Wike performed woefully and failed to exceed the development standards set by amaechi when he was governor of rivers state.

By Referendum
By Naturalization

Etc.

And the constitution says it is only those who are Nigerians by birth that can contest for presidency in Nigeria. The crux of the matter is that Atiku is not a Nigerian by birth.

So it is not out of place for him to appologize and seek naturalization.

Stop comparing Atiku with Obama, Nigeria is not as liberal as the united States. The Nigerian Constitution says only a Nigerian by birth is allowed to contest elections in Nigeria.

The fact that he was the former VP does not excuse what that section of the constitution says.

If the presidency is coming to the south in 2023 then it should be the turn of south east zone to get the slot if really we are preaching about equity and Fairness.

It is not fairness to give presidency to Southeast, they never supported a northern President in 2015 and 2019, they can't reap where they didn't sow.

They cursed all other tribes since 2015 especially Yoruba's for their loyalty to the North and now that their loyalty is about to pay off, they are hoping and praying that the North should retain power in 2023.

Until the southeasterners learn how to play politics intelligently, they may not get presidency for many years to come.
