Till this moment, no APC goon on Nairaland has explained why Buhari threw Dr. Ekwueme (the VP) into Kirikiri. And left Shagari (the President) in a well furnished apartment, calling it house arrest.
They have , you just chose to ignore it.

Ekwueme was as corrupt as they come. At a time when Naira was one of the best currencies in the world, he had unexplainable Millions of Naira stashed in his home and bank accounts when he was arrested. Investigations also revealed he bought numerous homes and hotels during his time as V.P that was not commensurate with his salary or his worth before he became the #2 man of the country.

I don't get your complaints. If you say Buhari--- a man that ruled for barely 20 months and inherited a messed up corrupt Govt from the 2nd Republic--- is the reason why trains are not in Lagos, then I want to know why the whole Eastern Region is not linked by rail. What have your leaders been doing for generations apart from stealing every penny in sight then whipping up false tribal sentiments asking yall to blame the Bogeyman, Muslims, Northerners,Yorubas, Bigfoot and Santa Claus for their thievery? It's a Very simple question.

I'll totally understand if you're tongue-tied and don't have an answer.

Do you know what employment he denied people and revenue to government by killing that Lagos metro line trainhuhhuh
Did Buhari also stop trains from being put in Aba? What about Enugu? No? How about Onitsha? So how come your leaders---till this day --- haven't found it necessary to provide it for their citizens?

In any case, the point is not that most of you are clearly hateful hypocritical bigots that choose to forget Buhari inherited a messed up Government from a thieving Second Republic and was only in charge for less than 20 months (and did much more than GEJ has done in about 6yrs), but about the fact that most of you are willing to accept mediocrity while the rest of the world speeds past you. If Buhari, is a DEMOCRAT and a CHANGE AGENT, I expected him to have PROTEGES rite from his home state Katsina, and those his proteges will be winning elections because they were groomed by buhari, (a change agent). Going by Buhari's age, that's the IDEAL thing. However, Since 1999, PDP, have been the one CONTROLLING Katsina state and Buhari only get voters when he gets to national elections, against him and a SOUTHERNER. Buhari's APP,ANPP, CPC, hasn't won Katsina's Governorship election. Charity begins at home, What Change did Buhari BRING/MADE or brought to Katisina, since 1999?
Like I stated on this site last year, Buhari has a few distinguished young Nigerians whom he has personally tapped to play a role in his Government. Amongst these young Nigerians (especially) are two individuals of Edo and Eastern Nigerian backgrounds (male and female respectively); graduates of ivy league schools and successes in their various fields out here, Buhari looks to these two as the future of Nigeria. This I can personally attest to. The young man is from Connecticut, and still lives there (his father is Nigerian), I can't reveal more about the lady because she is quite popular and any clue will easily expose her identity.

P.S: what change did you expect Buhari to make in society when he holds neither elective or appointed posts?

Roflmaooooooooo

Look at the drunken, illiterate clown that heads the most important black Nation on earth. Wow, what a shame. This dummy of a President does not have the slightest inkling what his position entails, how isn't this obvious to his supporters?!

Mr President, if you want to stop crime, shame criminals, and reduce recidivism what you have to do is--- instead of buying Private Jets, eating $35,3387.08/day meals, and stealing whatever is not nailed to the ground--- you empower, equip, and retrain law enforcement and the judiciary, then fight to make them as independent as possible. I know you will never do this because this will mean you and your wife will end up behind bars, but I will still go ahead and give you pointers.

1. Establish a National Identity Database (Vital Statistics Office); not the nonsense you got going with MasterCard.

2. Fingerprint every Nigerian over the age of 21.

3. Do not fingerprint minors so that they won't be subject to future Governmental Intrusion of their liberty, person, and freedom if they haven't committed, been charged, or convicted of a crime... Focus on my advice Johnny boy, emphasis is on "Future", that's what real leaders are concerned about.

4.Issue everyone a unique identification number

5. Collate the names of minor children of the fingerprinted adults. See how easy this is? Father and mother fingerprinted, but child wasn't-----but child's identity is still included in database. Now, When Child also gets of age and starts making his own family, his children are also included in the database. Mr.President, off the top of my head, i think you kill at least 4 Birds with this one stone:

I. You have identified who is a Nigerian by fingerprinting their parents and including the children in a database and issuing them a unique identification number. This practice will follow them from generation to generation. Nobody can then come, say 25years from now and claim to be a Nigerian--- a few clicks of the computer and you will have some explaining to do.

II. You will COMPLETELY eliminate illegal immigration.

III.You completely eliminate voter fraud by foreign nationals that cast votes in elections meant for only Nigerians.

IV. You--- plus successive Govts--- will have reliable data of how many citizens are within you jurisdiction to work with. This will enable you know which areas to focus on, for what, and where.

