6days to me, after it was picked up by DHL
Luckily I didn't pay any custom duty.

But some other unlucky persons paid bout N23k custom duty fee for the RN9 Pro.

I am asking because items I ordered since Feb. Has not gotten to Lagos and when I called the PO dey said items are not yet in the office.

ordered 6th of March... Ikoyi Post office, Lagos...

Just collected my item from the post office yesterday... I saw delivery failed and no call... Went there and they checked and gave me...

In the North they don't ask for ID in most cases... Those that have received items in the North like Kano will confirm

How is that possible? All registered packages have to be signed out and the claimant has to submit a copy of a valid ID.

For an impostor to receive your package, he has to:
1. Know your phone number as is written on the package
2. Know the name as is written on the package
3. Know the final destination Post Office of pickup.

Only a PO staff has access to this information and only a PO staff could have moved your package. You should have requested to see proof of pickup and probably escalate the matter if you smelt a rat.

Actually I think the person that received the item knew I was expecting it and also knows my phone number... I call everybody possible... I even called Lagos for help cos that time I was in Adamawa State... I was only moving in circles... They showed the signature of the recipient and I couldn't recognize the hand writing... Remember it is not a private shipping company that delivered my percel that I can voice out my complain and be heard...

this is very correct! I have been shopping on Aliexpress since 2018 and I've never had problems receiving my items.
In fact, the longest delivery I have ever experienced was a month and half which the parcel later came.

But on December 10th, I made this order on Aliexpress, Redmi 8a, from Xiaomi official store. I waited for over 60 days and the order was still in transit.

I checked Nigerian customers feedback to the store and I realized that from mid last year, they all have positive review of their order arriving on time; but late last year review showed random review of order not arrived.
It was the most frustrating experience I had on Aliexpress after I ended up in the category if 'not recieved' reviewers

After the experience, to even make another other was really hard for me

I bought 4 phones and a watch non came except the watch... I got my refund in December

Guys I have little tips for y'ol as some body that has bought over 300+ items from Aliexpress and has been shopping there since 2015...
1. Customs fee: In your order message tell seller to declare item as gift or tell him to put a very low price on the package like under 30usd because anything that costs above 100+usd will attract their fee... Although somebody told me that they've reduced it to 50+usd...
2. Shipping delay: Aliexpress Standard shipping/Singapore post developed a special problem from exactly August last year especially for those buying phones... But before that they use to be faster than even DHL sometimes because I've received phones within 1 week of payment multiple times... So when buying kindly look for a seller that has option for China Post Airmail it is more reliable than Aliexpress SS/Singapore Post...
I think these are the major problems people are complaining about now... But you can still ask me more... If I have similar experience I will tell you...

OP let me leak a secret to you... My girlfriend and the girl I want to marry started showing interest in me... I hardly pick her call or reply her text until and had a straight talk with her which she confirmed that she loves me even though it was hard for her as a lady...
