Many people were misled and also many were tired of the Buhari's administration. However, some people saw beyond that and voted for competency due to antecedents.

If there is a reelection in lagos tomorrow, Obi won't see a hundred thousand votes. The people he lured can now see that he is not a saint as pictured but a desperate fraudulent liar. Thank you

Tinubu hired thugs who killed and mained people in Lagos for votes, snatched ballot boxes and on video, his minions were rewriting figures. Yet, Peter Obi who didn't do these is the desperate one?

Birniwa:

You honestly appear like a retard and ignoramus all at same time because you're simply provincial who has very little knowledge even about his surroundings.

Let me surprise and at same time, clear your illiteracy with some disturbing statistics. Hausa people dominate a percentage of 40% of Nigeria's 230,000,000 people. This roughly translates to over 90,000,000 Hausa people alone in Nigeria. In case you're Yoruba or Igbo, the numbers are 42,000,000 and 48,000,000 for Igbo and Yoruba respectively.

Out of those 90,000,000 Hausa people, roughly a little over half of them are educated. This means that only the educated Hausa people, are more than the entire population of Igbo in their entirety or Yoruba in their entirety (including their literates and illiterates). So owing to this fact, you're simply a f0ol to think that a Hausa an average man is not educated. Their literate ones alone outnumber the entire population of your tribe that's if you're even among the other two major Nigeria's tribes (Igbo and Yoruba)

Here in the North, Yorubas do nothing but simply vulcanizer and mechanic works. The Igbos sell nothing but majorly okrika and those cheap Chinese yards. Both the women of these two tribes do nothing but ashawo business. If you go to any brothel in the North, they are the only tribes you'll find there.

Finally, you need to travel to learn about the reality of things and stop being the ign0rant that you're about those realities.

You are the one to travel and see that there are many Igbo doctors and nurses in the north. Which one is okirika and ashawo? Are you that cursed or something?
Igbos deal in a diverse amount of businesses too from hospitality - hotels and restaurants, foodstuff trading to owning schools.

Oga, by proportions to population, hausas are hugely uneducated. The so-called educated ones are poorly educated as well .
Tell your crap to those who are not in the north.
It also reflects on statistics like maternal mortality, infant mortality, malnutrition, poverty, hunger, disease burden which are very poor in those parts.

I will leave Yorubas to defend themselves but that crap you wrote about Igbos in the north is balderdash

Politics / Re: APC Would’ve Lost To Atiku If Osinbajo Got APC Ticket – Igbokwe Counters Sanusi by InyinyaAgbaOku(m): 7:14pm On May 03, 2023
AndroBlaze:

I think this is a good analysis.

If Osibanjo had won the ticket he would have won all the Southwest states including lagos, probably only getting an extra 500k - 1million votes than Tinubu.

He would also have won Edo, Kwara and Kogi. He'd win Benue and Plateu and at least have got 25% in Abuja.

The game changing state, Kano would have been a real issue. He would have come a distant 3rd in that state which would have scattered the winning formula for APC (i.e eating the core northern vote). He would have done far worse in the core North than Tinubu and unfortunately Atiku would have rode to an easy victory as the only region Osibanjo would have dented votes that Atiku got would have been the North Central.

Obi would have also come a very distant 3rd as only his clansmen and the South South would have voted for him He would have won not one single state out of this sphere and done worse in the South South as a whole than he did in this election. Wike too would have probably written Rivers result for Atiku, as he would have seen no need to fight PDP when it was clear Atiku would win the core north unfettered.

Osibanjo would have only had a chance to win this election if PDP had done the right thing and given it to a southern candidate (i.e Obi or Wike).

Its funny how things play out but Tinubu's ticket seems to have been a masterstroke for a poorly performing ruling party and the only way for a Southern presidency against a popular Atiku.

Though maybe if Atiku had won against two Southerners, that half of the country would have realised the importance of taking elections far more seriously and strategically and stop limiting themselves with emotions.

Mumu
Even in this election, did Obi come a distant third ?

Yoruba did this and that, yet, after all these years, the easy way Tinubu thugs could separate Igbos from non Igbos during the Lagos elections are neat, good looking, fair , rich looking and sophisticated. What did you do with the politics?

Igbos are the one shouting and making demands here and there , since they don’t want to have anything to do with the failure , they shouldn’t make any demand from the said failure. Another 4 years will soon be upon us and they are free to continue the circle of putting all their eggs in one basket. Look at Afenifere and some notable yorubas that are supporting Obi , they are doing that so they can have power to demand and negotiate if Obi win. Obi won in Lagos and and Atiku won in Osun . But both Atiku and Tinubu didn’t even get up to 150k votes in all South East

Americans believe in their country-
Despite joblessness and homelessness altogether hopelessness, they remain patriotic to their nation. Something that you need to learn seriously from them.

Americans who move to foreign countries do so for adventure and passion. They didn't run away out of resentment for their country. At least, they stayed back to build their nation understanding it's their civil responsibility to their nation.

