Dembele should be forgiven
He missed a string of matches due to injure and he's just trying to match the tempo of our game in recent times
he rarely sees game time sef and the match b4 liverpool was his first 90-min match in a very looong time
cheesy You should have just stopped at 'Dembele should be forgiven.'

These excuses aren't it.

We should be having a new younger striker next season and i want to believe the board is working on it.
unless if the formation we used when dembele came in yesterday is supposed to mean something
4-4-2 with messi and dembele up front?
That's if Valverde will still trust Dembele as much as he did before that miss.

It is easy so see how. If EV wins a treble this season he will be the first coach in Barca history to do so. Also, he would have been doing it in his first season, unlike Enrique or Pep.

Let's stop complaining about missed chances.

Mane missed!
Salah's miss was criminal.

They could very easily have made it 3 - 2.

For some moments in the game, Liverpool played us like they were playing a league game against Brighton.

It was an embarrassing sight to behold at our temple camp nou.

This 3 nil scoreline is more than I ever dreamed off, i had expected nothing more than a one goal margin.

Let's be thankful.

If we would blow a 3-0 result against a liverpool side which must field their complete first eleven away to Newcastle this weekend,

Then we do not deserve to win the champions league.
cheesy cheesy We're doing a treble of treble within 10 years. Nothing, I mean nothing, can stop us. Not even Arya can stop this Night King. cheesy

About the miss. If there hadn't been a chance at all for Dembele to miss, we'd have accepted that 3-0 as one of the greatest victories in the victory of Barça, but seeing that miss ruined it for me. angry Ignorance is bliss. I shouldn't have seen it. What pains me more is, he scored a more difficult one against Courtois.

I'm going to pretend as if I didn't notice PFA player of the year refusing to mark Messi 1 vs 1 yesterday.

And they said he's not been dribbled yet. How would he be? When asides pool using 4/5 players to mark Messi, he's never among these 5. The only time he faced Messi, he didn't mark, he was calling on reinforcement.
grin grin Van Dijk played yesterday, as though, not getting dribbled mattered more to him than a win. grin

Bros, everyone in our team does that. Probably that was the instructions given to them by the coach, that guys when you have the ball always make Messi your no.1 priority because he is our best scorer.

Many people, fans included has complained about the #passtoMessi tactics, but it continues to work for us, so let's use it till it stops working.
Bro,Vidal's own yesterday was different. Even, Messi complained. Shoot if you have a clearer chance than Messi.

Barcelona did win the game, but much have to be said about their tactics,it was quite obvious that barcelona parked mourinho's famous bus today, leaving only the maestro messi and luiz suarez upfront for most of the match.
As for those saying ter stegen is way better than allison, all i can say is with 8 men in your 18 yard box,the ball will hardly get to the goaly.
Did you see his saves? Please I'm already angry with that piece of French trash. Don't intensify it.

Well, what right does Sansa have?

The person who cut the deal was the King in the North, who's jurisdiction includes Winterfell.

Morally, Sansa has no locus standi either, as she scribbled around in the dirt, whilst Danaerys fought to defend Winterfell.

Sansa has no right to open her mouth without first asking permission.
Now that TNK and his undeservingly overrated long night are history, and we're back to heritage, and heirdom, and boring monarchy rituals, she does have a right.

The person who negotiated the deal, as far as knowledge and Dany and the North are concerned, isn't a Stark, and should the knowledge go viral, would be stripped of the title of The Warden of The North, which he currently holds. This should invalidate his pre-love, pre-war negotiations (I'm not quite sure how it works in ASoIF world).

Bran, apparently, has nothing for the triflings in politics and succession, so he's off the queue. This automatically legitimises Sansa as the Lady of Winterfell.

As the Lady of Winterfell, she does have every right to request the North's autonomy, if that's what she wants.

It now depends on Daenerys to grant her, and that's after she's won the wars to come, and taken the throne.

But saying she has no right to ask, or even fight, basically because Dany was one of the key players in the defeat of TNK (or because, she had an agreement with the supposed King in the North? Whichever), is farcical.

HanksAnuku:
Saying she could stayed on the island was only an example of the number of options available to her, none of which included going north

The night king is not a factor from POV of Danaerys, Cersei or Euron.

You're sat in your chair as a viewer seeing the bigger picture, and then making the error of assuming the characters can see what you see.

