With this new regulations bill, all the social media providers are now under strict directive to ensure nobody makes or post derogatory comments/materials via social media against any private individuals, institutions, government and etc. By this, UK government is trying to or has technically sent a clear signal that even as you have the freedom of speech, there's a limit to what you can say.
