You are not asking for something special, but allow others to grow too in their chosen field. By the way, you guys started this whole thing by comparing your salaries to other health workers. If you face your work and profession and leave others alone, then we won't be having this conversation.

prettyprettywow: You forgot that these are salaries of specialist Doctors(consultants) with over 12yrs of education and average of $300k in student loan (for US Drs) as compared to the salaries of an entry level nurse ( 4yrs degree and less than $50k student loanfor US graduates)). You fail to realize that in US, resident Drs earn an average of $45k, quite below the salary of the least hospital worker. So when they say Drs aern 200k, know that they are talking about consultants, and if you wanna compare with nurses, talk about nurse practitioners where some specialist nurse practitioners earn more than some specialist Drs e.g Anaesthetic nurses (CRNA) earn more than family physicians. Our Drs want to reap where they did not sow.

Besides, nobody is asking to earn same salary as Drs. That has never been the issue

Thank you for speaking my mind. Personally I prefer going to a qaulified pharmacist with my test result, than a doctor. I have seen scenerios where after a doctor must have written a prescriptions (which is a suppose to be a pharmacist job), the pharmacist takes the prescription back to the doctor with corrections, its either the dosage is wrong or the drugs combination is wrong.

Yes I cried, becos I felt so honourd to have all these pple in one place cos of me, especially those av not seen in a long time, (no mind me o, am very emotional).
