Excuzeme: You are right about their racial disposition though. They relax a bit once they know you sha. I would rather say they are not so used to blacks or may be they are still be haunted by the old fight with the black Aborigines. |

Bollinger: Exactly oo. Bottom line, as long as your intentions are genuine and you have adequate evidence that underpins your mission, POE would be a walk through the park. However, if your missions are not well defined, your chances of getting turned back is high. To genuine folks out there, you have got nothing to be afraid of, be calm, be confidence and be ready to answer questions about your mission honestly, backed up with appropriate documents. |

ronald4lif: Have you ever lived in Australia? Have you been there before? Are you saying this based on what you watch on border security? Australia is one of the few countries where you don't get harassed on the street for immigration papers. Fictitious marriage also works in Australia and I know a number of Nigerians or Africans who have used that to regularized their papers. In fact, you can obtain your stay by merely having a kid with an Australian. Many Asians and Africans live and work illegally in Australia without visa in farms, construction sites, etc. Australia isn't popular among Nigerians because of the distance, over 26 hours in the air. |

modath: Two different things, bag search happens every now and then, even here in Lagos. Phone search is a definite No No. Personally, I find it demeaning as they wouldn't try that with any self respecting person. Again, any self respecting person would say No and cite privacy policy and subsequent offer to make available any document or answer any question that would help them come to a decision. I am sure you would do just fine if your purpose of entry is genuine. 3 Likes |

otiigba1: No one is contesting their right, however, they wouldn't wield the stick for no reason, that would be abusing the right entrusted to them. Furthermore, these officers's work are reviewed periodical (sampling), they would not want to be found, turning genuine people back at the point of entry for no reason. 1 Like |

bubsykay: Don't decline if the NOC code are similar. Back up the change with a good letter of explanation and upload it along with your reference letter or space provided for LOE. Explain why the change and reiterate the fact that the change does not affect your point. And if you are not comfortable with that, you may decline. Totally your call. |

bubsykay:Have those guys received their PPRs. You usually can't change information that fetches you your ITA points without consequence. One thing I know from some applicants' GCMS notes is that CIC agents would always compare your ITA profile with your final application profile. Any material change would definitely attract a refusal. While a change of NOC doesn't directly impact your point, however, such change does attract a suspicion of fraud/misrepresentation. If the NOCs are indeed similar, I would suggest you keep the old NOC and tweak your job description instead (where possible) 1 Like |

bubsykay: You are required to do your medicals before final application submission. Please note that if you submit your application without uploading the medical summary assessment form, your visa application would be refused. For the medicals, look through the list of appproved panel doctors in Nigeria. Give one of them a call to schedule an appointment. Present yourself for the test. You would get a receipt and medical assessment sheet. Upload the sheet in the appropriate space in your application. Most applicants usually get the medical passed status in 1-3 days after final application submission. |

kokobi99: Uncle, you sure say you calculate the thing well sha? Hope you scrolled down to see your over CRS at the bottom of the page? I estimated your AGE as 29 (fresh grad with 3 years exp) and your IELTS as CLB (L-R-S-W 8-7-7-7) and got a CRS of 429. A CLB of 9 in Ilets is easily achievable with good prep and practice. |

deesmom: You should be fine with a solid letter of intent to reside in Ontario. Unfortunately, it's something you have to draft on your own. Do your personal research on how your profile, life, family and career fit into Ontario. Research top companies in Ontario that offer similar roles to your job title and relate your life dream to the opportunities offered by those companies. Research great schools in Ontario for your kids and relate them to how those schools would help your kids integrate faster. Having close friends and relatives that you can provide little evidence for, can also help. I believe you would do just just fine 2 Likes |

yinx007: Pay for application fee first, and RPRF a couple of days later You can pay the rprf through the link below http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees and provide a receipt of payment through case specific enquiries, see link below https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries.../canada-case-cas-eng.aspx For POF at POE, your account statement and your ATM card would suffice. A recent statement proves you have the required funds and your debit proves that you have access to the funds. Ofcouse, you would need some cash on you. |

bubsykay: Just to add that -- it should be on the company's official letter-head. And if you have to do a draft of your roles for your HR or line manager, avoid using --1st personal singular like -- " I service the factory's generator". It gives you away that the letter originated from you and not from your HR. |

Long overdue. I almost ran over a poor dude that was crossing that particular road with 2 kids in his both hands (left and right). The dude had leap into the road from the back of a parked bus and unfortunately for him, I didn't see them until I was few metres away while I was still moving at 100km/hr. I slammed my foot on the brake, not minding if the car summersaulted or not. As God would have it, the car stopped only few inches away from the man, who had been immobilized in fear. Few seconds after the car had stopped, the dude still stood transfixed, and was only jolted into motion by few bystanders. I waited for the man to move into safety, and I subsequently pulled over, turned off the ignition and rested for few minutes. While other pedestrians blamed the dude for jumping into a road with an active traffic, however, I knew that the same guys would have called for my head if I had run the man and the kids over. I had just escaped a potential manslaughter charges. 1 Like |

kokobi99:No, provincial nomination isn't compulsory if you polled a good CRS score, anything north of 450. How high you score depends on your --Age, IELTS score, Level of education. Your 3 years of work experience already gives you the max point under work experience criteria. However, if your CRS score is low, you would have to depend on province nomination in order to land an ITA. Use the tool below to estimate your CRS score. Be realistic with your English ability if you have not yet written your IELTS test http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp |

EFCC left CBN, a governmental body who disbursed highly questionable funds without due approval, and they are now harassing a private bank whose responsibility is manage private accounts. And in the events that an account is managed in an unethical way, invite that particular account officer for questioning. You don't go round shutting down a whole branch |

HungerBAD: What is this one saying? License should be revoked? I am pro apc and pro fight against corruption, however, EFCC is beginning to overstep their bounds. And honestly, this singuar act shows they are not as financially smart as we thought them to be. For pete's sake, banking of today has gone online and sealing off a branch has zero effect on your investigation. Inviting Dasuki's account manager in the bank for investigation would have been a more appropriate step. |
