The sounds more like playing politics over the death of a student. I don't have anything against asking the state government to honor its commitment to the students, however, using the death of another person as a leverage is deplorable.

Big difference. GEJ became president with existing constitution. If the proposed amendment is implemented, GEJ would only have been president for 3 months; and another costly election held.

The proposed change is preposterous and would only further divide us across ethnic line.

I hope this U17 set is Successful. This is the set I really want and need to win it. The Indians need to know Nigerians are great people and there is more to us than crime.

The video below show how the Indians treat Nigerians. This man did not do anything. He was pulled off a truck with goods were he was working and beaten. His crime was that he was Nigerian and there was a backlash due to some protesting Nigerians.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTqNcWQWWy8

I need this win with a passion and I hope our young men know what they are going to there in India. These young boys are going out there to disgrace racism.

The Truck in the video was driven by the Nigerians boss. The man wanted to carry the Nigerian guy but they decided to rush him to the hospital. He passed out inside the Ambulance.

#SpitOnDiscrimination

Life is way too short to be obsessed with changing people's opinion about you or your country. Some people just can't be helped. Trust me, it's an effort in futility. For instance, I tried so hard to impress at my last company in one of these developed economies; after several months of consistently value delivery, my friendly white boss said to me -- "you don't act like a black person". I just gave him the excuse me "stare".

From personal experience, most racial folks are narrow-minded people who usually have not traversed beyond the width of their local territories. For instance, I commanded the utmost respect from my Indians colleagues in courses I enrolled-in outside of India.

We do cherish the progress we've made as a nation against all the odds. And like you said, there is nothing like the perfect process anywhere even in first world countries. But one won't be able to dispute the fact that our administrators have fashioned out a culture of either putting the cart before the horse or ensuring that nepotism takes priority over competence. It's time we learn how to take into consideration the hurdles facing any process and adopt our own solution instead of making same lame excuse of Rome not being built in a day

Nice post. Come to me with these lines in areas where the government failed due to absolute ineptitude, would give you a thumbs up. However, hurling insults on the FG as a result of a software glitch on the first day of a program launch, is out of place. I have managed a number of apps development projects even in sensitive sector as banking. And quite often we have had to deploy fixes, patches, upgrade and enhancement to optimise the capabilities of developed applications.

Funny! You will only copy and repeat other people's mistakes when you have the opportunity of breaking records. Do you know how many Nigerians that the people you mentioned pay homage to almost every day due to their innovative works in their lives and business? You always want to carry last, celebrating mediocrity. Sorry!!!
Anyway, we are yet to see the impact and its sincerity. Let's hope for the best, not distracting praises.

How old are you? Do you have hand's experience on software development or business process improvement? If you have cognitive experience in the corporate world, you would realise there is no perfect system anyway. It's is not out of place for few glitches to crop here and there. The developed economy didn't become developed/specialised overnight, however, they got to that stage via continuous process/system improvement.

Cherish your little progress and consistently work to improve on that progress.

You have rated its relevance already when up till this moment the website is not working! Sentiments all the way!

Obamacare site had glitches first few days of the launch; did that make the program a failure? As big as Microsoft is, they still do release version of the operating system; does that imply Microsoft do not know what they are doing?

I rated it relevant, because, unlike the free 5000 naira promised, this program actually entail value creation. Literally, participants would be paid for "work done".

in the bible u quoted is not the amount that matter to Jesus but the heart of the giver

What part of the bible did I quote out of context? Are the poor in church not entitled to a category of blessing as well?

Even the leadership of the church knew the parish pastor erred, what's your defence here?

In the eyes of the RCCG region 14 only error is acting without authorization. Any of those amount could have been given cheerfully and without compulsion.
What they don't know or fraudulently keep silent about is that the amount you give does not amount to your blessings. The widows mite is one of the most famous accounts in the gospel but these pastors would wish it was expunged from the scriptures because widows mites can't make them multi billionaires.
In the categorization what is the level of blessing for 1000 naira, 500 naira, 20 naira. What blessing is there for those who had genuine joy that a house of God is to be built but don't have at all but would have contributed if they had.
The categorization of blessings is evil and the wanton greed for accumulation of funds from parishioners is a great sin.

The form is RCCG members' biz and there are lots of RCCG members on Nairaland. If you do not see any thing wrong here, I guess I may have to help you a little bit with this question; what category of blessing would the biblical widow (who gave her mite) fall under in the form? In the eye of Christ, she gave one of the best donations, however, in the eye of a parish pastor, she is not even fit for any blessing.

