rasie: The thing is:i'm scared shitless right now. For the past few months I've been having a monthly series of flu sickness. I mean every month for over 5months now. The one I'm currently experiencing now has just got me very much scared. Below are the things I'm experiencing now: - Flu(whooping cough and catarrh) - Sleepless nights - Loss of appetite - Weight loss - Body vibration - Tiredness - Stooling (Diarrhea) - Headache - Fever I've read about the fact that most of the above are possible symptoms of the hiv virus and anytime I think of the possibility of me being (i can't even mention it) ,i just feel like dying. Yes I've been living a very promiscuous lifestyle and its more reason for me to be scared of doing a test. Although I've done it before in 2014 and it was negative but since then, there have been a lot of sexcapades. Which brings me to my question directed to doctors or health practitioners : "Is there any other sickness that can be related to those symptoms above apart from Hiv? " To those with the virus already I'd like to ask: "Did you experience something like that before you were confirmed as positive? " Ps: I treated malaria last month by the way. Pss: For all those that will eventually advise me to get a hiv test, save your advise. When last did you do yours? Yes i know that the only way to be sure is to get tested but c'mon guys, una know how e be na. Many ailments present with such symptoms..being that some of them have been recurrent my advise will be that you visit your doctor, let him take a detailed history which will enable him get to the root of the matter. In doing this your doctor will subject you to a series of tests, a retroviral screen inclusive. There are many differentials to this. It is better to know your status than to live a life of assumptions. The earlier you do this, the better. Mind you there are deadlier diseases than The RVD. Go visit a hospital. All will be well |

Toks2008: Nice question?
When I was growing up I usually watch indigenous movies and I noticed that many times the wife usually disagrees with the hubby but there is this calm and respectful manner they table their disapproval and at the end the man usually flows with them.
Olowo ori mi, oluwa mi, ade ori mi, my darling, sweet heart...are the magic words they start with and the man will just calm down to listen but in a situation where the wife just uses a high tone to disagree then wahala dey come be that.
No man wants another man as a wife in a sane world. spoken very well. Naturally, men have "ego" and are built to respond to a woman who understands how to go about things without smashing their ego |

Sleekbaby: I don't just know what to comment so as not to offend people but my advise to guys is not to depend on women totally, look for something that will be giving you money no matter how small, God created men to be the head and as such we women look up to them to provide no matter how rich we are we value that small money they give us.
No matter the extent of our love for you immediately we notice that you no longer have things will start changing is only few that will still accord you that respect.
I don't want to judge anyone, I pray they settle, I love the couple, to err is human and to forgive is divine. May the good Lord take charge. True Talk |

360metrosports: Mrs Omotayo Yemisi Akinwale got married in November 2012 then took-in and had 2 miscarriages. She was pregnant for the third time in August 2013,her husband later traveled to France in October 2013 since then she has been alone but at first everything seemed fine until after 9 months which extended to 1yr 4months; then her husband's family stood up against her, she went for scan & the scan didn't show baby but it showed there was something in her stomach, that was when trouble started in her husband's family
After the scan result, her hubby stopped calling that she lied to him, people started throwing stones at her but the pastor of her church who happened to be her husband's mentor, (Pastor Temitope Ojomo & Pastor James Olusegun) stood by her & some other church member. Infact God alone is worthy, God has been faithful to her, He didn't leave me throughout my troubled time. It was God, now she's healthy & her baby is pretty cute. The pastor told her husband & he said he isn't interested but she said ""i know that God who didn't leave me since 2013 won't leave now. My baby came to this world on the 19th of April. To God be the glory"

HungerBAD: I wrote it before.
And i will keep repeating all day, the PDP has created a monster in Rivers State. A very bloodthirsty monster in the form of Wike, who will Kill, Maim, Destroy and Behead his way to holding on to Power.
To those urging him on, this has gone beyond any party affiliations here. What Wike is doing in Rivers State if not curtailed, will be designated a "Genocide" by the United Nations.
Does Wike even know that nothing last forever? This Wike i know will end up in Jail sooner than he expects.
President Buhari, please declare a State Of Emergency in Rivers State before Wike kills everybody in that State. I think the game plan is a state of emergency... The government just needed enough evidence/reason for that to be carried out. As for wike and amaechi they don't fit to be leaders in this country.. Nigeria has to face facts, both leaders are alike and they deserve to be punished. This is embarrassing |

Lagusta: You see, most people don't realize how medicine and surgery is until they experience it themselves....
My colleague mowah has told u just the academics that go with it, he didn't tell you anything about the responsibilities that flow with it....
Do you want to talk about the lectures (from 8am-6pm everyday, no break, sometimes some profs can hold lectures at 10pm, and you won't say crap) the practicals (during preclinical) and the ward rounds/clinics (during clinical)....
What of the crazy exams, answering 800 objective questions in 3hrs, then coming back that same day to answer all 17essay questions..... Even before that, you write exams nearly every month.....
During ward rounds, you are abused, castigated, told that you can never make it in life, you can never be a doctor, in front of your patient....

joborskill: I still don't trust these products going by the antecedents of easterners at producing most things with low standard materials. I won't be surprised if these cars pack up in maximum of 2years. Its better to stick to foreign cars that we've tested and trusted. There are other ways to grow the economy than put Nigerian lives at risk all because an Igbo man is desperate to make money. The senate needs to ban innoson for now Even the BMW, MERCEDES BENZ, TOYOTA, FORD et al cars which we crave for started from somewhere and over the years became what u have now... It is still good to encourage innoson. Mind you, when innoson motors realizes that the people have decided to patronize its products, it will do all to keep the market going... Let us stay positive about this and move Naija forward |

He never makes his common sense on the floor of the Senate, but disturbs our peace here on twitter. Little wonder someone said he looks like Obama but reasons like Obanikoro. I think he still makes common sense anyhow u look at it. How many of the issues raised on the floor of the Senate house have been addressed? He takes to his twitter handle and a lot happens... Aba made goods are now trending, people now look inwards for solutions to our ailing economy and country.. I seriously don't think he reasons like obanikoro..
