chineloSA: They just came so strong for my liking. Why bath with a paper?? Really, I still don't understand.

Yes, they proposed. Old men na. sad sad sad Why would I want to be a 2nd or 3rd wife. I am very jealous oo. cheesy cheesy cheesy
But that was not the point, they wanted to steal me from my boyfriend then. when they knew him and he was part of the congregation they visited. How pathetic can an Ajhaji go. So that shaddy behaviour made me view them in a different way.

Besides I cant join their life of poverty, as an Alhaji, living on handouts!!! No ways. undecided undecided
You sound terribly ignorant.

So, Alhajis are beggars where you live? I doubt they would have come on to you if they didn't feel you welcomed their attention.

I know an American girl who was complaining to me about a Nigerian (Christian) guy. She was having a conversation of a sexual nature with him. When he told her he was interested in having a girlfriend even though he was married, she continued to entertain his advances - asking him all kinds of things and flirting with him. That's a test from a Naija guy to see what kind of woman you are. "Girlfriend/mistress," not even wife. She even invited him to her house and then called another boyfriend of hers, a married guy to come over and scare him away. She was just playing with all these men. . . and one day she paid an expensive price for it. Don't lead men on. They have feelings too.

undecided I really thought Arsenal would try and make this interesting by rallying to at least equalise. Oh well. Not easy to beat ManU on home turf.

ManU 1 - 0 Arsenal.

Match ended Sunderland 1 - 0 Man City.

Good result for Sunderland. Not sure if that moves them from the bottom of the table.

ManU host Arsenal next.
25 minutes in, both 0-0.

I need to search online for La Liga matches, mehn. Premier League just doesn't have the skills. undecided They're lucky there are so many English language speakers all over the world. angry

S'okay. I like weirdos. wink MPD tinz. tongue

shymexx: @the bolded - Fifa only allows 3 senior players for Olympics and that's Under-23. However, the same rule isn't applicable to other under-age championships.

Also, the European under-21 competition is different from Fifa's. In Europe, players a year or two older than 21 are allowed to play at the under-21 championships. However, the only time they comply with Fifa's rules is when it comes to the under-20. Under-21 in Europe is more or less like the mini national team. I guess that's why the organise these competitions just to keep the young players busy.
huh huh huh huh My brain just melted. Thanks a bunch, you hear? embarassed

I don't want to create another one.

We'll discuss all other matches happening today. That is, the ones that don't already have individual threads.

Inter-resting.

Most lawyers that get disbarred in the U.S., it's due to playing with clients (settlement) money. That's why they have special escrow rules for handling client's funds. It is very rigorously enforced. If you ever get reported for such, kiss your lawyers license goodbye. No state bar will let you in until you've resolved the issue. Just hope it's a temporary disbarment.

FYI, former president Clinton was permanently disbarred. cool For lying under oath. That sleazebag. angry

I wonder what your room is going to look like with all kinds of pictures and wall papers. undecided
I post pics cos:
- Sometimes a page full of words can be boring and hypnosis-inducing;
- When I'm too lazy to write - a picture is worth a thousand words sometimes;
- To entertain the brethren;
- It's a new age, the age of multimedia. There's no need to only write words anymore. You can post a song, a picture, or whatever catches your fancy.

Oh, before I forget. . . Shymexx, you so weird! undecided

2nd half with Newcastle leading 1-nil.

My favourite Geordie ever is also my favourite football commentator. Too bad he's not easy to find on TV. He was great on GOl-TV as the regular La Liga play-by-play guy.

Front page? I couldn't even find a thread!

The only one I saw, in the Sports section, was talking about how to watch online. It got hidden while I was posting in it. grin That's why I created a thread.

Anyway, what other Futbol sites do is to create a general match-day thread for all the other clubs and matches that aren't "popular" enough to warrant their own thread. undecided That's a tradition we can initiate.

Ethiopia are the only barrier standing between us and qualification for World Cup 2014.

So, this guy Shola Ameobi was a Newcastle hero? I've heard the name.
What's he doing now?
What sort of name is Ame-Obi? Are they Yoruba or Edo?
I always thought the name was Amo-ebi. Even that was not easy to translate.

I had no idea the family dominates English sports?
Here's another brother that signed with Newcastle, and a sister, and others.
Nice family picture.

But well even dat serial sinner believes in d existence of a supreme being
So even if he is immoral - a person who steals, lies and maybe even molests women or children, it's OKAY, as long he CLAIMS to believe in the Holy Trinity? But, an honest decent non-believer is the spawn of Satan? Like you said, it is your opinion. No argument. wink
