in futo, man o war students(guys, yes guys)stay in all hostels including female hostels..in dis case the dude stays in hostel c whch also happens to be the poor girl's hostel..stdnts who happened to be awake around dat time said they heard her scream bt d volume of the music was so loud and further incresed that it overwhelmed her voice.the worst is dat d act was perpertrated by more than person..in my own opinion she was raped bt due to the stigma in the african society everything is been sketchy to protect her "dignity".this is so inhumane,i see no reason why guys should rape their fellow student,i pray Dr Mrs Asiabaka will fight for her right..dats why she is the uni's mum anyway

Starx:
First of all, sorry about all the trouble. I know, from personal experience, that having issues with your face can be demoralizing on some level.

The problem with over-the-counter skin creams is that they contain such strong ingredients as cortesoid which is a steroid. Although it is cool for short term use, the active ingredients are in themselves addictive so the skin becomes reliant on them. So, the moment you try to stop it, your skin reacts and when you keep using it, the active compounds that were not intended for long term use start to break down the skin in a relentless vicious cycle. The only way to way this circle is to bite the bullet and stop applying such creams. Your skin will revolt, this is quite expected but do not go back to using them again as you'll find yourself back where you started with skin that is progressively getting damaged.

Only a dermatologist should be prescribing such creams for you and with a specific usage and duration.

My recommendations, that is, steaming and the oats 'n' honey facial mask works to heal the skin. The duration of the healing period will depend on the extent of the damage. But you will begin to notice a difference in a very short period (about 2 days). Because it works to heal, hyper pigmentation is also one of the things it caters to.

I would never recommend an over-the-counter face cream to anyone. I would rather suggest you take the patience to nurturing your skin and returning it back to its original beauty and even better. It is basically your choice, love. Do you want your skin to get better? You know what to do.

Be careful not to use Shea butter in the sun if browner skin is not what you're hoping to achieve. Also, Merry Christmas....in arrears smiley
tanks for the advice dear,i rily do appreciate, happy new year in advance

gej is too clueless and weak, the only reason y pple luv him is because he is a "christian" hence cannot enforce sharia,bt nig. re tired of him and his party he has stayd there long enough, buhari has a political age of 75 for all we knw he culd be close to 80,there is a reason why public servants retire at d age of 65,he jst might be as frail and weak as yaradua and cannot stand the heat of the kitchen, the only thing pple luv about him is his party,he is power drunk and i am yt to see any justifiable reason y he ousted shagari, frm his interview he lacks strategy and his only dream is to stop corruption whch deep dwn is us we knw is impossible cos evry org. dat can be locatd undr the map of nigeria is corrupt bt one thing i knw is dat his gov. cannot be as corrupt as the present one,his critics claim he will enforce sharia rule, dat i bliv is impossible because nigerians are too hard to bend evn idi amin cant try such in dis cntry he will have d same fate as abacha,as for atiku he is a known crook..we nid sm1 who is an intellect..charity they say begins at home,we nid sm1 whose strategic plan has transformd his state or evn his village dis men hv nt imprvd the lives of their townsmen i'm yt to wonder hw they will improve the lives of an avrage nigerian..go to adamawa and see pple ridn donkeys they barely have good skuls dere..they say a one eyed man is king in the land of the blind, wat i knw is buhari will do a better job dan gej agnst boko haram..i dnt care of he is a muslim or nt if gej continues at this pace boko will kill evry1in the north east in 4yrs tym nd 1 naira will be eqiv. to 300 dollars

@Op, i dont have issues with your doing the bidding of your paymaster- pdp. however, i just wish you note that, even if you give GEJ 16 years or more to rule this nation, he cant attain 1/4 of what OBJ achieved in 8yrs. also understand that Baba has become an elder state man that has children in the major political parties in the country and is committed to the course of building a great nation- Nigeria. These people that come to Baba are aware of what you've written here yet they hold Baba in high esteem this tells you that Baba has been forgiven and no one cares about his past. instead of aiming needless digs at your boss' critics try to support him by show casing his achievements for this nation and his efforts to keep it as he met it - united.
the problem with nigerians is that they do not knw their worth as citizens of an oil producing nation, tell me wat he achieved in 8years that is worthy of praise, the next thing u will mention is telecommunications, pple respect him because of his money that is the only thing nigerians respect, even if u are the world's biggest fool and u happen to be rich,ur village king will install a chieftaincy title saying u are the solomon of our time..the same thing he said in his manifesto is the same thing yaradua said nd the same gej said and is still the same that buhari will say(i.e stable electricity, good roads, poverty alleviation etc)lets call a spade a spade he stole our money shared some to his man-o-man and gave the masses the crumbs meant for dogs

9jaforlife:
Bigots like you who say that BH represents Islam have been destabilizing Nigeria for ages undecided

Why don't you explain why CAN President Ayo Oritsejafor was busy taking pictures with BH leader Shekau, if they're not allies with common interests? Why was his (Oritsejafor's) jet used in purchasing ammunition in that criminal manner when he's not a government official of this country huh

