Yorubaangel: what do you know about Mech Eng. @UNN please wish to apply this year... I have friends there and to be sincere they are not as fast as Civil Engineering. |

UNN PG studies is better but it all depends on the student,I started my M. Eng (Civil Engineering) studies by January 2016 though proper lectures started by the last week of February 2016. By December 2016 I completed my course work(11 courses). According to my Supervisor,he said if I'm serious and fast that I will be done with my Thesis latest March 2017. If that happens that means I did my Masters under 12 - 14 months. The lectures in my department are good , though I can't say for other departments. |

mrphysics: UNN has never done M.Sc for a year. The dean of postgraduate studies Prof. A.U.Ubachukwu is a professor in my department and he taught me in my final year, and he always tell us about post graduate studies in UNN. I have made many researches on UNN M.Sc but i haven't heard or seen anyone that did it for a year. maybe your own is special. The current Dean of PG school in UNN now is Prof Mrs Osadebe. Things have really changed for better as regards to PG studies in UNN |

Mille: Don't be so quick to downgrade Nigerian universities.
I am an Erasmus Mundus student here in Romania and due to the broadness of my program, I do attend courses in many departments. But mostly with MSc agribusiness students.
In the MSc Agribusiness (Department of Economics) students here take a Statistics course that I have done back in FUNAAB at 100 and 200L and I can tell you most of them have no idea about it. The class makes me look like a very brilliant student because it's so easy for me and funny thing is I'm not offering the course and hate statistics but only attending it because I like the professor (I think she's hot and I like to see her face).
The professor for one of my courses hasn't even attended any of the classes. We don't have the lecture notes (He always promises to send them but never will). Exam starts in 2 weeks, I wonder what we're going to write or how we're going to be graded.
The differences is just that the intensity of courses in Nigeria is much higher but here it's much practicalized. You go on trips, sent on observation, perform case studies etc and you're basically seated in front of a WIFI computer in Classes and you better have good computer+Microsoft office skills.
Before in Nigeria, I was a shy student. But after 3 presentations/week in Romania, you can be rest assured the stage fright is gone. Also the classes are conducive and not too populated (Well, since only 20% attend the classes. I meet the other 80% in Pubs and Coffee shops and they introduce themselve as my colleague) Good morning bro. Please how can one apply and get this Erasmus Mundus PhD scholarship. Thanks |

fulaniHERDSman: Nigerians are truely senselessly greedy, materialistic and vain! Most Nigerians have very low IQ. Most Nigerians are gullible & greedy thats why scam churches that preach materialism thrive. Nobody wants to be patient and wait for God's time, this is why there are lots of miracle centers ripping off Lazy and little faith Nigerians. This is also how and why we choose senseless and useless leaders during the polls. Cause we hardly ask questions nor resarch. Hypocrisy is the middle name of the average Nigerian ... Why do you espect me to pity your condition now, when you never heed my warning before the account freeze? Were any of you my child, i would have flogged you mercilessly for a bitter lesson. I have no pity for anyone caught up in all this cause most of them are still gearing up to dig deeper into their MMM misery and won't admit its a disastrous folly. This also shows that most people who claim to have been charmed when scammed actually were driven on willy nilly by their 100carat greed, only to blame jazz after due to shame!
More loading ..... No hard feelings ... and no need quoting to sound nasty cause i'd ensure your ban. Btw, i hate nitwits mentioning me, yes i said it, only nitwits won't see that MMM is undiluted evil scam. You are a deluded Zombie |

segalex: How come ekiti state didn't make it to the list here, fayose is owning more than okorochas, he just paid July salary last week for the state workers, while LG workers only got their June salary last week, the workers at the state teaching hospital are yet to be paid their June salary as we speak, there is no free flow of movement in ado ekiti the state capital due to the construction of his so called fly over which the governor said won't be completed until December 2017! I think daily should do more research because I'm sure more state governors will enter 2017 with more problems than the ones highlighted here(if they see it as problems anyway), infact I feel it will be easier to count governors who will have a smooth transition to 2017 than those who won't as the whole country is in a mess. I'm able to point out ekitis problems because I live there Oga Zombie relax and stop talking nonsense |

Pastors collects money (tithe)from their congregation, builds schools, buys private jet etc which their church members can't afford but in MMM money is being transferred from one participant to another and in 30days ur money returns to u with 30% increase. So between Pastors and MMM who is a SCAM,Who is demonic and satanic ?
Nairaland is anti MMM thats why every negative news about MMM makes front page. Nairaland mods should not be biased against MMM rather be more open to views from both the positive and negative stories. |

alizma: stop defending what you don't know and learn. if Google is paying MMM to maintain her operation cost, is Google also paying the 30% you receive? take this analysis; if Nigerian population is 5 and the 5 people decided to invest 1000each into MMM then at the end of 30day, decided to withdraw their investment with the 30%, pls where will the 1500 total interest(300*5) come from since you and I know very well that the money was not invested in a profitable business? it is possible now because now because there new subscribers that keep absorbing that shortfall and that is why MMM is a build up of debt. it will certainly crash and if I have the present number of educated Nigerians that use the internet, the rate ate which internet users in Nigeria increases as well as the rate at which people subscribe to MMM, with some provision for error margin, I can tell you when MMM is likely going to crash in Nigeria. MMM has made some people become financial analyst. MMM makes some people wet their pants. Why do people like you always jump on any MMM thread if you are not interested in it. Ask yourself this few questions after which u might discover that you have been stupid by wasting your time and mb on this thread. |
