Lavor234: Very short sighted and myopic reasoning with no consequential thinking. Demolition will cost you more than you petty grouse since you cannot think past today, it will also ruin future investment in the country. Money is a coward and goes only where it is welcome. No one will invest in a place where it will be demolished under the whims and caprices Most industries are relocating to Togo and Benin. How will the govt recoup FDI, is it through taxing improverished citizenene Do you know the magnitude of this project, the hundreds and thousands of jobs, real estate, motels, restaurants, fuel stations and other small businesses that will spring up along the coast in the entirety of the 9 states, do you guys think at all, you're bleating how investments and FDI but can the beach rival the economic benefits and upturn this massive project would bring to the country and all the all 9 states individually. |

They’re prepared to lose $1.5 million annually in tax and 4000 jobs in these hard times. Why, because Tinubu and his all Yoruba advisers are real dullards who will not stop until they see the country in ruins. Even the CNN reporter is shocked! Funny thing there is, they think they’re dealing with the Igbos, but I bet over 50% of those 4000 jobs sent into the unemployment market will be Yoruba. $1.5 million in tax compared to the hundreds of thousands of jobs, real estate, motels, restaurants that will spring up along the coast in the entirety of the 9 states, do you guys think at all, why are you people just incredibly unreasonable and think everything is about you. Do you even have a working brain to begin with? Because only someone who is completely oblivious, foolish and empty upstairs would reason this way. 🤦 |

God1000: The money is not that much, a continental cup like AFCON should worth more than that but the trophy itself is beyond money sha.
FIFA spent a whopping $440 million for all the participating teams in the last tournament.
Winner got $42m
Runner up $30m
Third place $27m
Fourth place $25m You people should learn to make comments like someone with a semblance of education and common sense, you're comparing a Global competition to a continental one, why not compare it with the Copa America where the prize money is $6.5 million and the AFC Asian Cup with price money of just $5 million. So you see AFCON has higher prize money than the rest of continental cup. |

I think I don't have the full picture but based off of what I just read here on Nairaland, the social media manager seemed lazy and had a lackadaisical attitude to the job she was paying him for. She brought up the issue several times and he promised to change but never did.
One thing I know about rich folks is they don't throw money away and that's why they are able to accumulate it. If you don't do the job well, you haven't fulfilled your end of the bargain and are, therefore, at the customers mercy.
What am I missing? Yes you're missing your common sense, if someone is not doing a work right, you fire the person, pay them for the work done and get someone else, not adding more jobs and contracts for them piling up their salaries for 4 good years and now decide not to pay. the way some of you reason like oafs and toddlers on a public forum tho 🤦 |
