You are very stupid. All states have equally beautiful and ugly women. Is it because Yoruba girls don't prostitute themselves in local dog shows called paegents? Talk about your sisters and mother 's body odor. Idiot. Afterall the girl that won miss world was dark skinned and not Igbo. Sucks to be as ret*arded as you. Ugly thing rating beauty

Went well d only hitch was trying to upload thumbprint which I eventually did

And I realised VISA card was not accepted.

Bonus: when it got to states visited.. I fill all states except enugu a/ibom delta (state of origin) and ekiti

Cc haywire1 xcozee gazaliah 2el keribaby isiabuncha
My own didn't take up to 5minutes, I was shocked sef ...
On that first day I waited to hear people's experiences, their challenges & choices regarding the states they chose so as to plan ahead and decide.

I registered on the third day (10th to be precise)
Arrived at the cyber cafe at exactly 8am, the sales girls been just dey open and sweep the place sef so I was the first customer (Divine Cyber World Choba)
Though I already left school premises years ago, I just made sure I travelled back there to do my registration somewhere on campus (I think its better to register in a cafe on campus)

Everything happened fast, can't even remember when they did my thumb print sef, but concerning that signature scan, I was told u need to be careful so as to remember the exact way in which you signed.
All the states popped up for me o! Even though rumours had it that certain states were filled up before I registered
As for the payment (N3000), just tell the cafe attendant to make the transaction for you and give him or her the cash, it will save you the stress of doing what you don't know and if you eventually have complications, your money don enter lorry cos u can't hold the bank neither can you hold the atm machine.

Finally, despite the fact I selected 3states, I have no intentions of serving in my 2nd or 3rd choice states, I desperately want my 1st choice so as per boy wey no won carry last, I still back am up with better runs o cheesy

Don't blame me, Nigerian government promises can never be trusted.
As an upcoming corper (Prospective A16) Ill advice you do the same smiley

This is amazing, the problem of an average Nigerian is the poor reading habit.
I'm also guilty of this myself, but I'm determined to rediscover the positive nature I possessed during my early school days.

Anyway, I'm graduate of Geography & Environmental Management
Not really related to the geophysicist and petrophysicists of this world but I'm beginning to love the world of geology & other related courses.

Ill take out time to read as much here from Day 1 till date cos I just discovered I've got a long way to go.
Still all about my youth service now but I'd like to learn as much as possible during this time so Ill be useful rather than empty after my 1year of national service.

Big ups to the creator of this thread and all those who have kept it going, the info here is really inspiring and educative smiley

I was just face-booking when I came across this picture, posted by one of my face-book friends. At first I didn't take it serious, but as I began to ponder over it. Some thoughts/questions began to pop up in my brain.
How can some one take his whole time dressing a goat with an attire that most of us attach so much respect to? Knowing fully well the stress and cost of becoming a Corp member in this country of ours.
Does this act not amount to degrading the National Youth Service attire; what have become a childhood dream to many students?
Corp members in the house please what do you think?
I don't want to post the link here, so that I might not be seen as betraying a face-book friend, though some friends here may have come across the same picture.
The message is, “This Which Ya'll Make Difficult Isn't Even Worth It”
Schools and those involved with NYSC should stop making it difficult for graduates to serve with their numerous unnecessary stressing procedures.
I get the message perfectly well, not mad at the dude who carried out this smiley

Good to see UNIPORT made it. Where're all those UI students who always make noise about their institution?

Me, I went to a private uni o, I'm not promoting any school.

On a serious note: who're the British to tell us the best tertiaty institutions on the African continent?! Thunder never fire their papa for that cold island!!! We Africans should've think-tanks to compile this information for our own consumption. We shouldn't wait for the whiteman in his neo-colonial ways to do everything for us - we'd only feed their superiority complex; they already see us as next to animals anyway.
Also, systems of education in both Africa and Europe differ; a more solid reason why they've no reason gauging our educational standards.
The white men always have a way of finding out the smart and not too smart/foolish in Africa.
Probably the rating was based on the performances of African students in britain who usually go there for MSC programs or as a result of what they've seen on the internet but most times, their research findings are near accurate.