6. Provide funds for the police to link up all their offices (and maybe squad cars) with electronic/computerized fingerprinting machines/technology so that info can be transferred in real time. Once an arrest is made, a suspect is fingerprinted then charged. This fingerprint (if the arrest is the suspect's first) is collated in a Criminal database and run against existing fingerprints of others previously arrested to ensure that he/she is not wanted in other jurisdictions, is hiding his/her true identity by giving a false name to the police, or has an extensive criminal history.

These are the little things you can do instead of protecting your criminal friends and sycophants---- and I bet history will judge you favorably if you take these steps. You are fond of putting the cart before the horse, Mr.Jonathan, and turning the simplest of situations topsy-turvy, but I guarantee you--- if you dedicate yourself to even this one issue--- you may not be alive when praises start getting heaped on you by future generations, but you lineage will be the happiest for it.

Then again, I might just be wasting my time with this advise because Nigerians are known to want their praises "right now". So, I guess it's "carry on" for you, especially seeing as there's a certain section of the country that is scared of change and is egging you on till 2019 (or till Buhari becomes a Catholic) to continue the madness that is your administration.

You do not need a newspaper "hall of shame" publication if you truly want to fight crime.... Or have an idea what your job is or how to go about it.

What you don't know is that there are different types of programmes offered at Harvard. The degree programmes are mainly based on academic excellence. There are also the 2-3 months executive programmes which the wealthy do to either help them in running their business or to boost their profile. For instance, Okonjo-Iweala was at Harvard. The Senate committee chairman on finance, Dr Abdulmumin Jibrin, was also at Harvard. But the difference in their 'Harvard' is that while Okonjo-Iweala did a degree programme which is based on academic excellence, the Senate guy did an executive programme which does not require the same intellectual rigour as a degree programme. I am not in any way saying that Dr Jubrin is unintelligent, for he is sound and has a rich CV. But the programme he did at Harvard is a programme any rich guy with average intelligence can pay and do. It is also the same one Orji kalu did. If you are rich, you can do it. Harvard makes money through such programmes. You attend lectures and workshops for 2-3 months and give them $30,000.
.
You seem to know so much of nothing about Harvard...

You lack comprehension. One way to know a dunce is that he is the first to call others dunce. Buhari went to Aldershot which was not for the elite or exceptional officers. Only you know where you saw that Buhari went to military school meant for exceptional officers. And when he went to Aldershot there were no military schools for the training of soldiers that level in Africa. I hope you know that the Adershot cadet school is now moribund. In the early 1960s when Buhari went to Aldershot, the elite/exceptional corps went to Sandhurst. The rest went to Aldershot and India. You probably have heard of the phrase, 'Sandhurst-trained'. Ask any army officer of Buhari's time the difference between Sandhurst and Aldershot. All officers go for courses before promotion. That is to prepare you for the next level. It's just like someone in the civil service attending courses at Shangisha before being promoted to the next level. So, don't come here and make noise about an officer doing what is normal in their profession.

I hope you know that with your money you can do a programme in Harvard no matter how intelligent or unintelligent you are. For instance,Orji Kalu was in Harvard and he has some top business people who 'graduated' from an executive programme with him there. But yoAnd it is not true that 'it is more like a masters graduate programme'. Nope. For a programme to be like a masters programme it has to be accredited to be so. Even Buhari cannot claim to have obtained a military 'masters graduate programme'. It's like saying that anybody who attended our own NDA did their bachelor or graduate programme. There are many programmes offered in a school. It depends on what you did there.

So, don't ascribe to the General what he can't ascribe to himself. That is one mistake you people brushing up his image do.
What the hell are you yapping about? You think Harvard is Enugu University that anyone can just get into just because you've got money? You best do yourself a favor and go figure out how folk like Mr.Orji Kalu were invited and accepted into their Institution and what criteria was used.

And for your info, yes, Mr.Buhari does have a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies. If you took the time to understand how Military Schools/Promotion work --- instead of relying on hate and bigotry--- you'd realize that there are "Courses" and Exams that have to be passed in order to "move forward" with your military career.

So, to summarize :

1. Buhari has a Master's degree from a reputable United States Military College on Strategic Studies, his credentials can be verified and most of his class mates (former/Present top U.S/U.K/Pakistani/EU Military Brass) can attest to this.

2. President Goodluck Jonathan's PhD is debatable and can't be verified because aside from his wife there is no evidence of former class mates, colleagues or even a thesis that can be attributed to him.

I think Nigerians should insist on seeing GEJ'S credentials.

P.S: The next move will be the usual, false, PDP claims to have spoken to Mr.Buhari's former classmates and that they all described him in unflattering terms.