The political and socio-ethnic configuration of Nigeria does not lend itself to a full-blown, protracted crisis in the aftermath of a potential elimination of this president. Worst case scenario is that his fellow abokki cattle rearers would forment trouble in their Northern enclaves, and take out their frustrations on any unfortunate southerner they encounter in the core north. They cannot and will not troop en masse into the South South, South East, or South West to try any rubbish. Nigeria is certainly not Libya or Egypt.

If a President Jonathan who belongs to the region producing the wealth of the nation had been assassinated (God 'forbade'), ehen, Nigeria would have certainly become history. . Because it would have been impossible for any Northern president to be allowed into the Niger Delta to come and touch their oil.

The North has nothing to offer, so an eliminated Northern president cannot set the country on fire. Abokki would shout Allah this and that and behead a couple of people up north, and that would be it.

I keep saying it that Jonathan made a grave mistake by chickening out in fear that Nigeria would erupt in crisis if he had won the election by hook or crook. Nothing more would have happened other than the usual abokki bursts of madness in the core north for a few days, and I don't care if some stubborn North-based southerners pay with their lives for refusing to relocate to their home regions at such volatile times.

1. Stop saying the north has nothing to offer. Nigerians are still grasping with the scarcity of ordinary tomatoes, not to talk of other agricultural produce they bring on board.
2. A successful assassination of PMB would result in a full-scale civil war. The north would go on killing spree, the militant in SS would continue to mark their territory, Biafrans would capitalized on the opportunity to pull away, the central government along with SW would be pro-occupied with fighting a multi-facet war to quell violence in each of the other regions and keep the country together.

How would GEJ had won by crook? In the north where the Aboki's followed INEC officials to collation point? or Southwest which was APC stronghold? With money? Apparently PDP squandered trillions of Naira. It was absolutely impossible for GEJ to win that election by any means, which explained why he had to postpone the election at a point.

Man please tell me another lie.. we are talking about conventional guided missiles here and not cruise or ballistic missile...
Russian SAM s400 40N6 has one of the longest range with 400km and US Patriot with 160km..
And no terrorist group has the capability to operate a 10km precision guided missile
How are you guiding it to its target?? Semi active, passive or active guidance? Or you mean inertia guidance at such range without a fire control radar? Nahh.

And you just typed a shoulder fired missile with 11000 range. Haha I need a link to that news.

Read my post again mate? I reckon I used the word sophisticated missiles (e.g Ballistic missiles). For instance the Chinese long-range intercontinental ballistic missile has a range of 11,200km. If still in doubt, google is your friend.

ISIS can't boast of a Missile with 20km range and you are talking of NDA.. and for a long range missile a fire control radar is needed sir... so please cut that...

Ordinary Hamas in Palestine, launch their primitive shoulder-mounted missiles into Israel and not to talk of sophisticated missiles with range over 11000km.

No offence but this is absolute trash. If Buhari had gone to Ogoni, there is absolutely nothing anyone could have done about it. It is very silly for anyone to compare the security of inanimate pipelines which run hundreds of kilometers to the security of one man. Any kid can just pick up an isolated unsecure portion of a very long pipeline, set a dynamite and blow it up, but it is obviously not the case when it is a president; besides the scavengers are unlike bokoharam terrorists who are willing to die in suicide missions.

I strongly believe the sahara reporters' story which says the president is sick. All his visits in the last 2 weeks have been cancelled from Lagos to Calabar to Ogoni to Senegal.

There may be some iota of truth in the report. The truth is--if there was a successful attack against PMB, orchestrated by the ND militants, this country would definitely boil over the next 3-7 years. If possible that the US wasn't favourably disposed to the risk of another key African state thrown into crisis. They are still licking their wounds with Libya, Egypt is still shaky with the brotherhood lurking in the dark. My personal opinion though.

This is why the North will forever be superior to the South.

Your people are being butchered by the Fulani-controlled Army for protesting. Instead of you to speak out, you are here singing the tunes they told you to sing. The same Army would never try that in the North because they know the tone with which the Northern governors and people will respond.

Hoodlum ko. Hoodlums ni.

As much as I used to dislike Fayose, it's obvious he is the only Southern Governor that is not a coward and a puppet to Buhari's Fulani-led government.

I thought the army did something worse to the Shia Muslims in the North? For the records, I personally do not support the excessive use of force exhibited in both scenarios, but would be happy to see you quit the North vs South comparison.

It's called public relation. It's another way of the bank saying --there is no legal reason why the Governor would take such insane action. Don't forget that Fayose is classless; to put precisely, he is a thug.
