Christianity Etc › We Need True Peace For Prosperity To Thrive by Interesting15(op): 6:45am On Nov 01, 2020
There are tons of unpleasant things currently happening in our society, and even beyond our own territory. Nevertheless, in the midst of the pain, sorrows and uncertainties, the Word of God keeps reminding us of God's pleasant thoughts toward us:

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord , thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."(Jeremiah 29:11)

So God is eager to feed us with true and pleasant peace, both as a society and individually. Truthfully, we can only get true peace when we turn to God and allow Him have His way.

This however requires true humility. God said:

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."(II Chronicles 7:14)

For prosperity to thrive, we need peace. Unfortunately, doing things contrary to God's Will would only keep corrupting the land, and the repercussions will always be unpleasant.

Hence, we must repent of our evil ways and surrender to God completely. The first step is to embrace the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Just call upon the Name of Jesus anywhere you are, and you shall be saved. Then try to introduce others to Christ too.

To experience the peace that will usher in an enhanced level of prosperity, we must quit our wrongdoings and forsake anything sinful. Do away with immoralities, shedding of blood, alcoholism, injustice, corruption, etc. These things only give the devil access to plunder us - both as individuals and as a society.

Jesus Christ promised to give us true rest if we can come to Him. Imagine how beautiful our society would be if everyone is faithfully living according to the precept of God. This is a good reason we Christians should intensify our evangelistic efforts, so the Kingdom of God will be established in all facet and sector, and more people will come into the Light of Christ.

Christianity Etc › The Prophecy Of The Man Of God Came To Pass by Interesting15(op): 6:49am On Oct 11, 2020
We saw something superb in the book of 2 Kings chapter 23 and verse 16. Many years before that incident, a Man of God had given a prophecy (which can be found in 1 Kings 13). And as the years rolled by and by, when it seemed everything will simply keep on remaining the same way they had always been, the prophecy of the Man of God came to pass!

"As Josiah turned, he saw the tombs that were there on the mountain. And he sent and took the bones out of the tombs and burned them on the altar, and defiled it according to the word of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words" (2 Kings 23:16)

See! After so many years, the prophecy came to pass!

I don't know what God has been saying about you and the pleasant promises He has given you through His Word, through visions and dreams, through His servants, etc. Perhaps you are now losing heart because these promises are yet to come into manifestation. Be encouraged! In Jesus Name, the prophecy will soon come to pass! God's pleasant promises over you will soon come into fulfilment! Keep trusting God and don't compromise!

This is also very important. When Jesus Christ was on His ministerial assignments on earth hundreds of years ago, He gave several prophecies pointing to the Rapture. Some of the prophecies have already experienced fulfilment, which is an assurance that His word is True, and should be taken with utmost importance. It mean the prophecy about the rapture and the end of the ages, will soon come to pass!

The rapture is a divine transportation of the saints into the presence of Jesus in the skies. You can't afford to miss the rapture! Those left behind would be subjected to grievous pain and torments. For we that will be with Jesus up there, we will enjoy bliss forever more, and will be adorned with pleasant rewards.

Hence, to join the rapturable train, you must make Jesus Christ your LORD and Savior, and start an intimate relationship with God. You must separate yourself from sin and anything that defiles. Simply open your heart and say, "LORD Jesus, come into my life"

If the prophecy of the Man of God could come to pass after so many years, then the prophecy of Jesus Christ (the Son of Man and KING of kings) will surely come to pass one of these days. Be ready.

Christianity Etc › Wearing Seductive Clothes To Deposit Lust In The Heart Of Others by Interesting15(op): 6:27am On Sep 27, 2020
by Sunday Akanni Moshood

The task of a seducer/seductress is to lure ignorant individuals into immorality. Then they become a prey to the devil, whose major aim/task is to "steal, kill and destroy" (John 10:10).

From ancient times, immoral folks are vividly aware of the negative potency of lust. They understood the business of planting lust in people's heart via seductive dressings. King Solomon, describing a seductress in Proverbs 7:10 said the woman was with (wearing) "the attire of a harlot". That is referring to an immoral dressing style.

Today, there is an increase in immoral dressing. You see individuals boldly appearing half-naked, in clothes exposing parts of their bodies that should be kept private from public eyes. They intentionally wear provocative clothes, and you see them everywhere.

