Politics › Re: How The Primaries Was Won!! The Politics Of Breaking Atiku's Hold In SE And SS by ISpiksDaTroof: 8:22pm On Dec 11, 2014
pendy79:
The APC primaries has come and almost done but the real strategy and power play with horsetrading, intrigues, permutations and high power politics exhibited by the combination of the Tinubu, Amaechi, Oshiomole, and Rochas Okorocha were the factor behind the victory of Buhari today and not the political strength of Buhari.

THE PLOT.
Atiku has a strong economic and political ties in the South South, he equally is seen as a moderate Muslim to most Igbos who feel more comfortable with him than a Buhari, who have been labeled without an ounce of evidence as an Islamist.

The thinking in the Tinubu's camp and the okorocha's led Progressive Governors forum was that Atiku will surely rip almost the votes in the South South and south east based on his closeness with policitical actors in the region and hence the need to water down that advantage.
it was here, the thought of an Okorocha Candidacy crept up, with Okorocha in the midst, Atiku influence and block vote from both regions will be strongly contested with.
Okorocha is sure of getting the Imo State Governorship Ticket, the fact there is no serious contender for the ticket was a plot in the grand coup of Tinubu and Amaechi with all APC governors in the plan.

The LOBBY AND OBASANJO'S HAND.
Rabiu Kwankwaso was appealed to to step down for Buhari so as not to share the Votes of the North West that ordinarily should favour Buhari but he was adamant on not going out of the race, so when Tambuwal's Emergence came through, the whole political calculation in the Race for the vote of the North West was further thrown into a crazy frenzy, hence the leaders of the earlier mention plot met with Obasanjo to appeal to Tambuwal to pull out of the race, this yielded positive results and played a vital role in the emergence of Buhari today also.

MY WATCH.

Obasanjo too wanted to play the little he felt he could, by the time conscious launch of his memoir MY WATCH, the sole purpose for the launch when it happened was to further dent the image of Atiku before the Delegates and help the course of Buhari. There is no doubt Obasanjo not for selfish reasons this time but in the interest of the Nation feels the country need a Buhari kind of personality to pull the nation through the drama of hopelessness it is presently facing. Forget Kashamu, he is just an excuse. watch out for more clandestine maneuvers in the Obasanjo's camp for Buhari.

In all the winner of todays Primary is not just Buhari, but Nigeria as a country, the APC as a Party because the candidacy of Atiku would have caused the Party more baggage of Corruption-tinted Atiku Ticket which the PDP will take advantage of, this warranted the desperate acts of the governors to see sense with the Tinubu's plan of a fully backed and mobilized Buhari candidacy.

Welcome to Freedom Nigerians, the change we crave is right here, Rejoice and be glad in it.

All permutations are solely mine.
I was going to say: WRONG! WRONG!! WRONG!!!...

But then I saw the bolded.

He has not been able to make a successful transformation from military to civilian and this is a major reason why I feel he won't succeed as a President. You can't force the senate to approve your demands and still, you can't make decisions on your own as against what was obtainable in the military lipsrsealed
But he can at least set a precedent on which Nigerians can work upon in the future which is: You go into public service to serve your country not to enrich yourself. If thats all achieves (accountability, discipline etc) during his tenure, then I'd say he's done more than any of your Presidents has ever done for you.

Given the chance, I think he'll be a wonderful President and shining example as to what leadership entails for generations to come.

APC, PLEASE DO NOT GRANT PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN'S WISH: DO NOT GIVE HIM A DEBATE! HE IS A DROWNING MAN TRYING TO USE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO REDEEM HIMSELF. HE KNOWS HE IS FINISHED. HE HAS THE POWER OF THE MEDIA BACKING HIM. ANY DEBATE WILL BE TO HIS ADVANTAGE, DO NOT OBLIGE HIM. EVEN IF EINSTEIN, BILL GATES AND OBAMA AGREE TO DEBATE AGAINST HIM ON APC'S BEHALF, DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRICK. LET HIM GO DEBATE THE RAPPER DBANJ, AGAIN.

APC WILL "LOSE" THE DEBATE EVEN IF THEY WIN. HE'S FINISHED. LET HIM DROWN HIMSELF, DO NOT GIVE HIM AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECOVER.

