Uruguay goalie saves Tevez's penalty. Uruguay scores again. Argies 2 - 3 Uruguay |
Argie scored again. Suarez the big toothed bastard cheater against Ghana also scored for Uruguay |
Messi almost scored in the last minutes of extra time. Now for penalties. They're in Quarterfinals phase already? I didn't get to watch any previous matches. Not much coverage other than the Spanish language channel. Pens: Messi scored. Forlan scored. Argentina 1 - 1 Uruguay |
Watching Copa America match between Argentina and Uruguay. Looks like it's going to Penalties. Now in overtime. |
I'd like to see this poster banned! ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=431856 BTW, What is the "pick pin position"? It better be clean! ![]() |
Katsumoto: ![]() #*@$%^&! I was just being merciful! Out of humour comes wisdom. My very pointed comments are gems wrapped in a riddle. No new thing to add that hasn't been said by others, that is, those able to see beneath the surface. pfft! So long. ![]() naijababe:Whatever! ![]() |
Hi, Ola2. Into my mind pops a warning of Sun Tzu's - something about . . . having the nerve for a protracted battle. ![]() hahahahaha at the new improved tougher Dapo/Eku/Ekt-Bear. ![]() Naijababe, do carry on. I don't wish to derail your thread. Anyway, I don't deal with Baby Katzs*; I take it up with the Daddy of them all. * I use the term cos I see you get a huge kick out of it. P.S. No worries, Ola. I can take Bear any day. I just pick my battles. He's a young'un. ![]() |
@ KatsumotoI don't give 2crud what y'all are doing. I'm more concerned about the whereabouts of the incomparable NLDer called Kilode?! ![]() So, carry on. BTW, I don't take no stinking pills. 101% Natural, the African way. What about you? I do hope you're happy with all the new friends you're making lately. I sit here and wait for you to cross the line. Go on. Start advocating for the separation of the country and I'll turn your foreign arse in so fast! You'll probably walk though, but the rest of the Baby Katzs will quickly learn the meaning of the words "treasonous offenses." |
Katsumoto:Who's we? Doggone foreigner! ![]() |
Wow! You all drank the Katsumoto kool-Aid™. Or is it the cult of the Afghan-Japanese? You guys should lay off the SLS man, and take your Baby Katz cult to where someone might give a darn. ![]() |
Don't know much about genetics, but if the at-risk wife carrying the fetus poses no threat, why not get egg from a non-risky donor and have the wife carry the husband's baby. That's what I'd do. Definitely would marry the love of my life; just won't put the children at risk. That would mean no children from my ovaries, but if you carry a child to term, who's to know. . . ? Sounds complex? Sorry, I can't make it any clearer than that. ![]() |
What's with all the whining, head shaking and hand wringing? Eko proper is an island! When the smallest of floods happen in the "developed world" they quickly declare a sate of emergency. You wanna blame Fashola for the heavy rains? Anyway, all you carpetbaggers can get the heck out and go back where you came from. While you're packing up your crap, quickly send an SOS to your cousins telling them not to come either! ![]() Eko o ni ba'je. . . when we keep the haters away. |
lefulefu:So the married women in your family can't keep their pants on? Pele o. |
Am I the only one worried that Kilode has been abducted by aliens? ![]() |
GenBuhari:I somehow missed this thread the first time around. Since I like history-themed threads, I'll reference it in my thread about Nigeria's precolonial history. ![]() |
Let's give her a special award! Woman honours her marriage vows. How special! OP, please don't ever again in your life post a passage that includes the phrase "butt-grabbing," without showing pictorial evidence. ![]() |
trekkie:Nice. Thoughtful, eloquent, kind. |
chamber2:Oga Katsumoto, I hope you're happy. Anyway, Ndu_Chucks is a poster I was aware of, but hadn't much opportunity to read until now. He and BetaThings are doing a great job for the defense. ![]() Kats, Please don't jump on me. I'm just half-observing. The only thing worse than taking Economics is, actually TALKING about economics. Macro Micro indeed. ![]() |
No. Seriously, the thread was locked. I made a post there at 9:50pm and went to modify it right away and received an error message reading "thread locked. . . " Then I made my post here at 9:55pm. |
I actually meant to add "wouldn't use in a formal setting. . ." The original sounded kinda elitist, you know. I mean, I do use "ain't" and other questionable slang. ![]() So, is your thread nearing its sell-by date? School session has indeed ended? I meant no harm. lol. Hey, you're welcome in my thread any ol' time. No rules to break. No theme. No end in sight. ![]() We'll see you there! ::Waves:: |
Ola2, your thread is locked. Someone jealous of you? ![]() |
ola olabiy:Yes, it is now in many (online) dictionaries. But, I wouldn't use it unless I choose to present myself as semi-literate. ![]() |
![]() I don't wish to speak for Nairaland. I was stating an opinion and addressing a broader issue. We'll let NL/owner express their reasoning for relocating this particular thread of Katsumoto's. |
Katsumoto:I understand your annoyance, Katsumoto. I felt similarly when an active thread of mine kept getting moved. But, Seun previously explained (surprisingly humbly, I might add) that interest/participation in the Business/Money section is waning and he is attempting to reinvigorate it. Eku, I've heard and felt that before too - the point about topics not receiving the proper attention if they are not in certain sections. This is why lots of threads that truly belong in Sexxuality are in Romance and lots of threads that belong in other places including Foreign Affairs are started in Politics. I am coming around to the idea of redistributing popular topics to other areas that may be applicable. Eku and Katsumoto just killed over, I know. ![]() |

ola olabiy:Jarus koo, Cactus nii. I don't pay attention to that one. ![]() Ola Ola = Wealth Wealth. (Ola can mean other things too; I can't think of it right now. lol.) It's all in the name, amigo. Wealth is universally interpreted as riches, financial ones. But Wealth also means different things to different people. When you're ill, health is definitely priceless, isn't it. Anyway, I'm just being literal with ya moniker, not speculating on your wallet or hoping you're loaded. Where is Kilode?! He has been missing for TWO WEEKS! What have they done with him? Where is my horrible friend, Naijababe? ![]() |

ola olabiy:Ola Ola, A boy so rich they named him twice. ![]() You know that's a song, right? [flash=500,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVLLYNZrzoc[/flash] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVLLYNZrzoc BTW, what are you doing in the other thread? You're scaring me. lol. Remember my warning about drunk-posting? ![]() |
Wolfdogman started that Ivy League thing. There are no Ivy League UNIs in SE USA. At least not where I am. I don't want to be a Poser, you know. ![]() |
Trusty. It's not a word. Choices are "trusting" or "trusted" or "trustworthy." That's my contribution to this topic, for now. Please correct me if the above is incorrect. ![]() |
