You can see the correlation between the number of engineering graduates and the development of these countries. In Nigeria, we have brilliant engineers in the thousands. But the sordid situation is that the government doesn't take engineering education serious. Little or no support to technical education. That's the reason that we are not innovative. The fact is, a country can not grow beyond the quality of its engineers.

The problems do not just stop with the government. After taking pain to study such very hard course. Is it not a curse that where you end up is the church preaching about white man religion. How can the nation develop with that?

Let me tell you how faith works.
Well....there are instances where people have touched some pastors in the past and they got healed. No prayers, just physical contact. Their faith pulled the trigger of the Miracle in that instance.

The woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus believing she would be healed. Without Jesus praying, she got healed.

If it happened in the time of Jesus, it can still happen.

Now, seeing and treating pastors as gods shows something.
It's either the pastor is manipulative from his teaching or the people just choose to be gullible through hero-worship.

The danger of this is they would let go of their reasoning capacity and let the pastor dictate how they live their personal life. Eg. What they eat, what they wear, where they live etc...all these things has nothing to do with a pastor unless the pastor notices some possible danger to health and safety.
In that case, he can only advice not seek to control the fellow

Let me give you an insight into a little bit of VIP protection as relating to pastors.

In Nigeria, the moment a pastor becomes a public figure with influence and wealth, you are a target.
As such, at least on one occasion, an attempt would be made to invade your private space with an intention to harm for various reasons.

As such, security would provide crowd control, ensures the pastor isn't a soft target for people with crazy ideas, identify and neutralise possible threats to the pastor or the organisation he controls.....all these done without relegating divine protection. You have to understand the terrain you are operating in and take appropriate measures.

The reason it's like that in Nigeria is because of loopholes in our security system. Otherwise, some of the pastors won't need that much security.

I wouldn't pretend to act as if I didn't understand your write up here. I honestly did!. The problem is not with the people, the probleml is actually with the way they have been made to see these pastors as gods. Majority who make effort to come close to the pastors aren't coming close to harm, they have the believe that touching them in one way or the other would bring healing or one form of success or the other. Thus is because they have over rated these folks. In order to prevent crowding them, the need for earthly protection is welcome by me. But in actual sense, would touching any of them heal any ailment?
