But perish the thought of suicide; life is a challenge, you have to face it, and be stronger. There are no testimonies without trials, and you life is not an hopeless life. Be strong and courageous and determine to get over this phase. Have faith in God, this too shall pass.

It breaks my heart to see and hear of people suffering needlessly, especially if I'm not able to help as much as I'd like.

It's terrible that the OP had tried hopelessly to contact government agencies and charitable organisations but ended up with nothing. This could happen to anyone - and it has happened to many!

I had started a thread about lawmakers, etc. I think my own little contribution would be to update it regularly from now on, to include all our representatives, so that we know who to harass go to when we need their assistance - whether they will help is another matter. That is why they are there anyway - to represent their constituencies. I am sick of it. They need to know their first duty is to the people.