They can't.

In the shows very first episode, Ned Stark executes a guy who had seen and was warning about the threat of the white walkers.

Quite frankly Jon Snow and Bran are the only people who care about fighting the Zombies.Cersei doesn't. Danaerys doesn't. Stannis didn't. The Lord commanders Mormont and Alliser certainly didn't.
Even in the heat of battle, Sansa clearly doesn't.

The white walker horde simply do not figure in most of these people's plans, so a lot of the stuff you've said up there is completely irrelevant from the point of view of many main characters.

Danaerys only went up north to fight for the north aka Jon. Not because she gives a rats arse about zombies

Any other argument is completely facetious
I actually do not disagree with you about her going to the North to fight for a cause that was never within her scope of plans. What necessitated this argument was what someone said about Sansa having absolutely no right to request for the North's sovereignty, simply because Daenerys played a big role in the Salvation of the north, which I disagree with.
TV/MoviesRe: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by Isomerizm(m): 10:21pm On Apr 30, 2019
HanksAnuku:
Danaerys could have very well stayed put on her island which was very defendable. She had 3 dragons, the unsullied and the Dothraki. She could have waited for the zombie horde to find a way to cross the sea and come to her.

She did not need to go to winterfell to 'survive'. She was also not in winterfell by accident. She went to winterfell to support Jon Snows war efforts.

Cersei is chilling now in Kings Landing having decided on that exact strategy.

Danaerys went north to fight for the north sir. Any other argument is facetious at best.
For someone who is so obsessed with the Iron Throne, staying put on said island would be similar to postponing the inevitable.

Without her, and her army, and her dragons, Winterfell would have lost that war, aggrandising TNK's army. Losing Jon, the only other person who can ride a dragon, in the process. Many other potential allies would be lost, too.

TNK would have comfortably moved to wherever in the Seven kingdoms with his army, conquering them with ease. Further, enlarging his army.

Now, The Dany we know wouldn't just sit on an island. She has been obsessed with the Iron Throne since like forever. She'd have to leave her comfort zone to fight for The Throne. This would eternally result in her fighting for the survival she thought she'd bypassed.

LeSulk:
"Your Grace, Winterfell is yours"
I think those were Sansa's exact words in the presence of everyone. She keeps deceiving herself she has a say in the matter. Going back on her words will make her a Lady of no honor. The best she can do is whine and grumble, which I must admit, she's an expert at.
Jon is the warden. He has sealed the fate of the North. It is his verdict that matters, never mind how the showrunners are trying to downplay his importance.

To me, Dany is the biggest loser of the episode. She's lost her right hand man, her Dothraki screamers, a good number of Unsullied and her dragons are wounded. Her position is badly weakened. I wonder what kind of ecstasy Cersei will feel when she hears the news.

Sansa should make no mistake. If she finally has two brain cells to rub together as she wants us to believe, she should know that Cersei will surely come for the North if she defeats the Dragon Queen.
Don't tell me you interpreted that 'Winterfell is yours' as 'We humbly surrender the North to you, to rule for life'.

So Danaerys just randomly happened to be in the north with 2 dragons, and battalions of Dothraki and the Unsullied?

Sansa, is that you? cheesy
I'm not discrediting her selflessness in the Battle of Winterfell. I'm only saying, in retrospect to the pre-battle periods, when we, the audience, cum the characters thought it was over for mankind, and everyone felt they had to fight for survival because of the supposed menace TNK posed. That by fighting for Winterfell, she was actually fighting for survival, too.

Now, I'm asking, if this selfless act of hers, together with the fact that Sansa contributed nothing to the victory, deprives Sansa of the right to fight for the North's sovereignty.

Danny fought for the north, without her army, the north would have fallen
Was there a pre-signed treaty that, when the war finally passed over, Sansa would hand over the North to her, or would be divested of the right to fight for the North's sovereignty?

It wasn't even as if the war was against the North. It was against the living. The North just happened to be the initial war zone, so consequently, Dany fought for survival, not essentially for the North

after Messi, Dembele and Coutinho and maybe Malcolm, the next best dribbler in that team is Semedo. According to some people on this thread, Semedo is a better defender than Roberto, Semedo has won us like 3 or so penalties... How is Semedo underrated then?
Based on what they've played for this team, only Messi and Dembele have been better at dribbling than him.