Politics › Re: EXPOSED; Buhari Part Of The Conspiracy That Killed Ken-sarowiwa by ISpiksDaTroof: 8:29pm On Dec 10, 2014
Mekateka:
In Ken-sarowiwa's last speech, He was credited with the statement below:

"The military do not act alone, they are supported by a gaggle of politicians, lawyers, judges, academics and businessmen. All of them hiding under the claim that they are only doing their duty".

Mohammed Buhari was integral part of Sani Abacha's regime as PTF Chairman. Which indicate a close romance between Buhari and the late tyrant Sani Abacha.

Before the execution of Kensarowiwa and other Ogoni leaders, notable Nigerians and international communities cried out against the judgement past on the 8th November, 1995 by Sani Abacha's Provisional Ruling Council (PRC), to hang the Activists. The voice of Mohammed Buhari was not heard.

Two days later, 10th November, 1995, Kensarowiwa and others were killed. The execution provoked international outrage and resulted in Nigeria's suspension from the Commonwealth of Nations.

In spite of the massive criticism of Sani Abacha's government, Mohammed Buhari was enjoying his fellowship with the regime without a single word of critic from him against the injustice on the Activists, Ogoni land and the entire Niger/Delta people.

Birds of the same feather flock together. To Mohammed Buhari what Sani Abacha did was very just.
But Chief Ikemba Odumegwu Chukwuemeka Ojukwu was the Abacha Govt witness to the murder of Ken Saro-Wiwa. Not only did he traverse the world (before Saro-Wiwa was put to death) giving speeches justifying why the execution should happen, he was charged by Abacha to record the death on video and bring the evidence to the dictator in Aso Rock. Ojukwu signed Saro-Wiwa's death certificate as a "Government witness".

Each time it seems like your Arewa brothers are losing the initiative your flight mysteriously finds the tarmac on the pages of NL. Yet, you claim to, not only live in the US but, be a non-African US citizen.

Folks like me know you're an alhaji resident in the North. I doff my hat to you though for trying unsuccessfully to make your grammar sound 'American,' but hard as you've tried, your posts still very much reek 'Nigerian.' Not saying 'Nigerian' in its context is wrong, it's just that in your own case both your grammar is not only consistently incorrect it's also 'un-American.'

I usually don't care about people's use of English language because, quite frankly, I don't give a hoot - provided you can do the job for which I hired you...you're good to go. However, in your case I just couldn't resist taking this low road with you because for quite some time now, you've been displaying this "I'm-American-better-than-you" smug that's as annoying as an insidious bug.

So, let's go back to your post and see if you truly are American.

I also do this because I'm trying to beat it into your block heads that life could be better, and you don't have to live like a loser or subject your kids to hopelessness just because that's what your fathers did to you.

Stabilize oil market my foot.
Well, when Buhari--- a man that basically used the tactics which I described above in his short 20 month reign as leader of Nigeria --- says "I will stabilize oil prices", what do you take it to mean? That he'll walk into OPEC Headquarters or the NYSE and instruct them what prices Petroleum products will trade for in the markets? Please tell me, because all I see from your post is hate mixed with desperation.
Politics › Re: Buhari Plans To Secure The Economy With Navy, army & Airforce If Elected by ISpiksDaTroof:
Buhari NEVER said "I'll Stabilize WORLD oil prices". What he said was "I'll Stabilize oil prices". Of course when deceitfully taken out of context the statement appears absurd, but common sense will tell anyone with an atom of a brain that he means:

A. Blocking and cutting off means by which the corrupt use to enrich themselves through the Nigerian oil industry

B. Introducing measures and policies that'll ensure the global price of oil is tandem with local price at which consumers purchase it within the country at gas stations.

C. Introduce policies that'll ensure local production is increased i.e building of refineries, and if necessary, barter oil for goods that the local population needs instead of introducing austerity measures for the common people while the elite siphon scarce funds buying Private jets and mansions etc

Its quite understandable that some Nigerians are now desperate and are latching on to straws now that false accusations (e.g Boko Haram sponsor, religious extremism, corruption/and theft of Govt Funds) can no longer be used against this upright and noble man.
