Oyiboman69:
your question is even wrong to start with...but,if we are to apply tense in this your incoherent question, 'have' is the right answer but,a situation where you are using 'arrived' which is in it's past form in a present statement,I can boldly tell you that again, you're wrong....
If you attended secondary school, your English teacher wasted your fees or you weren't a serious student. 'Arrived' as used there is in the past participle form, not past tense. The correct answer is 'has'. Google use of past participle for more information.

It's a pity.
My heart goes to the families of the dead soldiers.
In as much as I don't support the political oppression of the Igbos, though they partly brought upon themselves by their poor style of politics.
Igbos are not good in Politics.
Na business we sabi, whether black business or Clean one, we dey lol.
But The truth is that the Soldiers are more friendly, peaceful, disciplined and civil.
How many times do people run away at the sight of military men in their trucks in Igbo land? Hardly
But at the sight and even hearing of unknown gun men, people will start running helter scatter to avoid being killed extra judicially. Because they have no Rules of Engagement.
Mkpuru-mmiri is their grand commander.
Eziokwu na elu-ilu
Igbos should stop praising this people online, especially those of you living outside South East.
U really don't know what we pass through here.
U know the usual recruits for this kind of dirty game, ...the drug addicts, cultists, exconvicts, jailbreakers, hardmen, assassins, thugs, touts etc
The people literally figiate at the hearing of unknown gun men.
People's BP is raised unnecessarily.
Parents and loved ones are always under intense pressure to call their loved one to ascertain for sure if they are safe cuz of the activities of ESN.
They are like Bandits and BokoHaram.
But what baffles me is how same people they terrorise, still praises them, maybe the hope of Biafra Actualisation makes them to treat the atrocities of IPOB as lesser evil.
I wish Nigeria will zone the presidency to SE to shame this people.
Because they are hidden under the guise that they are fighting for political emancipation to torment the people.
Afonjamudeen, own up to your skull mining lineage and leave the igbos alone.

Romance / Re: I'm Fed Up. My Boyfriend Thinks I'm A Prostitute. by irrefragable: 1:06pm On Dec 23, 2021
Rachel98:
Merry Christmas Everyone. I promise to be brief. Pls Pardon any typo errors. I'm so confused right now. Pls I need mature advice

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year now. He's gentle (he talks only when needed, and he listens more), good looking, hard working and smart. He stays in a well furnished apartment. He don't smoke but drinks alcohol only occasionally. Everyone in his area respect him alot elderly, young even little children of age 4 and 5 calls his name and waves at him. I would be like how do this kids know you. He will laugh saying "me self tire". I'm faithful to him and he loves me. Despite my parents are strict, I always find ways to be with him.

Yes, We do have intimacy in our relationship. Now here is the problem. He prefer to have sex with me in an Hotel, which I hate so much. If we're together in his house, he will just say let's go out, the next thing we're in a hotel. He wastes his money on hotels. I don't like it. Maybe we can go there to eat in the restaurants, swim or drink but not to sleep over. Me personally I don't like it. But I have talked to him about it yet he won't listen. I angrily asked him if he's an occult, ritualist, or something.....Or will he die if he have sex in his house. He said God forbid!!

What he displayed yesterday got me really angry like I'm fed up.
I'm an auditor in my uncle's firm. My uncle celebrated his birthday/end of the year party in our firm yesterday. There was food and drinks. We the female staffs were the ones that prepared the food. I reserved like 4 take-away packs of rice nd chicken, cake and 3 5alive drinks for my boyfriend. So I called him that I would bring food for him. When I got to his house I gave him the food, he was happy as usual. So He said I should follow him to his car, he tried to touch and have sex with in his car like I'm a prostitute. I told him to stop. I was so angry, I took my hand bag and I went home. He has been calling me since yesterday (16 missed calls now) I haven't pick.

I don't know if I should end this relationship. He behaves like I'm a prostitute or something....I need a good advice I'm confused.
Your boyfriend is into something fetish. Go to him, give him an ultimatum: he either have sex with you in his house or you quit the relationship. He will prefer you quit the relationship because if he chooses otherwise, he might lose his life.

I don’t think you guys understand the Op.

It’s not that he doesn’t want those around him to succeed. No. He just wants his success to be more than theirs. He wants a life where he can be the one who’s magnanimous, helping others and getting the accolades as a chairman.

But this will only exhaust your resources and your mental strength. Na you go tire.

There will always be someone better, richer, stronger and smarter than you. Accept that reality and find happiness in the wins of others. When people around you are winning, take it as a sign that your own win is getting close. Be happy for them.
If someone always wants to be only one that people benefit from, it follows that he or she won't like other people to grow beyond a certain level so they would continue being dependent on him or her, and that is witchcraft, or don't you think so?

Good evening Nairalanders. So, I've been a chronic Pepsi addict over the years. I usually take two plastic bottles daily. One during breakfast, and one at night.

I usually take it alongside rice, noodles, any food eaten with spoon. I'm 27. Three years from now, I'll be 30, meaning I'm on my way to middle age.