I've stopped arguing with Ibadan and Lagos people concerning which school is better, I don big pass rubbish and I'm tired of telling them the truth.
I represent UNIPORT (Geography and Environmental Management U2008) smiley

If Genevieve wanted to marry she would have done so a long time. Where do you people get this idea that women are looking for "husband"?

Do you know how much messages/dates that the average nairaland female user gets weekly?. Even walking down the street gaan sef. It's even easier at parties /clubs/weddings to find a man.
Nigeria is heavily populated ! Most women who are not married usually have a very good reason in Nigeria usually have a solid reason.
Sweetheart, finding a man is different from finding a husband cheesy
Any girl can find a man cos we are easily attracted to women, but not every girl will find a husband who's ready to take care of her responsibilities, raise kids and stay with her for life smiley #Understood ?

The world will come to an end tomorrow, a Christian group has predicted.

The group has told humanity to prepare itself for being "obliterated" by fire as soon as the clock strikes midnight.

The eBible fellowship, an online group for bible study, has published a series of lectures on Why October 7, 2015 is the Likely End of the Worl d.

Chris McCann, who leads the Philadelphia-based group told the Guardian : “According to what the Bible is presenting it does appear that 7 October will be the day that God has spoken of: in which, the world will pass away.”

McCann said that, according to his interpretation of the Bible, the world will be obliterated “with fire”, as God promised not to cause another flood on the scale as that which afflicted Noah.

Although his theories rely on a lot of dodgy maths, McCann's main message is that according to the Bible, the beginning of the process was on 21 May 2011, when God stopped the process of selecting which churchgoers will survive Wednesday’s carnage.

He has now finished the 1,600 day task of deciding which of the non-churchgoers will be taken into rapture - and the rest of us are now doomed.

Learning from earlier mistakes, such as that of his mentor the late Christian DJ Harold Camping, who said the world would end in May and then October 2011, McCann has involved an element of doubt.

“There’s a strong likelihood that this will happen.

“Which means there’s an unlikely possibility that it will not.”

The Facebook group has attracted a lot of people desperate for the world to end.

Onyeka Linnus commented: "Woow ....cant wait remains some hours to go,,how many are prepared? Remember 7th octomber".

But one reader Alan Stanier said what everyone else is thinking: "The Bible has not prophesied October 7, 2015, for the end of the world. Some people, seduced into the sin of pride by the lies of Beelzebub, have chosen to interpret the Bible as prophesying so.

"On October 8th, when the world is still here, they will be shown to be false prophets.

"I would like to think they will confess their sin, and admit their minds are not capable of understanding the Mind of the LORD. But I suspect they will merely choose another date."
This could be us but the world has ended sad

It also confuses the kids ..when a father is from ijaw the mother is from Benin when you ask the kids where are you from ..she says my mum is Benin dad ijaw

You see the confusion and it also makes the kids a bit impure genetically

The only inter tribal I suggest is urhobo + isoko. Benin + ishan. Igbo+ ukwuani or ekpeye, ikwerre. Efik + ananng or Ibibio
.

Igala + idoma. Yoruba + itshekiri or Benin or ijebu or utsen

..others your on your own
Man, you're smart! cheesy

Boils down to what I said earlier, the cultural differences and inability to understand the other man's culture is what is basically causing what people call tribalism.
All these tribes you matched above have similar cultural backgrounds and that's why marriages amongst themselves can be successful smiley

Let me add Hausa + Fulani, Idoma + Tiv, etc
RomanceRe: Minority Nigerian Girls And Yoruba Men! by IsiAbuncha(m): 12:20am On Oct 07, 2015
Noticed there are some Ghanians here, no wonder. Ya'll won't understand the tribal differences in Nigeria
Its not like a war or anything, its just the complete differences in our culture
Secondly, our tribal issues have nothing to do with boko haram, we don't know who those people are and they are obviously not Nigerians, they are cowards disguising to be northerners probably because they are muslims.

Finally, Nigeria is good Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, South-South, Middle Belt have all got beautiful and good women depending on what you want.
Yeah I love women, I can't lie.
But when it comes to marriage, there are so many factors you need to consider so you don't make your kids products of broken homes.
Remember, the human you know is better than the angel you don't know
That's why its a bit safer to marry from your own tribe rather than another because you heard their men/women are nice and bla bla bla smiley
