Brother, every single word you wrote is true. I am truly ashamed of our youths and the so called elites. Today, I am embarrassed to identify myself as nigerian. Our brothers from the west are the ones giving this nonsense some impetus. It is a pity how some people can sell their consciences for some ethnic interest.
It is even more stupid when you hear or read their arguments. Same Buhari that cancelled the Lagos metro rail line and forfeited tens of millions of dollars in doing so. Same Buhari that jailed politicians from other ethnic groups while the Hausa-Fulani ones all escaped. The same man that gagged the press, thereby gagging our freedom of speech. The same guy that has not achieved anything in 29 years. The same man that has either refused to submit his certificates or doesn't have any.

We need change. Change in our national and individual consciousness. Not this charade. Not when people like Tinubu, Atiku and all the corrupt former PDP members are the ones dancing around with brooms. There really was a country.
Zik, Awolowo, Enahoro and co, fought and died for nothing. The Nigerian-Biafran crisis was in vain. We are a people without morals. We truly lack common sense. We neither learn from history nor other people's mistakes. We seem to be so bent on making the same mistakes over and over.
Well, if the majority of Nigerians decides that Buhari is their best bet among over 170m, so be it. The people will only produce their like. This is how low we have fallen among humanity-to the point of campaigning for the same guy that overthrew a democratically elected govt. shame.
Are we not telling the military boys that it is okay to overthrow an elected govt? Are we not directly or indirectly, rewarding indiscipline in our military? Nigerians, think for once.

A good democratic country ought to have dropped Buhari for another person who would compete with PDP bearing in mind that Buhari has brought shame to the people, to the country, to his family and his own self.. I tell you.. The type of blind following we have in this country for politicians is alarming. Nobody is making informed decisions anymore or following with reason.
I mean from both parties o. Not even GMB only, though it seems GMB followers are totally fanatic about him. Ask them abt their ogas policies, ideas or why they love him and they don't know all they know is saibuhari. While displaying blind animosity for GEJ. I dont like GMB doesnt mean I should hate him or pour insults on him, I am not brought up that way. Informed politics is not run that way.

Nigeria needs to 'change' on so many levels. Look at our fiscal policies n Tax laws, look at our Reps/Senators salaries, Even our judiciary is not totally independent, look at the mess called INEC, LGs are not autonomous and even blamed FG for projects that's under their purview (but nobody is blaming them). Four years from now we might still be screaming change. Our country need great institutions not necessary great men.

We shall get there sha. We just need at least 15more years of democracy and all these issues will abate. Then Politics will be real politics.

Anyway Can't wait for the debate to come, let's see what all the presidential hopefuls have.

Introduce yourself properly to the family. Make the mom like you. Show her through your words and actions that you are not what she thinks you are (Be nice, buy her things, pray for her, be good to others naturally). Then of course meet your pastor introduce your gf to him and ask him for prayers and blessings. You need your parents (both parents) blessings and that of your pastors to be able to live happily ever after.

On the issue of sex. You cant leave together and not be tempted to have sex. sex is exclusively for married people. Don't be together in your house or a place or where you cant be interrupted, don't pray alone together, dont excite your sexual desires with amourous movies. Best bet is if you are stable enough financially (even if its a N30k salary) get married, You don't have to wait till her graduation. Don't let your sexual urge lead you astray, better you get married and satisfy the urge legally.
