Daft comparison, every Nigerian knows that's a "tradition" in lots of universities even though the rituals differ for various institutions. At least if you schooled in any Nigerian university, you should know.
What a moronic hypocritical and illogical attempt to justify your bigotry.

You found it convenient to insult all Buhari supporters by calling them STUPID simply because one among them chose to celebrate his election victory by bathing and drinking 'gutter water'; yet in the same vain you found it quite acceptable where such feat is similarly repeated elsewhere in the south because it involved supposedly more educated university students - who had foolishly even adopted it as a tradition.

Pls tell me which is worse.

If u actually comprehended urself & what u have been writing, then it will b easy 4 me to agree with u that I lack comprehension.

Now u are assuming that because u didn't c d content of d bullion vans, hence they are empty. And u also assuming that bullion vans driving into Tinubus compound on d eve of elections was "was all a gimmick to psychologically intimidate the opposition - into believing APC had more money than they actually had."

First of all, was there ever a time that PDP& APC were contesting 4 who had more money? APC is d govt in power& everything is at its disposal. So it doesn't need to engage in any gimmick to show that it has more money. Instead, d reverse should b d case. If u want to intimidate d opposition, is it by having "empty" bullion vans drive into ur compound? This is d reason y I asked u b4, can a private individual walk into a bank to hire bullion vans just to use "to intimidate d opposition"? So far u haven't been able to tell me were u have seen banks in Nigeria putting up their bullion vans 4 hire.

Let me ask u. What is d process a private individual follows in hiring a bullion van? Can that individual just walk into any bank branch& transact such business? How will he or she pay 4d transaction? Will he or she pay cash? Into which account in d bank will d money go?

So if u want 2go to court, these are d questions u will first need 2 answer as y two bullion vans were seen in Tinubus compound on d eve of election.

If Tinubu is going to go by ur excuse that he used empty bullion vans to try to intimidate d opposition, how does that sound except u think such a flimsy reason will stand up in any court. Those vans came from somewhere. They came from a bank. Even if an outsider didn't c their contents, a court can demand 4d banks transactions as it relates with Tinubu. So I honestly don't no what u are trying to defend except u don't understand how d real world works.
Oboy, I done tire for your matter and cannot continue to explain this very straight forward issue in more simpler terms - maybe somebody else may come in and assist.

As for me, I no even bother to read this your latest epistle again.

If you like, carry the matter go court, sue Tinubu say him dey use bouillon launder money - case closed.

Oga once again, according to u:

"in fact for all they know the bouillons could even be empty and Tinubu could even claim they were used to as a psychological gimmick simply to intimidate the opposition."

Except u don't understand what u wrote earlier. Let me explain to u d meaning of what u said. In ur quote above, u trying to say that Tinubu hired empty bullion vans to use as a "psychological gimmick simply to intimidate the opposition". That is y I asked u, how does a member of d public hire a bullion van from a bank?

All u have written above doesn't relate with d excerpt of d post I quoted especially ur number 5. U seem 2b talking with both sides of ur mouth. How can Tinubu claim d bullion vans were empty when he acknowledged that there was money in d vans when he said how's it any persons business what he does with his money?

What else is there to prove when u c bullion vans moving around? What other valuables other than cash do bullion vans carry in Nigeria?

Have u seen or witnessed any bank charge any of its customers 4 helping them supply or evacuate their cash? Can u give me example?
I am sorry to say that you seem to have a very serious problem with comprehension.

What I have been saying is that the evidence seen so far (bouillons going in and out of Tinubu's residence) are not sufficient enough to convict him of money laundering because no outsider had seem them being emptied on the premises and therefore can prove they actually carried money - that's why I said the bouillons could even be empty and that Tinubu could later also pretend that it was all a gimmick to psychologically intimidate the opposition - into believing APC had more money than they actually had.

Yes Tinubu implied the bouillons had money but that is something he could later deny, using the above example as one among the many possible excuses he could use to defend himself.

If you insist on this line of argument; then can you pls tell me: what type of currency, Naira, Dollar, Euro etc' then the Denomination(s) and the exact amount in each bouillon - just a few of the required evidence a plaintiff may have to prove in court in order for the allegation of money laundering to stick.

We are saying d same thing. Earlier u said:

"in fact for all they know the bouillons could even be empty and Tinubu could even claim they were used to as a psychological gimmick simply to intimidate the opposition."

That's u saying d bullion vans were empty that's y I asked u how do u hire bullion vans from banks. So I read ur post ur "carefully enough". Maybe u didn't remember what u wrote.