Even other African countries in worst situation than Nigeria still love and respect their nations.

The unpatriotism

Edit: I came to United States in 1993. Nigeria was great . I wasn't running away for anything. I am certainly running back next year to contribute to my nation in my capacity.

Finally,

Sorry, you've to do those three jobs before you qualify to practice those professions in America.

Even if you're graduates of those discipline from Nigeria, you won't practice with your Nigerian degree. You've to upgrade your degree to American standard and afterwards study for your licensing exams.

You can't practice with licensure.

Above all you can't go back to school without residency green card because you can't afford tuition without student loan. And you can't get student loan without green card.

Many of you have no idea how anything works here. And above all, you'll will need to start resetting your perception, morals and values for instantaneous gratification of things without process of earning them. You pull that stunt here you'll end up in prison. There's no cutting corners and there's no help from anyone.

To think, you'd come off from Nigeria jump into the hospital to start practicing as a doctor and quickly scooping dollars is a delusional fantasy.

You've to invest time, hard work, money education years before you get to that point. Until then, you need multiple jobs to support yourself.

It's hard to get work visa in the US Now. You might want to consider Canada 🇨🇦 Even at that you'll need recalibrate your life ( starting all over)

It takes a lot to be jobless in this America, stop talking rubbish.
Hopelessness where?

Oga, no dey cap nonsense, you aren't talking to a local champion.

If bank managers resign and pick up care work in the UK for eg, it shows people aren't moving just for the money.

Americans and western Europeans have every reason to be patriotic . Same can't be said of Nigerians where the leaders aren't even patriotic - the politicians seek healthcare elsewhere, educate their kids elsewhere , and all that all because they don't even believe in the country they govern. They also use foreign goods and deprive their citizens of the right to choose their leaders.
Came that be said of Denmark for eg?

Chimaroke Nnammani in the list is not of his party. Orji uzor kalu couldnt deliver his senatorial district to Tinubu, but won same senatorial district election for himself; in an election conducted same day, same time... Only ballot papers separated them. Funny isnt it? Yet you talk about about support.

In Enugu , the state with the highest former Governor, senate president, serving ministers: Ken nnammani, Sulivan, Godfrey onyeama and the others bigwigs all in APC. Tinubu polled only 4900 votes. Not even upto 5k votes. undecided And you are here Preaching support?

Asiwaju got less than 1.5% of his vote from Southeast.Infact take away Tinubu's total vote in SE, he will still be the winner. If election is conducted 3million times, the number of voters for him in the SE will not increase instead it will keep decreasing.

By the way, who should he have included? The people on the committee are mostly youths and middle-aged. Igbo youths are all on social media photoshopping PICCs line into Tinubu's arm for propaganda, while the rest are cooking up fake news about imaginary Guinean, called Tinubu.

Even this Joe igbokwe lamenting, as a commissioner in lagos, asides his social media chochocho , can he solemnly swear that he was able to deliver 10votes from his igbo brothers for Tinubu or sanwo olu in Lagos?

Igbos antagonised him before the election.
Opposed him during the election.
And are still running campaign of calumnies against him after the election.

The reality of these new Nigeria's political setting now is that; No one is going to placate anyone with any political post. Everyone must work for it. Time of pity-party is over.

What you sow is what you reap. Welcome to the new dispensation.

So, they should have rigged more for APC in the East even if the masses didn't want the failure ?

You people tend to see everything dark and bleak about Nigeria. While in fact, the nation is tax haven, literally no bills.

You're working to pay taxes and bills in the west at the end, you're left with nothing for your basic needs. Why on earth do you think people do multiple jobs here?

You're basically working for the system. It's worse for small business owners that get taxed heavily.

Report less amount you made from your business and see yourself in prison for tax evasion.

Nigeria comes with abundant freedom you guys don't appreciate.

And why are those people you tag suffering not coming in droves to Nigeria?

See how you cherrypicked the menial jobs to drive your point with . Only menial job workers who have black tax to pay to sustain their relatives in third world countries do that 3 job stuff.
Their doctors, nurses, lawyers , plumbers , etc don't.
Job type for job type, unemployed for unemployed, the quality of life is better in the USA than here. Your issue is that you are comparing the lifestyle of a cleaner there to a bank manager in Nigeria, though the former enjoys a better security and is exposed to social amenities and social benefits.
Compare cleaner for cleaner for the two countries and see how far .

At least they are even seeing 3 jobs to do per person , to get even one job in Nigeria no be yawa?
Please, quit this disgraceful comparison.

Some are yet EX- Con who were released from prisons but can't get a job cause of their criminal history.

You're talking to New York licensed rehabilitation therapist.

You just mentioned people with peculiar problems, so it's not a case of USA not working but some can't get jobs or earn money for personal issues ? Sounds fairer than Nigeria where all your hard work will not guarantee a good standard of living.
