I might not be a Lawyer, but common sense tells me an offense has been committed. This Saraki and his band of adventurers, are a serious distraction on our polity. These guys are holding the Senate, and by extension, Nigerians hostage.

Saraki should respectfully just go.

Saraki is British, and he should take a cue from his brother David Cameron, and just resign with dignity.

Mr Ozekome is either being comical or is simply allowing his love for money becloud his judgement. the National Assembly Bureaucracy and the politicians are passing the buck on who actually did the amendment; none of them is owning up. in any case, if it is to be amended, is it done in someones bedroom? a meeting of the concern officers would have been convened and the amendment would have been done and signatures applied. no such event took place!

again, is it a coincidence that the amendment allowed saraki and ekweremadu to be appointed with almost half of the senators absent, or it was planned. or maybe luck was just on the side of the beneficiaries of that amendment...

until we stop the impunity by applying the full force of the law on offenders especially people in positions of authority, then this country will not get it right...
