One of the most toughest city for foreigners when you're planning to stay.l was first in Duren, then,Alsdorf and Aachen.Certainly, the best thing to do, is to have a business of your own when you arrive here never plan to be employed by anyone, you would be frustrated.Wishing you all the best. You can connect me if you're able to take the bull by the head. Life is a journey. My take: if you don't understand German and you are living outside the main cities: Berlin, Munich, Hamburg you would struggle to get by with other people |

princeabdul: What’s good governance ? And how do you want demand for it ? I assume this a genuine question Good governance to me is when the minority in the society have the access to basic infrastructure/needs, a society where quality healthcare is accessible to all, a society where there is the ease of doing business, companies won't have to burn millions on diesel, a society that places high value on vocational training, a society where the government workers, enforcement agencies and security forces are being compensated well, a society where laws are being enforced for the common man and the well to do man. My list is endless but this is what I can think of now How do you demand it - it's not straightforward, but it's important to always hold the government accountable, they shouldn't be seen as some alpha and omega, ideally there should be a medium where the people in government can directly communicate with the populace(I think Seyi Makinde is doing this already) but it can start with expressing displeasure with whoever is representing your constituency |

Do you think they are normal? Lori lo it's best to ignore people like that, he/she is probably trolling intentionally, if you are born with a sliver spoon, or if you are directly related to a political elite or if you are plucking money from a tree I can understand, but if you are working for your money in this current Nigeria then you should know every government decision is crucial to your finance and you should not treat it like it is child's play |

What is embarrassing? Even Trump claim that the election that unseat him wasn't free and fair. Support your candidate with your full chest and stop hiding behind technicalities. Okay, if you are referring to the USA can you reference a post were ballot was being snatched? I don't have any candidate to support, elections are over. Only hoping that Nigerians demand better from current administration even though I don't live there |

Oh please, the concerned parties with the evidences are already facing themselves in court, also it's so shameful and embarrassing that the country can't conduct free and fair for all elections in this modern age. |

Nahunger: They prefer to blame village people, Spirits, evil spirits, their parents and neighbours instead.
They believe everything is as a result of not serving God purely so they will rather pray than work or seek their rights..
Both Muslims, Christian etc It's a useless effort to pray for what the government is meant to solve - unemployment, good roads, electricity, public parks, primary health care, affordable transport system, international relations, ease of doing business, stable economy |

But do you accept that everyone has the right to make choice? Honest question, are you proud of the rigging that was carried out in the last elections? I'm not fan of any political party by the way, I also don't believe in being a fan of any political leader, they are their to serve and make lives better |

MemoriesAndMe: Introducing and promoting poverty is a popular control method in politics. There is power in numbers and most of the poor are what the politicians need, so keeping them poorer will improve their chances of winning.
When 100 people haven't been able to eat for days and someone promises them a loaf bread for their voters card, they tend to comply. That's what's happening and it happens during all elections in Nigeria. True, it's the same thing most religious organisations do in Nigeria, they keep selling hope to the poor |

CondenseMilk: The British knows that Nigerians will fight logahead with each other when they are packed together like this.
Which would finally result to it's underdevelopment.
Compare Nigeria when it was under a regional system and now!
They come and preach unity in tribal-diversity to you people and all that nonsense but when you go to their country you have only one constitution and that's the English (one tribe) constitution which is also built on one religion (Christianity).
The moment Britain officially recorgnises another religion into it's constitution, it's downfall would be next. Very solid point 👏🏿 |

CondenseMilk: It's called tribal & religious supremacy in Nigeria.
Every tribe and religion wants to take the leadership mantle even if it's representative is handicapped.
The British was very smart at it, that's why they packed all the hundreds of tribes together. This looks like it, but the beauty of this is that every tribe gets to suffer the outcome of a bad policy |

It's very confusing when the masses(people at the bottom of the chain) defend politicians that are meant to serve the people, it's okay if there good works are being commended and it will be glaring because people will see and feel it, but why do people defend those that have meted hardship on them? It's understandable if some people are being paid to do this, but I'd like to know what the others stand to gain. |