Banks operate to make money. How do they make money? Does part of their means of making money include putting up their assets like bullion van 4 hire to d general public? So how does a member of d public hire a bullion van from a bank?
You are still failing to read and comprehend what has been clearly written even after clarification.

Let me break it down for you one by one.

1. If have huge amount of money or any (valuable) item to move under security; you can contract a bank to do it for you.

2. The service is available to organisations including any individual who can pay their charges.

3. The item to be conveyed doesn't have to be money; it can be anything - even the thin air; just as long as you can pay.

4.Yes, banks make money in so many different ways (not just lending and investing money) including so many things under the collective name of 'Service Charge' - transportation of your money (or valuable) in their bouillons falls under that.

5. That was why I said; Tinubu could even claim the bouillons were empty, because no one had seen their content in his house and therefore could prove they were actually carrying money, in the first place - let alone beyond the legal limit.

6. That was why I said the allegation against him would be difficult to prove - for lack of admissible evidence.

The problem of most of your kind is that you swallow every poo thrown at you from Bubu and his handlers hook, line and sinker.

The report in Vanguard quoted Femi Adesina as saying that Mike Pompeo as congratulating "Nigerians" for a successful election, and not "Buhari" for victory.

Why would Pompeo's statement be conveyed by Adesina, which but raises a lot of questions.

Mike Pompeo has a twitter handle, and so does the White House. Why hasn't any official statement come from these avenues?

How does congratulating Nigerians for a successful election translate to congratulating Buhari for victory?
Did you actually read this:

A statement from the British High Commission in Abuja on Wednesday, quoted the Minister of State for Africa, Harriett Baldwin, as saying “I offer my congratulations to President Buhari on securing a second term as the Nigerian President.

Was Harriet Baldwin representing herself or the British High Commission detached from the British Government?

Are you kidding me?
Where does it say that congratulatory messages or statements must come directly from heads of government before they can be considered valid.

Haven't you heard of spoken persons or representatives who represent or speak for governments and heads of states? - it like saying statements for and on behalf of the president by Femi Adesina or Garba Shehu are not valid until PMB makes them himself.

If those congratulatory messages were not valid, their respective countries would have long denied them and the announcers sanctioned ccordingly.

You can quote the law as many times as you like; yet the allegation of money laundering can never be substantiated unless they can prove that the bouillons were carrying more than N5 million; in fact for all they know the bouillons could even be empty and Tinubu could even claim they were used to as a psychological gimmick simply to intimidate the opposition.

They will have a hard time making those allegations stick; even where they do, they must also show that the alleged infringement was substantial enough to sufficiently influence the outcome of the result - the gap of 4 million votes between PMB and Atiku is seemingly one insurmountable mountain they are unlikely to undo.
PoliticsRe: INEC Budgets N1.9bn To Defend Buhari, Others’ Mandate In Court by ItsMeAboki(m): 10:44am On Mar 06, 2019
OddsIsland:
The Independent National Electoral Commission is expected to spend over N1.9bn on legal fees and related matters as aggrieved candidates challenge the outcomes of various elections in court.

Atiku, a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, and others have already challenged the result of the elections in court.

The information is contained in INEC’s 2019 Election Project Plan which was obtained by The PUNCH.

The document reads in part, “N1, 796, 547, 500.00. Professional fees and expenses for external solicitors to be engaged by the commission to represent it at the tribunals and appeals; honorarium for legal officers that represent the commission at election petitions and appeals.

“Analysis of fees: Governorship petition at N4.5m X 20; senatorial petition at N3m X 45; House of Reps atN2.7m X105; state House of Assembly N1.350m X 244. Honorarium to in-house lawyers is seven per cent of fees payable to external solicitors.”

Of the sum, N6m was spent on pre-election cases which are disputes that arose from the conduct of party primaries.

The commission will also spend a separate N26.5m on monitoring the hearing of election petitions and appeals across the 36 states and the FCT.

The sum will cover duty tour allowance and transport costs for the monitors at the hearing of election petitions and appeals as well as the compilation and printing of reports of petitions and appeals.

The electoral umpire also budgeted a separate N99.5m for the compilation and production of updated electoral legal framework including the code of conduct for external lawyers and code of conduct for staff.

A separate N25m will be spent on the prosecution of electoral offenders.

Yakubu had revealed in January that the commission battled 1, 134 legal cases arising from election disputes in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Source : https://punchng.com/inec-budgets-n1-9bn-to-defend-buhari-others-mandate-in-court/
So INEC apparently set aside a budget for pre and post election court cases; how does that translate to mean that the money was set aside to defend buhari and therefore warrant such misleading headline - if not mischief or stupidity or both?