If a church is bombed you accuse Muslims. Now a Mosque was bombed and yet you accuse Muslims!! Now, who is the REAL terrorist?? Later you'll accuse Muslims of intolerance!!
what then do you want to say about terrorists in arab countries? are they christians too?..this is their modus operandi they first start by killing non moslems and wen the government and their fellow moslems speak against them they feel "betrayed" and open fire against them or have you nt heard of mosques been bombed in islamic countries by their brothers who feel they are nt preaching the real islam?even if they bomb all the mosques in nigeria that does nt make them christians neither does it make them true muslims it only makes them indoctrinated devils..u do nt knw wat the anmunitions found were used for or is it only b.h dat uses guns in nig. do u knw if it illegal ammunitons to protect political figures(though it is still a crime).,it is high time we stop blaming any set of pple,we hv to look up for ourselves, our leaders do nt care abt us they all have their kids abroad nd hence are nt living in fear in this country they only come back to throw expensive nikkai and white weddings,if anytin bad is abt to happen their mystery pot will inform them and they will escape the scene

its very unfortunate, this is d worst hit after the chibok girls saga..i cant help bt think abt the innocent children who wuld hv died in the attack.eyewitnesses account claim that three bombs exploded then gunmen came out of no where and startd shooting sporadically and it took up to hours before the police showed up,this is a mosque that was nearly bombed earlier this boy if bt for the intervention of a little boy(hope he did nt die),is it nt only bt normal for the security there to be tight especially on fridays?the emir of kano who normally presides over the jumaat was nt in town, the gov. was nt in town, infact am sure non of the elites of the mosque was around except the man who delivered the lecture, culd this be a coincidence or were they tipped?..how i wish sm1 can explain to me exactly wat dis boko boys wnt.the worst is that the media is claiming the figure is around 35,any one who knws the crowd dere will knw dat those who will die as a result of the stampede alone will be close to 40.it pains me to see a beautiful place lyk the north been destroyd,my heart felt condolences to those who lost their loved ones, imagine the grief dey wuld be passing by nw because of this agents of the devil

PoliticsRe: FINALLY! Reps Fix Date To Impeach President Jonathan by irynterri(f): 1:20pm On Nov 27, 2014
SamIkenna:
Impeaching GEJ is the easy part. The hard part is whether Nigeria will be able to pay her bills after GEJ is booted out.

Talk is cheap.

In my part of the country we have a saying that it's only the dead that doesn't know his weight.

Now, as for all the core northern lawmen who're excited about the prospect of GEJ leaving too early before 2015, the following below is what's in the offing for them should they get their wish.

1) Oil production and revenue will come to a screeching halt, thanks to GEJ's Ijaw kinsmen.

2) Asari, Tompolo, and their retinue of foot-soldiers will create a big eruption in ND as well as the entire stretch of Nigeria's coastline thereby drawing the overstretched military into a bitter war .

3) Limited military men and equipment will be deployed in the ND leaving Boko Haram infested North open to willing Jihadists from Chad, Niger, northern Cameroon, Mali, and Sudan - and this does not exclude already hardened and caliphate-hungry Shekau's indigenous Kanuri terrorists and armed Fulani 'cattle herders.' The entire North including Middle Belt will literally be a hot soup of molten lava.

4) State govt's monthly allocation all the over north will be hit the hardest given the end of oil revenue. With govts in the north in dire and impossible condition, northern economy will evaporate leaving an army of angry, illiterate, and religious purists in total control of a region the size of Germany and France combined.

5) SW will be too busy safeguarding their region. They'll understand your plight and perhaps pray for you in the mosque once in a while. This doesn't mean most folks over there won't remind you in national dailies how your unbridled lust for power undid you.

6) SE, the one single enemy you love to hate, will openly and undiplomatically tell whoever cared to listen that they knew you had it coming. They'll tell you to repent and apologize for all the blood you shed in Nigeria. And when they're not talking about your love for blood, they'll start lecturing you on how to marry fewer wives, make fewer babies, support your kids and send them to real schools, and most importantly stop your hateful Arabian imported wahabbi variant of Islam. However, when you do manage to beat the northern chaos and appear in Night-Mile Enugu, they'll still buy your red meat and pay you in cash jeje.

Anyways, let me just cut to the chase.
The mere notion of impeaching GEJ is laughable. It seems the proponents want to test the nationhood of this nation with an end of the year joke fit for April 1st.

Nigeria as is is unstable enough, bloody enough, and divided enough. An average Nigerian has paid enough already for the buffoonery and idiocy of political touts who have never in their lives sweated for a penny through genuine means.

Take a look at all the LGA chairmen, 'honorables,' governors, and presidents - what you see is a bunch of schemers who're always fighting for self-preservation and feeding fat off saint and sinners alike. It's either they served in the military or under the military, or they were commissioners, permanent secs under one govt or the other, which is why the notion of impeaching GEJ or even 2015 election, in my opinion, is laughable. I sincerely believe the whole NA and executive arm should be sacked and replaced with the Judiciary for the time being. I checked the take-home pay for the legislative and executive arm of major countries about a week ago and I concluded that the only moral and temporary solution for now is to have the judiciary oversee Nigeria for the time being. Nigeria is operating a govt of elected criminals and no where is this more self-evident than Abuja's Aso rock and NA.

For NA members and executive cabinet to gulp the amount they currently receive every month and still have the gumption to call themselves progressives and democrats is an unconscionable betrayal of the poor.
dunt mind dem, though gej loves power and money which he has shown d world with his decision to contest again desite his incompetences bt who among those greedy lots hv the right to cast the stone they are worse than he is and by God's grace their plan wont yield..perhaps wat dey wnt is sambo atleast he is a northerner..as for me rather the devil that u knw dan the angel you dont..nice writeup though

Do you now understand why I wrote 300k in the post..
Thanks

Lol, this amounts to the quivering plea of a racist individual or someone with Indian or Ghanaian friends hiding in the background. The plea essentially says- 'please don't invest in Nigeria, Nigeria is rising fast and might become -for the first time a powerful nation run by people of African origin. We the British and other friends of closet racists, have spent decades demonizing them, praising others in Africa above them and yet they are about to ram all or negative predictions down our sanctimonious throats please to don't let them.
