I agree with you and that's why it grills me when I see people quick to insult other countries and make it like they are the reason for our situation.

We Nigerian need to recognise the issues, take blame and roll up our sleeves to do the hard work required to fix it. That starts from the leaders but also includes everything single Nigeria. The me taking of blame must change to one of change starts with me.

Nigerians talk about change but yet are not ready to stop the day to day things they do that are wrong e.g. simple things such as disobeying traffic rules leading to chaos on the streets.

It's not about what they have but the principles involved.

Nigeria may have biggest GDP in Africa but we know that doesn't translate into things working properly and the following of due process. Morrocco with their smaller GDP is a lot more structured and things work compared to Nigeria.

You have a point there. A good one.

But lets stop comparing countries with stable Types of governement (whether its Monarchy/Aristocratic)
with ours which has been moving from military to Civilian (Plus Interim in between).
If The past civilian rules/republic were allowed to grow, I tell you Nigeria will be far ahead
of many of these countries rubbing our noses in the mud. You and I wont be where we are today.
We'll be light years ahead in our careers and personal lives. We are a people of lots of potentials.
