Ibadan is as big as Anambra state, Apart from Onitsha and some few places in Anambra how many places have any sign of development in Anambra ?

Ibadan as a city is bigger than Lagos state not every part of Lagos is developed, so it is also understandable that Ibadan have some local areas, you guys would even bash Lagos state your bitterness for Ibadan is expected.

Oga, even a smaller Lagos has a larger developed area than the bigger Ibadan.

Oga, stop the delusion , Nnewi , Onitsha, Obosi, Oba, Awka have far better looking houses than this dungeon called Ibadan.
Oyo is also bigger than Israel , does your size nonsense still work ?

Just agree that the west has stunted and regressed development. Your towns look like they are stuck in stone age .
The Easterners renovate their abodes regularly, copy that. The 50s are too recent for this decay your towns keep showing

His operation looks quite big so hopefully he has an agreement with the original manufacturers.

That will be for some products cos he also manufactures a lot of products too.

Lol.. it's actually expected... Government cannot be the only employer of labour... Private individuals also need to establish business..
Here, the citizens are actually the problem...
Politicians- when they have money, they spend it abroad, taking their families out... Carrying our money out ...
Wealthy Citizens- they work here, and spend their naira outside the country. Go on vacations outside, finance their childrens' education abroad....
Even those with ill-gotten wealth (Yahoo guys and some religious leaders) they just Keep spending the money without using it to even empower or encourage production...
Japa syndrome is also a factor... Ask any or some Nigerians what will they do if they have 5 MILLION NAIRA, first thing that comes their mind is to find way to Japa....

So you can see that, if there's no business profit making establishment, where will the creation of jobs come from?? Who will employ the vast majority of able bodied youth

Nobody can solve our problems except we ourselves....

Like glaxosmithkline established and the same government chased them and several other companies out of Nigeria due to bad economic policies. Keep deceiving yourselves

1. The people have refused to deal with embezzlement issues to date so pointing that out whenever progress is to be made in other areas is useless. Imagine this one school as a company, a separate entity that needs funds to operate and provide service to its customers. The company is well in its right to raise prices on the service offered. So? undecided

2. I'm afraid I have to disagree! In 2023, $21 is unreasonable. undecided

3. The suffering of the masses has nothing to do with the school/company given that their suffering is a result of their general political ignorance coupled with a foolish approach to living. The school has to make money and pay its staff. Part of that money comes from charging comparable prices for the service it offers. Right now, $130 is ridiculously low. undecided

Just stop defending the indefensible for you to sound politically correct.

Once you know there are free tuition universities abroad, just go there.

16k is very ridiculous. In a matter like this, reference to UK, US, Canada, Australia education will go out of the window, it is now you will become Scandinavian and Germany fans, where you need to deposit millions of naira for your maintenance.

Once you have identified you have choices to school free abroad, just run with it.

Do their citizens pay a dime to go to the university? Why reference what international students go through?
Our FG could have afforded free university education for all if they weren't embezzling the funds. Just look at the past eight years - loans, revenue from international grants and aides , yet nothing to show for them.
Same revenue keeps pouring in , yet the FG is shedding her responsibilities up and down , is that what those European countries do?

Saudi and other oil countries don't have these types of corruption going in that's why they can afford things for their citizens , that's patriotism.
Don't even talk of population. Nigerian politicians can't even govern a population of ten people .

Look at you. 16k no make sense, na 100k per student go make the economy better?

What then is Tinubu doing with the money that could have gone to fuel subsidy if he is shedding his responsibilities from other things ? What then is Nigeria doing for her citizens ? More revenue for the FG with attendant shedding if responsibilities is off the hook.

Common sense should tell you that the impoverished citizenry can't afford 100k per child in the same economy that is bleeding or you think the masses aren't the sufferers? Is Tinubu suffering?

You come to the west for better education and better life wink 3 out of the 5 first generation universities are in the west. Even university rankings confirm that the best universities in Nigeria are in the west. Those who want the best education will naturally gravitate to where they can have it. What we have as advantage is that most Yoruba parents will rather go hungry and wear worn clothes than deny their children of education in these our top universities.

If you had the best universities, you wouldn't be voting in a Tinubu.

Those who think education is expensive should try ignorance.

Now it's clear to everyone that the FG has been hugely subsidising education yet the ungrateful unpatriotic beneficiaries of this heavily subsidized education will immediately transfer the education overseas and still turn around to talk down on Nigeria. Smh. They will lose! You can not cheat Nigeria, Nigerian tax payers and go scot free.

Very soon, these FG schools will be charging cost reflective school fees while indigent students will get loans to pay it. Hardworking, brilliant indigent students will get 100% full scholarship and bond to serve for few years to repay so others behind them can get same scholarship.

The welfarist system of the state drove the nation into monumental debts and widespread multidimensional poverty that produced a largely mediocre set of unpatriotic graduates with entitlement mentality. Imagine generations raised on fuel subsidy, electricity subsidy, education subsidies, health subsidies, free money cash transfer of npower, ponzi schemes, crypto etc, yet spend most time on Twitter, NL and other social media platforms. That's a legion of generations of largely unproductive lot! It is not sustainable anymore as our debts keep mounting and more youths get used to easy and fast money.

Our universities will now be forced to go back to the days people know why they are in school and will face it squarely to come out with great grades. NUC should equally ban federal universities from admitting JAMB candidates who score less than 200. It's ridiculous that UNICAL is admitting JAMB candidates who score 140 shocked How on earth should FG be subsidising the education of a mediocre student who scored 140 out of 400. That's a 35% fail score!

Everyone must do the right thing to return this nation back to her consistent winning ways. Parents will now take parenting serious because the era you born excess hoping that govt will feed, clothe , train and educate them for you is gone.
May God bless Nigeria for ever!Check my signature for free stuffs!

And you think this will make them stay ?

Yeah it is sad, but at the end of the day we have two choices here

Remove subsidy, and suffer hardship for a long time, but long term, get a chance at some investment and more domestic refineries (it does not mean our economy would become like the US and China, but it does make things a bit better).

Or keep subsidy, and the subsidy costs grow, until we are spending loans, revenue and non existent money on subsidy. Then IMF decides to pull the rug....and then if you think we suffer now...

No, it does not mean Tinubu is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Are Tinubu and NASS suffering the hardship?

Fruitless exertions that will avail nix! Obi's political career is as dead as dodo and he's to blame. You don't plant coconut and hope to harvest palm fruits. He could have stayed on in the PDP and agree to be Atiku running mate. Or, what governance experience did he acquire between 2019 and 2023 that he should think that he's bigger than his former principal? National politics is far higher than Anambra politics. That's the basic truth Obi's boastful kinsmen failed to tell him. How would anyone from a fractioned political party expect to defeat another who had been building nationwide bridges since 1993? A man who didn't ask for contracts and other perquisites from the government he helped to install. How many politicians could have done that? Obi's time has faded with the February 29th sunset, and no amount of birthday celebrations, hospital and IDP camp visitations can revive it. If only because when the sun rises it doesn't look back until it fulfills its daily course. There are countless Igbo politicians like Moghalu, Onu, Umahi and Soludo who are miles away from Obi in competency, etc. who can easily be BETTER Nigeria's president! So, why the fixation on Peter Obi, a man who can in no way light a candle to any of those great men?

Did you vote Moghalu during the previous elections
