siezemm:1x is the least of thier package and what do you expect of it? 1X uses 115kbps* on shared bases. If you want what you say you want, then you should go for the Visa Surf Broadband services, Visa Surf Silver, Gold or Platinum, the differences between them is their speed, Silver is 115kbps constant and convenient, Gold is 300kbps, good for download and other multimedia (Silver also is good for downloads too), Then Platinum is 600kbps, ( I guess you can do the math) Stop saying things you aint confirmed of yet, i used Visafone 1x while in the east and the speed was cool but not for download, imagine downloading with a dial-up (What do you expect?) @ DC if you call am internet fraud, na u know oh. |
@Bizzo, You are both saying the same thing, I guess he knows the steps but can't get pass this OS to boot from CD. @babasola Are you sure you have a bootable cd? Try inserting the cd while the system is on and load it, then select "INstall Windows bla bla And see if it works, if not, get another cd and if not, report back . |
When others are still weeping over spilled milk, |
My advice, 'don't tamper wit ur registry if u know nothin bout it' |
Technology growin? Thats true but if what u mean is usin an accelerator to power ur dial-up, then u're wrong. |
Be careful not to uncheck program names u are not familiar wit to avoid sys malfunction. When uncheckin, look to see where d program boots from. If its on program file it can be adviceable 2 uncheck if such programs are not necessary at bootup. Most especially, uncheck those programs that updates at startup but in no wise should u remove ur antivirus from startup. I hope this helps out. |
Speakin from experience, Norton slows the sys durin startup. But notwithstandin, i advice u check the programs that boots at startup and uncheck the 'unnecessary ones'. This can be achieved by typing 'msconfig' on d run command and selectin start up. |
U can see he has no solution to offer. So he kept mute rather than offer wrong and untested solutions. |
