The rate of rot and executive interference in the judiciary has reached a pitiable state. If Nigerians fail to salvage Nigeria tomorrow then the country would go to the Dogs forever.

According to A Ariyo an associate of Deji Adeyanju they met the stringent bail conditions for the release of Deji Adeyanju but the Judge refused to sign it and regisrar abscond. This was how he put it :

- the judge refused to sign the warrant of release, as excuses trumped justice, albeit temporarily;

- they didn't expect us to meet it before Feb 23.

Bail conditions contained an embedded sureties' assets verification process in Kano Bureau & Ministry of Land. Usually, it takes several days to get the report but we got it less 72hrs. It shocked them.

Registrar left when Judge was still in chamber. Justice delayed. Shameful.

This is similar to the dance of Shame Zainab Bulkachuwa and the Judges in the court of appeal have been playing with the suit involving the CJN. Such despicable actions rubbishes the entire judiciary.

If government starts ignore the constitution, ignore due process, impose "shoot to kill" where it likes that means there is no rule of law anywhere, but government and citizens.

International observers are flying in all over the world, what if a stray bullet hits one of them or an innocent voter in the course of chasing ballot box snatchers? You will tell these people you use gun to enforce electoral law? How can ballot box snatching merit death? There are far worse crimes than that are punished with prison sentence. Even manslaughter doesn't carry death penalty


But the worst thing of all which people miss is that we have a President showed on this matter that he is a man who neither cares about the rule of law, human rights or the sanctity of human life

There's is a reason why much of the West and the international community still think that much of black Africa is a land of savages and barbarians.

Life is the most precious thing on Earth, it is not something that is destroyed over light and transient issues. If a person is to be killed, it must be over serious and weighty issue(s)

But Africans act as if life is something you can throw away and get back any time. Life is cheap and has no value in Africa. A Country with no value for human life is a country heading no where.

Buhari's human rights record is a terrible one. Under his watch, hundreds, if not thousands of unarmed Shittes/IPOB have been killed by the security forces. The only people who care are the affected and the international community. The average Nigerian has no value for human life except his own and that of his family. Buhari has again empowered his security forces to use brutal force on election day against at anyone snatching ballot box. Buhari could have said that anyone caught snatching the ballot box should be arrested and prosecuted. But to encourage brutal force on election day, in front of foreign observers and the electorate can only be done by a man that has lost touch with reality, a barbarian.

Ballot box snatching is terrible, but not terrible enough to kill people. It is not terrible enough to risk the life of the electorate who could be hit by a stray bullet in a crowded polling booth. All civilised people who recognise the sanctity of human life should condemn Buhari for his lack of any sense of the rule of law.
