Allow us to have an international airport first and then watch what will happen. Throw in even an Onitsha or Oguta port and see Lagos empty in a matter of few years. Like I said before, really smart Igbos are not buying land in Lagos. Smart Igbos are waiting until Nigeria is negotiated and every part is allowed to develop before buying land.
If you are the president, will you allow a people that are beating war drums to own an international airport when you know they will soon be importing grenades and bombs to achieve their aim?

Lets stop asking for things that will make it seem as if we have an ulterior motive, our commerce will get us an international airport, but we need to focus more on our business and less on Biafra.
PoliticsRe: All Hail Biafra- Biafran National Anthem (Remastered) by invisible2(m): 6:21am On Jul 31, 2009
The only people asking for Biafra are those that are eying the oil in the south south as part of Ibo properties and the concept is to seize the whole thing to ourselves and let the Hausa - Yoruba go and hang. This is selfishness in my books. The resources are enough to go round if only corruption will allow it.

I believe we lost to by 1-3 ,which is not too embarrassing considering we'd already drawn first blood in the league.
Damn! that was so daft of me not to remember it was only 1-3 but the gunner fans all around me were all praying for the match to end, for NEPA to take light in the stadium and save them from further humiliation!

What are we afraid of in Nigeria sef?

Why are we running away?

What can we achieve on our own that we cannot achieve in Nigeria?

Who stands to benefit from a Biafran budget apart from those that are championing this division?

Are they telling us they could just wish away corruption?

Who are we going to sell our greed to? What of the classs/ caste system in our land?

What resources do we have to feed all the over 40 million Ibos?

PoliticsRe: All Hail Biafra- Biafran National Anthem (Remastered) by invisible2(m): 5:44pm On Jul 30, 2009
We have many unresolved issues which the promoters of Biafra are not telling us, how can they tell us the truth when they are busy making billions from Igbo bodies worldwide in the name of fighting for the cause, what cause?

The way the Ibos are maltreated is the same way the Housas are suffering, the poor Yorubas etc, our opressors are similar, and they are our brothers! They are the men in govt, military, legislators, big businesses, these are our worst enemies.

A failed governor will find it easy to blame his uncontrolled embezzlement on the central govt, (the housas and yorubas) everyone and not himself, to divert attention from his fraud. Abeg lets go and do our work and forget those that want to clash the heads of poor tribes against each other, they are the ones to benefit from the fallout or are you the one to profit from arms and ammunition sales?

Open your eyes!!!!!!!

If I remember well, there was a time when they were going to leave but then the Lagos government ask them to stay, I can't find the article but anyway I agree that there is no way a Biafra is going to work when Lagos is overpopulated with Igbo people, but then again these people have invested so much in all these other place, there looks like something is going on Nigeria so they are probably going to lose their property (like they always do) in the North and so on.
And to add to the trouble, food is cheaper in the north. My guys there eat a plate of eba for N70 while the same plate costs N200 in the east.
Why do the Ibos invest in a place they claim to hate so much, why do they build houses in their so called enemies lands? Charity should begin at home because Ibo houses and properties are what they will first target in the event of a confrontation, what an easy target!

Please stop spreading these anti-Nigerian topics as it even endangers the lives of the innocent Ibos. My brothers are important to me.

Let them not listen to the lagos gov if they are serious about leaving, we can form our Lagos in Onitsha and environs, but where should our goods come in from, we have no seaport.

You don't think?
If the worst enemy of Ndigbo is Ndigbo according to you, who is the worst enemy of the Ijaws, Yorubas, Fulanis, Efik and Hausas? You must know the answer, unless you are just an expert on Ndigbo.
And which of the above doesn't have a dose of their corrupt, inconsiderate? And why that got to be a measure of aspiration of the majority?
A people willing to pull out of another man's country still moving in droves to Lagos and Abuja? You gat to be kidding me.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only by invisible2(m): 1:52pm On Jul 30, 2009
Selling players to avoid the melt down sounds right, till you start to witness empty stadiums like in Italy.

Football is an entertainment business and fans come out to pay and watch top performers playing, not coming out to watch third rate players struggling every week to hold their own against some stars.

We play Athletico Madrid, Valencia n the the big one begins, away to Everton on Sat d 1st, 8th and 15th Aug respectively. Judging by yesterday's game, we aint ready at all (judging just yet will be unwise, anyway). We gat about 18days or so. At the end of last night's game it seems that Emmanuel Eboue went over to the Arsenal fans, threw in his boots/shirt etc and waved goodbye. Is he going too?

I think AW wants to flush out the Africans to a minimal extent knowing how important our fixtures are
btw Jan n Feb(Aston, Bolton, Everton, Man, Chelski, Liverpool, amongst others), but he needs to do that with adequate replacements. For all fans, I think this guy isn't a numskull and I think also that he'll buy. He seems to want to adopt the last minute method he used last summer and January (arshavin). He felt short in the former cos he was £2m short for Alonso n Liverpool refused to sell at that. i think also that he's rily covering up for the fiscal problems at arsenal which SAF seem to know abt.

Kip ur fingers crossed gunners!
If you sell all your African players just because of the ANC, you will sell all your European players during the Euro, sell your Russian players during the winter! grin

I dont think the cry for Biafra is right, it will not save the Ibos from themselves. The worst enemy of the Ibos are themselves. Very hardworking, inconsiderate, industrious, greedy, inventive, corrupt, creative set of people.

Is there any price for being a confused coach? Wenger will win it by miles!

Arsenal will not finish 4th this season, they will finish 9th but the world will not end, take hearts boys, such is life.

The guys on this thread are now talking slowly, where is that brashness in Arsenal fans, where is the optimism, the cockedness, the irritating pig-headedness of the '49 match unbeaten run days' ?

PoliticsRe: 1 Million March Protest Against Power Failure (phcn) In Nigeria by invisible2(m): 7:24pm On Jul 27, 2009
I support the idea, you guys should start printing posters, stickers, handbills etc.

I think this can start something serious, including the questions about the corrupt officials, the neglect of the niger delta, the fraud of the national assembly,

The officials could claim to be adamant, but publicize this in many international media, advertise the results, persist like once in every month with the march and they will start to get uncomfortable.