While ignorant folks will simply refer to these immoral trends and cultures as "modern fashion", we must realize that there is actually a dangerous motive behind the perverted culture of dressing immorally.

Let me explain that there are many persons out there who are directly working for the devil. These persons will appear as ordinary humans, living with us, but they are actually witches and wizards, possessed with demonic spirits, belonging to the evil marine kingdom. They appear innocent and harmless, and they appear sweetly. But they are evil. Inwardly, they are dark and dangerous. They intentionally draw people away with lust through the way they dress, then it becomes easy for their preys to fall into sexual sins (which then gives their master the devil a chance to ruthlessly plunder such a life).

There are some others who are indirectly working for the devil. These ones are simply living a lifestyle that is being utilised by the devil. Their lifestyle is unknowingly influenced by demons to sow the seed of lust in the hearts of people via their seductive dressings.

So, when you see people who dress seductively, they fall into any of the above categories, and the motive is to sow seeds of lust into the hearts of unsuspecting people. These seeds will start growing in different forms, until you find yourself indulging in immoral activities.

Therefore, to avoid falling into the trap you must be wise. You can get the right wisdom from God, through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Hence, you must first make Jesus your LORD and SAVIOR. Simply call upon His Name wherever you are, and He will come into your life.

Wisdom demands that you should be wary of people who dress seductively and immorally. Be wary of movies, websites, books and magazines where you consistently see people that are badly dressed. The lust they deposit in your heart can ruin you after some time. Hence, always partner with the Holy Spirit (through prayers, studying the Bible, fasting, etc) to cleanse your heart daily and uproot any seed of lust deposited into your heart.

These words are true. This world is deeper than the superficial appearance you know. God give you understanding in Jesus Name Amen.

Speak for yourself not others.

Your natural sexual urge might be below normal.
We have married people who don't like sexx as well.

There's nothing like control when sexual urge is involved. Do you think sexx addiction is popular by chance?

There is nothing immoral about sex, it's just like every other activities we engage in such eating, sleeping..., which can be abused.
I know myself. And I know the sexual monster I will likely have become (as a result of my sexual urges) if I didn't had an encounter with Jesus Christ very early in life

Gaze at life (as well as the concept of sex and sexuality) with a pure heart, and it will be glaring that sex is no ordinary activity, and that sex is spiritual.

I rarely quote people here. But what I want you to know (as well as others) is that there are many young folks out there with healthy sexual urges, who have been able to learn to tame their desires, and have full control over themselves, as a result of their partnership with the Holy Spirit.

God bless you my brother.

The problem starts when we see sex as a bad thing.

Youths are supposed to be active sexually, it's just biology.

It's just like aging, you can't stop, so stop trying to stop it.
Premarital sex is a bad thing.
Come on, there are several young folks like me who are living a very happy lifestyle and not indulging in immoral acts. I sincerely can't relate with all these vehement struggles with sexual addictions, despite being a young guy with healthy sexual urges.

So it's possible to have control over yourself as a young person. To go far in life, you must have control over your own self.

Afterthought 4

We were told that many humans on their death-bed are usually displeased with how they lived their lives, and they always wish they could turn back the hands of time. Wisdom demands that we learn from those that have gone ahead of us, and strive to avoid making the mistakes they made. Many of our predecessors failed to live a significant life, as they naively devoted their lives to mundane temporal things and pleasures. Don't make such mistake. Live your life with eternity in view, and you should be encouraged to focus on permanence.

Afterthought 3

In John 11:25 and 26, Jesus said:
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die."

So we understand that anybody who died in Christ will eventually find themselves in the presence of God in Heaven. They will remain connected to God, the Source of Life, and will enjoy His Life forever. On the contrary, those that died without Christ will find themselves being eternally separated from God. Hence, this category of people will remain conscious of their situation in an eternal state of torment (after leaving this earth when they die), and they remain rightly deemed "dead", because they are separated from God the Source of Life, forever.

Many people already agreed they will die one day, thus, decided to "enjoy life" (I.e indulging in sinful pleasures) before death. As I've explained up there, any "enjoyment" contrary to the Will of God is not only sinful, but poisonous (and will kill before one's time). There are several noble ways we can enjoy with ourselves and loved ones without committing a sin.

