I disagree but I respect your opinion and I want to make bold to say you will say I said so in 4 years.
If we believe things Will change one day it's foolish to then shoot down every idea that's aimed at making change happen....we are only deceiving ourselves
You're free to disagree grin, I also respect your optimism, not shooting any idea down, but I'll tell you to follow patterns and act with it

Example: see the difference between the rates €-₦ in late December 2022 and Today, is this the sign of a progressive economy?

Also, remember that majority of the political elites and highly placed Nigerians have secured the lives of their families and relatives abroad, and they have close proximity to the west(medical check up - abroad, vacation - abroad, children education - abroad), so normal citizens can go to hell it's none of their concern

Take it easy on yourself.

Is it only Nigeria that's going through tough times presently?
The whole world is bleeding.
Almost every where in the world presently people are suffering more than they did in 2022.

Nigerias issue is compounded by years of neglect of the masses by the political class.
BAT is trying to turn the fortunes of this great nation around... Let's give him a chance at it
Apart from war torn countries which whole world is bleeding? You better don't deceive yourself with that statement, no matter how stiff the economy in developed nations there are measures already in place to protect vulnerable citizens

Of course political class will always be united grin come rain and come shine, that's why they jump from one political party to the other, or align with opposition party for personal interest like the notorious Wike, but look at we Nigerian citizens blindly picking sides instead of standing up against them, it's even easier to get help from your fellow Nigerian than Nigerian government, but some Id*ts will fight tooth and nail to defend criminals

There is nothing BAT is turning around grin the earlier you realise this and amend accordingly the better for you

the same tinubu you supported all throught the election and became a tribal lord with hate and bile for?? what changed bro??Nigeria will only grow when we manage our emotion maturely and make decision based on reality and logic
Maybe you should listen to Fela tracks, you'd understand that there is no growth coming from anywhere, there is nothing happening now that did not happen back then, it's just more in the limelight because of social media, Jaga jaga was released during Obj's regime and that was under a different political party, is it not worser now?
PoliticsRe: Do These People Really Love Or Belive In Nigeria? by isArray:
For the illiterates It's Stockholm syndrome, For the educated, they think they might get favour from the government one way or the other through contracts and all of that, so they suffer offline and wash the government online, except you're well connected(business moguls and elites) you're never getting anything tangible from the Nigerian government(maybe Npower 30k grin), even if you are a card carrying member, at the end of the day you're just a pawn in the grand scheme of things

Ukraine is a sovereign country, so what's the problem?

The fleeing it's a typical black man behavior. Black people, Nigerians inclusive always go the easy route. We are despise around the world because we can't create or fix shiit. We only chose to consume in an already prepared table.

Turkey has been in economic crisis for more two years now. They have be experiencing hyper inflation, currency devaluation and high cost of goods and services. The economic tumoil in Turkey is bigger than what that of Nigeria.

Turkey inflation rate - 61%

Nigeria inflation rate - 28.9%

Japa is not "trending" in Turkey, but it's trending in Nigeria. That's the difference between a black man and other races.

Hardship is everywhere, it's only dvmb people that doesn't know this.
I don't think you should compare Nigeria and Turkey, Turkish people are moving in troops to Germany and other economic stable countries in fact they dominate most territories in Berlin

PoliticsRe: FG Lists Tinubu’s Achievements In 2023 by isArray: 5:36am On Dec 22, 2023
Nigeria problems are just in a backlog, each government are always failing to clear it in their tenure, how long will Nigerians continue to live like this?

Problems
- Terrible inter-state roads
- Erratic power supply
- Poor salaries for government workers
- High crime rate
- Poor bilateral relationships

How difficult is it to just focus on these problems that are affecting the masses?

Kenochi:
In as much as this Government reserves the right to blow its trumpet,I will leave the average Nigerian to either agree or disagree with the achievement of this government
As far as I am concerned, this Government's Biggest achievement is giving the Dangote Refinery crude oil to begin the long exercise of local refining
I am very positive that the last administration didn't have any political will to allow that Refinery work, even though it was commissioned under them
Mr President put down his foot and damned the consequences, today the Refinery will receive 6 million barrels of crude oil worth 420 million dollars to commence operations

The City Boy has by this action broken the back of the powerful cabal that held Nigeria hostage for 30 years through petroleum importation
This singular action will save Nigeria close to 6 billion dollars in revenue and the NNPCL will now remit money into the Federation account thereby freeing our foreign exchange

I am confident that the naira will soon begin a strong rally against the dollar, it is economic sense to understand that the variables at play
Once the refining starts, there will be enough currency to move around the economy and this will greatly strengthen our balance of trade

Check my signature for properties around the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub
Tbh, this is nothing to an average Nigerian, how does this improve the living conditions of an average Nigerian? I'm talking of the common man

What environment is more morally dysfunctional than one in which they are confused about their gender and sexuality?

If you want a functional environment, you should've migrated to eastern Europe
You just jumped into conclusion grin I don't even fancy the US because of work life balance, it's a fuckingg capitalist society, standard of living is not that great in most eastern European countries, I live in central Europe by the way

Travel the world with Nigeria passport that has no value. Even with the money, they will still treat them like criminals at major airports of the world due to their green passport.

Who really wants to travel the world needs a better passport to do that. That's why I laugh at some of these anti-japa folks that won't let us that want to travel breathe with their usual lame point of make money in Nigeria. Nigeria is a good country.

Good country my foot!

As for me, I am after my future dual citizenship for me and my 2 to 3 unborn kids.
Yeah, my USA visa was rejected when I was in Nigeria, I got it in a week when I relocated, I got my UK visa in a week too, I am also doing this for family, I don't want to raise kids in a dysfunctional environment.

In terms of weather, food and nightlife Nigeria is a good country grin

Stop this nonsense, enjoy your abroad in peace...the wealthiest Nigerians are here. You went there for greener pastures, stop shaming others. Poor people exist everywhere...some just like abroad because it looks finer, going abroad won't make you one of the top richest Nigerians if you don't have what it takes...so many abroad are managing, they can't even help their own family, always online abusing their country. You are the image of Nigeria abroad. Get sense.
What image? Is it the federal government that's settling bills here? grin Or you think we will be here discussing japa if the state of the nation was okay? People are trying to survive in -1, -2 degrees here grin, I curse the government anytime I have to step in the cold weather, they should give us stable economy and better living conditions, many will return back, but since 1960 we are still telling the same story. Living in a sane environment is important for one's mindset, and Nigeria today can't offer that.

It's coping mechanism. Travel the world on a Nigerian passport where you will need visa for almost every country lol. I remember telling my Spain from Spain that I will like to visit and she was like I should come to basque country where she's from and i was like I will need her to send me an invite so I can do a visa and she was like what's a visa. Girl has never seen a visa in her life before. grin grin grin
Exactly grin, people buying the Carribean passports know what they are doing, imagine having to prepare a lot documents because you want to prove that you're not an illegal traveller grin and still get rejected

Bros you are lucky you made the move in that 2020 o. The points now are unattainable. Even studying in Canada doesn't guarantee PR like before. Here in Chile, they are voting on Sunday to change the constitution and immigration is one thing they want to change. In the Brazil thread, they mentioned that the embassy has stopped issuing visa till further notice. Going forward immigration will get insanely difficult. Even with money you can't go anywhere.
This is why I laugh at Nigerians that say they don't want to japa they just want to make money in Nigeria and travel the world grin, even the elites have residency somewhere else should in case things turn upside down in Nigeria
