Seun, are you going to add a 4th mod? I think this section can use it. THis thread is over a month and half old and 33-pages (of volunteers) long! The section can use it.

It's already been decided by Seun that no one is going anywhere. But I have to respond to you late, because I wasn't able to closely follow all the posts in the last half a dozen-pages.

Ngwakwe: Why can't you see that all these calls to disengage Sexkillz and Afam are coming from people with related interest and line of thought.

From the little I've noticed of you, you conduct yourself with grace and maturity.

I hope you are not assuming the guy is some ethnic hero or tribal champion, and turn this into a us-versus-them issue. It's fine if you have no issues with his moderating style, but not everyone disenchanted with him is motivated by any racial or ethnic prejudice. Thanks a bunch.

Seun: Oam4j is a fantastic moderator in every way, but he was ineffective against tribalistic trolls like Desola.
That's why I had to appoint sexkillz and afam4ever to help him with what seems to be his area of weakness.

Good for him and all of you for the anti-tribalism fight, if genuine.

Those of us who have never been banned and are not Tribalists can see the issue goes beyond that.

Seun: it is clear that sexkillz needs to change the way he talks to Nairaland members. His inflammatory comments are a serious liability to Nairaland.

By consensus, it is agreed that Sexkillz is a very hardworking moderator, who deserves to be promoted to another section, by Seun, for his dedication to the cause! Free him from the tedium of the awful section called Politics!

Your issue with Afam is a slight misunderstanding and can be resolved. No shaking, sis.

OAM4J: Well Seun will not just remove us until there are enough evidence that we are not doing what we are suppose to do. The only option you have is to compel us to resign voluntarily. But the big question is who are the replacements you want us to leave the section for? Are sure they will do better job than us in the long run?

I also support Naptu2, I even got in touch with him off the forum to see if he will change his mind. But he has real and genuine excuses why he wouldn't want to take up the job and I respect his reasons.

I personally don't mind resigning if most members here have no confidence in me and there is someone else that can do a better job. Also if am to resign Seun will want me to recommend someone to take over. So if you have lost all confidence in me and want me to resign; do you know someone who can do a better job than me?

SMH. You're like the football coach who stirs the pot to distract attention from his scandalous players. A la Mourinho or SAF. Gimme a break! NO one here has asked that you leave.

Finding a fourth mod would be fine, if you're all overworked. But that does not resolve the tedious ongoing issue of current moderator(s).

BTW, there is a long list of people who have expressed interest to be mods. Despite Desola's recommendations, Isale_Gan2 and Naptu2 have not.

I'll be succinct:

If you impose a moderator in a section that holds no interest to him, said moderator will almost always consider complaints and requests as an hindrance, a distraction, and will react irritably, rudely and impatiently to posters with genuine issues.

Do the needful and reward your "hardworking" mod with another section that holds his interest and give us a mod who actually cares about Politics! Before people get tired of this revolving tired annoying insane ridiculous childish unending exercise!

Hence, technically, u'll count the 8 boxes at both sides and d 8 small boxes inset in the middle cos they are the only proper squares left.