I've decided to stop drinking it. It's hard but I will try. I now take my food with very chilled water.

I need tips on how to win the fight over my addiction to Pepsi. Today is Day 1. I'm writing this post by 11:30pm, and I've not taken any Pepsi today.
Good! While you are at it, try some exercise like jogging long distances everyday and chewing bitter leaf.

So as long as the northern looters are not arrested, let igbo looters go free. As long as bandits and terrorists who attack and destroy the north are settled, igbos should create their own bandits and destroy igboland so that government will settle them.

Very sensible people .
That is why I said we should break out and rule ourselves the way we want; not ruling according to how the fulani's want. If it were Biafra, there would be no prejudice in prosecution, and nobody would call for the release of orji kanu.

Please also take note: there are no igbo bandits destroying igboland. That is just figment of you and your fulani government's imagination and propaganda. Igbos aren't that stupid to believe you.

How can igboland become Dubai when the fulani forcefully imposed a governor for us in imo state? How can igboland become Dubai when anytime the people decide to hold the governor to account for the allocation, the idiot would cry to the fulani government and they would send fulani foot soldiers to gun down the protesters? We need our own country so we can rule it the way a country should be run.

All these achievements you credited to the gworo chewing dullard are pulled out from your arse. Mind you, Nnamdi Kanu, just like Ojukwu, is not what is fuelling the Biafran fire. The desire to be free from this shithole in imbedded in the DNA of every true born igbo. Nnamdi is just the leader of the cause.

Why are agitators angry whenever details of this biafra are asked?
Stop beating about the bush. The igbos you are referring to are ten times wiser than you and the fulani government you represent (no insult intended). Give them the referendum they asked for. If majority vote in favour of it then let them have their Biafra. How they go about running their country is none of your business. At least one thing I'm sure that will make Biafra a better place is that the country will be run how the people want it to be run; not by the dictates of gworo-chewing dullard in Abuja.

As a good fighter, one of the things you have to ensure is, that your emotions do not get ahead of you. While the emotions gives you the courage and the force to attack, it does not give you the energy to sustain.

This is exactly what played out during Ojukwus Biafran war. Ojukwu let his emotions lead, and did not take time to consult and plan well. He was pushed to fight, but could not sustain what he started. Eventually he fled and over 3 million Igbo's died.

Emotions make you go all out to attack your enemy, without thinking of defence. Because you have no plans for defence, when there is a counter, you expose your whole body to harm.

Today Nnamdi Kanu is playing the emotional game on Igbo's. Not to improve their lives, but to milk Igbo's. While Ojukwu was a military governor, took part in the administration and development of the eastern region.

Nnamdi kanu on the other part have not contributed or participated in the administration and development of the South East region.

He is pushing Igbo's again into an emotion driven war that exposes the region to destruction. If we are to assess the casualty in this mild agitation or drama of Biafra, it is evident that the Igbo's are already the loosers.

Igbos in the police and army have been killed.

Igbo's in ESN/UGM have been killed.

Igbo civilians have been killed by stray bullets.

Igbo economy and businesses are also affected.

In all this, he claims he is protecting igbos from fulani, but no single fulani casualty. Over 200 Igbo's have died in this alleged war against fulani in less than 2 months.

Even America with a working system, well trained police and working justice system, the police officers still behave unethically and kill people.

These officers are well paid, have insurance, educated and well funded. They are also law abiding and do not operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Still they make mistakes.

Imagine arming people who are not exposed, uneducated, poorly fed, lack training, no insurance, poor funding. Operating under the influence of drugs and alcohol, claiming to be protecting Igbo's.

The north that armed such people for political gains are still paying the price till today. They have lost thousands of northerners to the group and paying heavily financially.

Even with the arrest of Nnamdi kanu, Igbo's are still suffering casualty from the terror monster nnamdi kanu setup to increase donations.

This month alone, 3 promising igbo men have been killed and nobody is talking. They say when Biafra comes, the issue of insecurity in igboland will be taken care of.

The north said the same thing, when they get power back, they will tackle insecurity. They have had powet for over 6 years now, has insecurity in the region ended? Its just like watching fire start from the ground floor of a duplex, and you say when it gets to the roof you will put it off. By the time it gets to the roof, nothing is left.

The same people who are to be protecting igbos have engaged in assassination and kidnapping of Igbo's.

This insecurity have affected igboland negatively economically.

Poltically igbos have also burnt the bridges that would provide the opportunity to produce a president. Most blinded IPOB followers will tell you that they dont need presidency, what they need is Biafra.

This is what kanu told them before he had a meeting with PDP and later told them to go and vote. Before then, many of them have publicly burnt their voters card and could not vote.

The same person telling them they dont need presidency but Biafra, will tell them to vote in 2023, when he has already created enemies for Igbo's all over Nigeria.

Now they will say they want referendum not election. Lets discuss this referendum.

You will notice that churches in Nigeria grow as hardship grows in Nigeria. Church has become very lucrative as poverty, unemployment and hunger increases. Everyone is rushing to the church, because it is the only place they hear a message of hope.

