And there's something many people are missing here. The NK is actually just a distraction from the main aim of the show. The main aim of this show is not to KILL the NK but the THRONE and who sits on it. Why waste too much time on this while other more pressing issues remain to be attended to?

Now that he's out of the way, we can go ahead with the original purpose of the show-THE THRONE. Maybe then you'll get the big combat you're expecting

How was it possible to take a face of a person and then now have all their attribute"? How was it possible to sneak up on the best fighters without being noticed? You cannot have the details because Arya's powers have never been revealed fully for us to know her weakness. So deal with it.

If the show can keep her powers a secret, why then will they want to give you details as to how she does what she does?

Many people are actually foolish here with the rubbish they've been saying. The night king literally killed almost everyone in this episode. The battle was supposed to happen in the night, thanks to the name night king. He brings an endless night with him. Everyone just believes they are in a position to criticize. The night king is a general. I would do the same when I saw Jon who isn't my target. When I've fresh soldiers, all I have to do is give Jon some work to do, which the night king did, and go for my main target. If not for Arya's last minute save, the night King's tactics was spotless. This is the best episode for me. Those criticizing should go write their own books and publish it.

1) serio farrel in the first season taught her how to be a silent walker by chasing cats. do you knwo how many wights she sneaked on in the library.

I think arya sneaked up the tree and was waiting for the night king to come because she obviously had no time to carve any ww face and she jumped from a height to attack the night king. As for the witch, I think she felt they would die including arya but fearless arya refused to believe so. Remember bran gave arya that valyrian knife it is also possible he knew she was going to do it.
Mehn, this episode got me on ma toes like damn..obviously arya is not too good with aerial battle but she is a pro with one to one, abeg make them upgrade her to Knight joor all the soldiers that survived gats update their CV abeg e no easy. What I don't understand is if the witch is dead. It seems her faith is shaky and she put off her neckpiece and turned to an old woman then fell naked in snow..

Thumbs up to our soldiers of valor :Tormund, Jamie , grey worm , ser Brienne, ser davos, gendry, may the lord of light continue to recharge their battery! they fought endlessly they were ready to die. they deserve gold medals! i honestly felt pity for them when the night king brought back hundreds of ww they previously killed. deep down i knew they cant survive it.

special respect goes to those who fell in battle and who died for others.

I believe I understand what @Gbola5 is trying to say though: that Eddard Stark was a better ruler than Tywin Lannister. And to that I say, WRONG.

Tywin was a terrible man, and a seriously incompetent father. But he was an excellent ruler - as a ruler, you simply cannot afford to have a soft heart. Tywin's results speak for themselves, while Ned got himself outsmarted right under his own nose. Seriously, can you imagine Tywin being outplayed like Ned was?? That is what I mean: the smarts to be a successful ruler.

Thus my statement: I'll rather have a mixture of those two men; Ned for how he managed his home, and Tywin for how he "ruled" the Westerlands (later as Reagent to Joffrey). Ruling is an art, and in the Game of Thrones setting Tywin scores much higher than Ned in rulership.
