiscuity is prevalent over here. |
I believe Innoson assemble cars and not into full scale manufacturing. The car company you mentioned initially build their cars themselves before they started outsourcing the production of various parts to different automobile companies around the world. So it will not be correct to say that Innoson manufacture cars by importing car parts from China, and I guess its the reason why most of his cars are expensive. Perhaps, when Ajaokuta Steel becomes operational, we can begin to see made in Nigeria cars for real. |
hahn:He invented ATM Machine. He brought out money out of a fish, that was the first Automated Teller Machine. |
He is wrong. Its the words there in that matters. |
capitalzero:The independence of the Judiciary is only theoretical! They are not practically independent because it is the President who appoints a CJN through the recommendations of NJC. The president can decide to discard NJC's recommendations and appoint another as in the case of Justice Ayo Salami where Jonathan discarded the NJC recommendations for his to be reinstated but instead appointed Justice Adamu Adamu. Another example is Amaechi's refusal to appoint a state judge recommended by NJC in favour of another, that led to closure of the courts in Rivers State then. I hope they win sha |
sweetrace: As per the news being fake or not, why do they want to impeach him when his tenor is rounding up? Why now? Exactly why do they want him out of the way? If Ambode should tell come out and make an announcement, he'll just be called a sour loser. From your reply, it is obvious you don't have proof. I am not in support of Ambode being impeached but there are other reasons why they may want to impeach him aside from the N100B story. Perhaps, they may be demanding some amout of money from the executive, but to say it is N100b is pure exergeration. There is the issue delayed budget presentation, and it could be that he wants them to pay for the humiliation he suffered at their hands, and for denying him the ticket for second term. |
sweetrace:Do you have proof of what you are saying? There is no way Lagos APC would be demanding N100 billion for political campaign, come on that's almost the whole of IGR in the state for one month. If it is not fake news, let Ambode come out and tell us how much they are demanding for elections or better still, let the CSOs approach EFCC, ICPC, or the court to expose them. |
shevchenko:IPOB wailer spotted!!!

Emilo:Stop vouching for what you don't know if you do not have evidence to back up your claim that he is being charged because he wasn't with the APC. He wasn't going to share those thousand of dollars, pounds, and Euros found in his accounts with you for vouching for him ignorantly. The moment he began to dine and with PDP, he should have covered his own trail, or better still shut his mouth instead of coming out to spew gibberish that he "forgot" to declare his remaining assets. Forget international community, they are just being hypocritical. They wouldn't even allow such in their own country. When Obasanjo created EFCC, how many of the opposition did he removed via due process? Did Jonathan followed due process when Sanusi Lamido was suspended? The Nigeria we are in now, virtually everybody cut corners to advance their interest including you whether you accept it or not, but the thing is while you are at it, don't get caught. Onoghen shot himself in the foot by admitting. The various loopholes in our constitution is another problem, because the onoghen camps are right to say that Buhari didn't follow due process by snubbing the NJC act. On the other hand, the President is backed by law too, because the word " suspension" is not also captured in the NJC process of handling misconduct of judicial officers, and the Interpretation Act give him the right to do so. It is high time our corrupt National Assembly members lived up to their responsibilies by looking at the constitution with a view to correcting these loopholes by way of amendment. |
ajepako:LOL |
Emilo:So if supposing the CJN was involved in an armed robbery case like Saraki with the offa robbery, and several Nigerians killed in the process, we should leave him to continue to preside on cases as CJN just because the timing is wrong ? Reason with your brain now, there is a reason your brain was given to you in the first place. |
GlorifiedTunde:May the Almighty God bless you beyond measure. I am also a Christian, but I have just read a brilliant piece by the professor. They are pigs! So I am not surprised. |
They should kuku shut down courts for the whole year! 2 days? Imagine..... Upon all the gra gra they made about this case. SMH Buhari has won, and this further confirms the fact that the Nigerian President is one of the most powerful presidents in Africa. |