While the pastors are preaching the message of hope, they are collecting a fee from the people. The tithes and offerings are the bills the members pay for hearing this message.

Ponzi scheme's also grow in such environments. As people are confused and looking for a way out of economic hardship, the ponzi operators promise them great returns on investment and flee with their hard earned resources. If you ask the investors what the operators of the ponzi scheme invest the money into, to generate 100 percent interest in a short time, they tell you they dont know and they don't care.

All they want is to recieve 100% interest on their investment in 3 months.

The same is happening to IPOB biafran agitators. All they are told is that their life will become wonderful when biafra comes. All thier children will be trained in school, they will have houses, jobs, cars, power supply etc. If you ask them how these things will happen, they tell you they don't know and they don't care. Their supreme leader will make it happen.

Kanu is promising them a wonderful country without a plan. Tells them when they get to the bridge they will cross it. But when it is time to raise money, kanu has a plan.

When it is time to pay the members he works with thousands of pounds monthly, he has a plan.

When it is time to go shopping, he has a plan. When its time to live in luxury apartments and drive latest audi TT cars in kenya, he has a plan for it.

But when it comes to Biafra, no plan.

Today they are forcefully imposing their views on other Igbo's. Threatening and killing those who have a different opinion.

Calling for a referendum and counting on touts, criminals, unemployed and frustrated youths, to win is a great danger for igbos.

These youths don't even know what they ar3 fighting for. All they know is that their leader promised them a better future. The same thing happens in Nigerian churches. Nigerian pastors, promise the members a better future, collect their tithes and offerings and make their present better.

Kanu is promising Igbo's a better future in Biafra, while he is using their donations to make his present better.

In conclusion, before a referendum is called. Its is important that the pro biafra elites and pro Nigeria elites in igboland sit and have a debate. While the touts and uneducated, frustrated foot soldiers of kanu watch.

Let them present Biafra in details. From the coverage of Biafra, to how the opportunities in biafra will emerge. How the cars, houses, jobs etc that they promised gullible igbo youths will be achieved.

If they are able to win this debate, then a referendum can be called. As it stands now, the only details Biafran agitators have in an arghment is insults and threats. Ask them how biafra will make their life better they call u sabo and efulefu.

These are the people who Igbo's want to entrust their destiny in their hands in a referendum?

People who are already threatening to kill Igbo's if they step out of their houses during their declared holiday? Cutting peoples penis and burning their property calling them sabo for having a different opinion?

https://youtube.com/shorts/PbwmtUeDzp4?feature=share

They will threaten other Igbo's against voting for Igbo's in a referendum. Before you know it they start killing Igbo's that voted to stay in Nigeria.

Today any igbo can be assasinated and called saboteurs, and other gullible ones celebrate. The killings will continue until those celebrating the killing of igbos start to kill themselves and call themselves sabo. By then, there will be nothing left of the igbo nation.

So before Igbo's hand their destiny to fraudsters and terrorists, this Biafra should be debated in details

Else it will be the end of the igbo nation. Remember, ojukwu fled after millions of Igbo's died. The Fake Ojukwu wanabe, has gotten British passport and ready to flee after the destruction in igboland.

The igbos said they need a referendum to be on their own. If you and the fulani government you represent are sincere why don't you give them the referendum first? Why shoot them when they protest? Sometimes I wonder if you think you are talking to fools.

you are right on the date not being fixed. Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday following the first full moon of the spring equinox as decreed by The Council of Nicaea in 325.

What some of us elders can see sitting down, you youths of today cannot see standing from the tallest Iroko tree.

The Biafran war was a massive conflict.

2 million Igbos lost their lives.

There was mass starvation of Igbo people. Many also died of malnutrition and kwashiorkor.

If you think this did not happen on a large scale, go to every Igbo village and ask them where their civil war dead are buried, and they will show you. And I mean EVERY village.

All you youths shouting 'Biafra Biafra' need to cool down and research what happened the last time.

It was very terrible for the Igbos. They suffered greatly.

Virtually the entire world stood against Biafra and supported Nigeria.

Biafra was blockaded, by sea, land, and air. Nothing could come in or go out, for years.

Igbos were forced to eat anything that moved including cockroaches.

Cannibalism grew.

You honestly do not want a repeat of what happened back then.

The sad thing is that this twitter, SUV, smartphone, instagram generation is far, far, far, far, far, far less able to deal with such hardships than the 60s generation, if their reoccur.

Nnamdi Kanu to me, is an agent of people who want to destroy Igbos again, as they have become the most prosperous ethnic group on the continent, and therefore, must be cut down.

He could be an international agent.

He is in London stirring up trouble, and now the East is becoming a battle ground for federal troops.

In 3 years time, it could be ''worse than Syria'' just like Kanu promised.

Igbos, is THAT what you REALLY want for your region?

Igboland, the land of multi-million dollar village mansions, festivities, industries, factories, and fine, fast developing cities, turned to... SYRIA?

If not, get rid of Nnamdi Kanu, or that is exactly what you will get.

Yes, we must abandon Nnamdi Kanu and embrace your ewedu cone headed skull.