Although death is unpleasant, it remains inevitable. As long as this cycle of season remains, everyone will leave the earth someday, one after the other. Hence, rather than shying away from the discourse of death, you can utilize its reality (the fact that you will likely die one day) to become a much better person here on earth, and earn yourself a ticket to an afterlife of bliss.

In this short article, let's explore five important things that should be done before leaving the earth:

1. Live Life

You are not living life if you don't know the purpose of life. Unfortunately, a lot of people are simply living without direction (simply living 'anyhow'). There's a difference between breathing and living. Many people are only wasting their breathe, as they are merely earth wanderers, living for nothing significant. That's why, at the point of death, many realised they didn't really live a significant life, and usually wish they can turn back the hands of time.

Before you die, ensure you live life. You are living life when you are living a life of significance, which is possible when you live a purposeful life. Know your purpose, know why God created you, and occupy yourself with your purpose. That's how to live life indeed, and not just banking on your earthly accomplishments (which will eventually pass away).

2. Enjoy Life

The original intention of God is that humans should enjoy all He created on earth. Since Heaven is a Citadel of bliss and pleasure that knows no suffering, God desire extending this reality to earth. Unfortunately, sin and the devil keeps disrupting this. However, God sent Jesus to make things right again - and we can now know how to live and enjoy life according to His Will.

Unfortunately, many people are still regarding sinful ventures as "enjoyment". Many humans thought they are enjoying life when they indulge in alcoholism, immoral sexual activities, clubbing, and so on. Unfortunately, these things are poisonous, and they cut the life short, preventing you from enjoying life indeed. Listen, any act of pleasure that is contrary to God's Will is not only sinful, but poisonous. There are tons of noble pleasurable activities you can enjoy with yourself, your family, and your loved ones. Enjoy such things before you die.

3. Dominate Life

The Will of God is that you should have dominion over everything He has created. You are meant to be in charge, and not become a slave to anything negative (including sin, satan, poverty, sickness, curse, hell, death, fear, etc). This can only be enabled with an intimate relationship with God, through Jesus Christ the Lord.

4. Impact Life

There was a man called Methuselah who lived for 969 years. Unfortunately, there's nothing significant attributed to him. But Jesus Christ lived on earth in human flesh, for just 33 years, and till forever, He will be celebrated. Before you die, ensure you impact the world positively, irrespective of your field and passion. Contribute to earth's pleasantness. Rise and start doing great things.

5. Be Sure Of Your Afterlife

Perhaps the most important on the list. When we close our eyes and leave this world, there is an afterlife we will find ourselves. While our current world is limited and short, this afterlife is eternal and everlasting. Interestingly, what will determine where and how you will spend the afterlife is how you lived here on earth. In the afterlife, everyone will be judged by God for the things we did on earth. While some will be embraced into Heaven (a place of eternal peace and comfort), some will be banished to hell fire (a place of eternal torment).

Hence, the best thing you can do for yourself is to start preparing for the afterlife before you die. How can you adequately prepare? Simple. Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and forsake your sins! Start serving Him in spirit and in truth, and ignore the sinful distractions of this world. When you do this, you won't be scared of death, but will regard death as a vehicle that will transport you to the presence of God your Father in Heaven

It is well with you in Jesus Name Amen

Christianity Etc › Don't Settle For Less; Don't Live A Life Of Mediocrity by Interesting15(op): 6:28am On Sep 06, 2020
The Will of God for you is that you should have and maintain an intimate and eternal relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, which then get you empowered to have dominion over everything He created.

It is an aberration to be under the yoke of anything negative. You are meant to be a king and a priest to God, and should rule your world. God is Benevolent, and is ready to release unto you all that is needed to live a life of true royalty.

Don't settle for less, don't embrace a life of mediocrity. Don't allow the devil rule you. Don't allow your flesh and desires rule you. You are meant to have dominion over money, and not the other way round. You are meant to be in charge of your health and shouldn't be tortured by sickness. You are meant to command demons and get curses flee in fear, even at the sound of your voice. It is an error to be tormented by negative addictions (be it drug addiction, porn and masturbation addiction, illicit sex, telling lies, etc). You are meant to tame your body and should live above sin and lust.