A Rejoinder To 'Semi-Illiterate' PDP Secretary Prof. Wale Oladipo By Dr. M.K. Hassan
Since the goons in Wadata Plaza have started the literacy debate, it is very appropriate to ask them that they produce Dr. Goodluck Jonathan’s Ph.D thesis and publications in renowned journals. Goodluck’s speeches, attitude, and interviews with international media don’t portray him as a Ph.D holder. Nigerians are eager to read his thesis and publications.

I was shocked to read a press statement from Wadata Plaza issued by a so called Professor Wale Oladipo, secretary of the PDP, saying that General Muhammadu Buhari is a semi illiterate jackboot. It is no wonder that our education system has fallen so low, else how can one explain a professor making such a statement? How did Wale Oladipo become a professor to start with? It is quite astonishing that he can say this. The professor doesn’t seem to understand the basic rudiments of learning and what it means for one to be literate or not.

Prof. Wale Oladipo, PDP National Secretary

Buhari attended the best military schools in the world. In case the professor doesn’t know, Buhari graduated as a military officer (Lieutenant) in Royal Military Academy, Aldeshot UK. He attended the Defense College India. Col Buhari attended the US Army War College Carlisle in Pennsylvania from 1979 -1980 and earned his command as a Brigadier General. The respected General Collin Powel attended the same school in 1976 to become Brigadier General. Some of Buhari’s classmates include General Beltson, General Thomas P Carney, General Bill Matz, General David E.K. Cooper etc. all of them are alive and can be reached and they will give glowing tributes of the man, Buhari, they know as their classmate.

Anyone interested in verifying Buhari’s academic credentials can write the school instead of reading jargon from a deranged Wadata Plaza Professor of Politics of Destruction Party (PDP). I have checked Google Scholar hoping that Prof. Wale Oladipo’s name and publications will show up and nothing is showing up, that says a lot about him as a Professor than Buhari as a retired decorated General who served his country so well and has not claimed any scholarship.

The curriculum at the U.S. Army War College earns one a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies and that is what Buhari has. For somebody to claim that a graduate of such a prestigious school is semi-illiterate, means something is very wrong with that person’s brain. By all academic and military standards, Buhari’s education is superb and the best any general can get in the world. Therefore, for Wale Oladipo to claim Buhari is semi-illiterate speaks volumes about his understanding of what education is even all about. The unlearned professor thinks education is about earning paper degrees only, and even if it was the case, Buhari has them from the most respected military institutions in the world.

General Muhammadu Buhari has the kind of military strategic education and experience to deal a decisive blow on Boko Haram and end the insecurity challenges facing Nigeria. Buhari is the only army officer with the opportunity to command 3 out of 4 Nigeria’s army divisions as a GOC.

In 1983, when rebels from Chad took over our land, seizing more than 19 villages (much like what the Boko Haram is doing now), Major General Buhari led a successful operation as the GOC to push back the Chadian rebels and reclaim our territory.

In 1984, when the Maitatsine sect decided to declare war on Nigeria like what Boko Haram is doing now, Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari wasted no time in crushing them. Boko Haram is a descendant of the Maitatsine sect with the same extremist ideology and anti-western education philosophy. It is surely President Buhari that will be able to handle them: eliminating these terrorists when he comes to power like he did before. Muhammadu Buhari as a captain fought in the Congo Civil War and won the Congo Medal. He was there during our civil war to bring peace and keep Nigeria one. That is true patriot: a man that gave his life to another country not only his fatherland.

His past interview with Christiane Amanpour was quite embarrassing; he couldn’t even make eye contact with her. Nigerians are eager to read his thesis and publications.

In conclusion, it is obvious to all Nigerians that the PDP government and its illiterate professor are only interested in playing dirty politics with the lives and properties of Nigerians. Nigerians now need Buhari, a man with international military education and experience, a seasoned administrator with zero tolerance for corruption to end this insecurity, bring prosperity, and place Nigeria at the seat it deserves in the comity of nations.

Saudi Arabia's manipulation of oil prices to destroy the fracking market, coupled with the doofus in-charge of the Russian central bank, and stock market(Wall Street and London) manipulations threw the Tsunami at the Ruble, not your sanctions. Expected cos the Russian economy isn't that diversified. However, I believe they'll start the diversification drive now.

Err, how can Obama in one breath say, "Sanctions have never worked and will never work against little Cuba" and in the next one assert that, "sanctions are biting Russia?" C'mon Obama, rep us better, my nyggah and big brother. We love you!

Putin is still the master of chess - I can't wait to see his next move. Learning from the great Messr Putin! cool
What the hell are you talking about?

This is how the man that asked the seemingly asinine questions above looks. Take him serious and engage him in a debate at your own peril.