Don't settle for less, don't embrace a life of mediocrity. Listen, Anything other than God's will for your life is mediocrity. If you choose a man/woman contrary to the Will of God for you, you have simply settled for less (irrespective of how beautiful or handsome the person is)! If you make a decision contrary to God's Will for you, irrespective of how lucrative it might be, you have actually opted for mediocrity.

If you continue in sin and iniquities, you have settled for less, and won't be able to maximize your full potentials on earth. Unfortunately, many people are still in this category, and you reading this might be one of them.

If you are yet to FULLY surrender your life to Jesus Christ, it means where you are in life currently is not God's perfect Will for you. You must then make the decision to embrace Jesus genuinely and start a relationship with Him in spirit and in truth. God wants an intimate relationship with you, and not religion.

Simply call upon the name of Jesus anywhere you are, embrace Him as your LORD and SAVIOR, and ask Him to help you serve Him in spirit and in truth.

A deep question.. I know right grin

Let me briefly tell you mine first. cool

So, I made the decision that changed my life years back, when I was a very young teenager. The decision is to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and agree to serve God wholeheartedly in spirit and in truth. cool

You know, it is normal that when young people are approaching the adolescent period of life, they will start contemplating on what identity to opt for, and they usually look up to the society. Personally, I grew up in an environment that encourage young chaps to live an immoral life (as this is portrayed as a "normal thing"wink. So, as a young teenager then, seeing my childhood friends aligning with the immoral way of the street, a part of me wanted to join the party. But Jesus Christ came to me, and offered me much better package. He gave me His Word: "Follow me, and I will.....". Guess what? I embraced His offer!

That decision made life easier for me, and I was exempted from several problems and struggles many young people face (which was due to wrong decisions they keep making). Talk about He helping me discover my talents early enough, and my talents were already making impact in other continents, despite being a young guy growing in a society with limited opportunities. Talk about He helping me grow in self confidence (that emboldened me to ignore and stand out from the crowd), self control (which explains why I can still boast of being a virgin till this moment, in my mid twenties), etc..

Lols.. One day, I should write a book about my life..

Now, enough of me. Tell us, What's The Decision That Changed Your Life? Yours don't have to be similar to mine. Just express yourself.. kiss
Christianity Etc › Re: The World's Pain Is Coming To An End Soon by Interesting15(op):
For a deeper understanding, you can check this article I published on nairaland back in 2017 >> https://www.nairaland.com/4211840/difference-rapture-second-coming

Difference Between The Rapture And The Second Coming

Many Christians are yet to have an appropriate knowledge about the Rapture and The Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and there are some Christians who are even thinking they are the same.

First of all, we need to know that The Rapture and The Second Coming are two different events that will happen at different times.

The Rapture (from the Latin verb 'rapere', which means 'to transport from one place to another') is the catching up of all believers for a glorious meeting with Christ in the air.

"Behold I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed - in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." (1 Corinthians 15:51-53).

Also see 1 Thessalonians chapter 4: 15-17

So, The Rapture comes first, and is an event whereby the Lord Jesus comes for His Saints (dead and living), and we shall meet Him in the air.

The Saints are those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives and are living in holiness. The Saints are those that are living a CONSISTENT holy and godly lifestyle, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. They are the ones who will be transformed to meet Jesus in the air, while unbelievers and lukewarm Christians will be left behind.

Now, after the rapture, the Saints will proceed into the sky to participate in the marriage feast of the Lamb, where rewards would be given to everyone present according to his/her deeds on earth.

What Happens To Those Left Behind?

Immediately after the rapture, the Great Tribulation will begin, and the Antichrist will be given power to torment those left behind. The Antichrist will force people to receive the mark of the beast (666) either on their forehead or arm.

Those that won't receive it would be vehemently tormented: They won't be able to buy and sell, they will suffer violent persecutions with no one to help. And according to the graphic illustration given by the Lord Jesus about the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-28), many won't be able to withstand the torments for long (that is, they can't help but to receive the mark of the beast)

BUT: THOSE THAT WILL RECEIVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST WILL BE ETERNALLY DAMNED IN THE LAKE OF FIRE AT THE APPOINTED TIME.

Don't forget that while the tribulation is taking place on earth, the Saints that have been raptured are with Jesus Christ in the sky enjoying the marriage supper as well as their rewards.

THEN: At the end of the marriage supper in the sky and the Tribulation on earth, THE SECOND COMING will take place.

The Second Coming is the public revelation of Jesus Christ, when He comes WITH HIS SAINTS (those who have been previously raptured and have participated in the marriage supper in the sky) to set up the Millennium (see 1 Thessalonians 3:13 and Matthew 24: 29-31)

Here, those who have suffered just because they won't take the mark of the beast during the Great Tribulation, will now have a new hope.

My Advice:

Jesus said the day and hour of these events are not known, but will happen anytime, and it will come like a thief in the night. He gave us some signs we should watch out for, and if you look at the scriptures, you will see the signs keeps coming to pass (Please see Mark 13:

That means, if Jesus Christ can predict those things and TRUELY, they keeps coming to pass, then His promise of the rapture and second coming will also come to pass!

So, if you are yet to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please do so now, as tommorow might be too late.

And for we that are already Christians, let us allow the belief that Jesus will return one day, to guide us within godly conducts.

How sure are you that you can withstand the torment of the Antichrist during the great tribulation? The best thing for you is to live a lifestyle of holiness that will make you rapturable with Jesus Christ, and go on with Him to enjoy the marriage supper.

The Lord asked me to tell you this:

"I stand at the door, I cometh, I cometh" Thus saith the Lord Of Host!
Christianity Etc › The World's Pain Is Coming To An End Soon by Interesting15(op): 6:29am On Aug 23, 2020
The intense pain of the world is an indication that the womb of the heavens is pregnant with something spectacular that will imprint true smile on the faces of the people residing in the earth.

God is very much aware of the unpleasant things going on in the world (brought about by sin and disobedience to His loving instructions). In spite of it all, in spite of the rise of sin and sinners with their wicked and evil works, God won't stop loving the earth He created, and He remain eager to install true peace and pleasantness in the earth realm.

God is raising people (His own sons and daughters) from the nations of the world, and He is molding them into divine solution-carriers which He will use to solve some of the myriad of problems the world is facing - talk about poverty, sickness, bad governance, untimely death, unemployment, all manner of negative addictions, and so on. These sons and daughters of YAHWEH (who must have made the genuine decision to surrender their totality to GOD), will be placed in strategic positions, sectors and industries. They will be duly empowered by God, will start operating in an enhanced level of power and intelligence, and their activities and efforts will lessen the pains of the world to an extent - with the aim of bringing more people into the kingdom of God.

However, the ultimate and perfect solution to the world's problems will be experienced when Jesus Christ returns with His Saints, to establish His utopian rule on earth. Until the perfect God will return to establish His perfect Kingdom here, the earth will continue to experience unpleasantness and pain - since it is currently controlled by imperfect and fallen humans.

You should note that before Jesus Christ will return to establish His reign on earth for a season, the Rapture will first take place. The rapture is the next big event that will transport genuine and true children of God (both dead and living) to the presence of Christ in the skies, where we will, among other superb things, participate in a feast known as the Marriage Feast of the Lamb.

Nevertheless, immediately after the rapture, the Great Tribulation will begin, and the Antichrist will be given power to torment those left behind. The Antichrist will force people to receive the mark of the beast (666) either on their forehead or arm. Those that won't receive it would be vehemently tormented: They won't be able to buy and sell, they will suffer violent persecutions with no one to help. And according to the graphic illustration given by the Lord Jesus about the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-28), many won't be able to withstand the torments for long (that is, they can't help but to receive the mark of the beast) BUT: THOSE THAT WILL RECEIVE THE MARK OF THE BEAST WILL BE ETERNALLY DAMNED IN THE LAKE OF FIRE AT THE APPOINTED TIME.

Hence, wisdom demands that everyone of us should understand the signs and know that this is the time to get closer to God and establish a true and sincere individual relationship with Him. This is the time to forsake our sinful ways and start serving God in spirit and in truth. This is the time to embrace the Lordship of Christ, and make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.

If you are yet to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, simply do so now. Call upon His Name wherever you are, ask Him to come into Your life, and you will be saved! You will be happier if you forsake your current sinful lifestyle, as your holy relationship with God (your Creator) will empower you to have dominion over everything He has created (which is the Will of God for you).

You only start living and enjoying life only after you make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.
