Very sensible move by the governor, it would go a long way towards solving the ongoing headship battle of our hospitals (and by extension the health sector disharmony) which has been cavorted by medical doctors as their political birthright to the detriment of others. Bringing hospital administrators as heads of hospitals would ensure neutrality at decision making level as well as encouraging the warring parties back to the business of pursuing professional excellence rather than inter professional supremacy/dominance - hope this move becomes a norm throughout the entire health sector. |
When it comes to wickedness and evil na dem sabi am well well. |
Guestlander:LOL, you said it all. ![]() |
There is no country in this world that can guarantee its citizens 100% security; they all try but only God can guarantee absolute security. |
Anyone who abuses free speech in order to spread hate deserves jail and if proven that such speech had further incited to cause any death then such person should similarly be sentenced to death - period. Nigerians are currently at loggerheads insulting and abusing each other in the cyberspace; while the youths are being primed with hate, their reasoning and perspectives already distorted via sponsored fake news and propaganda by local champions and irresponsible leaders in the name of politics or religion; its no wonder that maiming and killing at the slightest provocation is now the order of the day in this country. Hate speeches are fanning the many burning fires feeding majority of the ongoing unrest in our country - and it just has to stop; I therefore fully support the law and its rigorous implementation. |
Of course as he is a southerner the usual bigots would not tie the crime to his region, tribe or religion. |
Mainstream media; Channels , AIT etc would not show these images, they may at best just gloss over the story but would not waste time to cover Fulani atrocities. |
PMB's message to all the haters.

What do you expect from a zoo animal. |
LaudableXX:You are not only incorrigible but a hypocrite as well: Incorrigible because even after referring you back to my post where I clearly included airports as restricted where grazing is prohibited (as also spelt out by the police spokesman in the quoted article) you still came back at me on the same issue as though you never read or understood my post. A hypocrite because just after reminding me to stick to the subject matter; you immediately went off on a completely different tangent to address me on the unrelated issues of northern failed leadership, educational backwardness etc (issues that were in any case never in contention in any of my posts) - i.e. not practising what you were preaching. For the sake of clarity, I had at the outset of this thread predicted how many of the so called educated lot would misinterpret/misunderstand the police spokesman's explanation in the said article (mainly due to bigotry and blind hatred); indeed I wasn't far from the truth as many, including yourself failed to prove me wrong - what a pity. |
Criminals hiding under Christianity - its about time government starts registering and licensing pastors. |
Good move and big step towards diversification; not only bio fuel but also carbon dioxide and animal feeds as well. |

They prayed for the father to die but he survived; then they also prayed for the son to die and he too has survived - it must be a very sad day for the wailing PigDiots. |
Hian! Only in the south, father and son at the same time; see double wahala, rape and incest combined together. |
Indeed, these animals deserved to be caged in a zoo. |
“I’m not collecting pension; the moment I saw that allegation, I wrote to my state to stop my pension,” he had said in an interview". What a cheek! What a corrupt mindset! So according to him it was an allegation that he was collecting pension from Kwara state government - not a fact, can you imagine? |
Mtcheww! Bad acting and poor set up - only a fool would not see through this obvious charade. |
Imagine this kind of backwardness among our so called Advanced Developers. |
Although some of what he said not exactly correct about Muslims; however, he made some salient points which Christians may well be advised to take into consideration. First of all, there is so much diversity or variant denominations among Christians (Muslims have them too but not as much) that may be related to the watering down of doctrine values by the so called men of God (pastors and priests) who seem to have arrogated to themselves powers to overrule or modify divine laws. Pastors have unfortunately done a lot of damage to the church by commercialising Christianity, feeding fat on the gullibility of their flock; using dubious means where every pastor seems to be in competition to out perform another or even Jesus Christ in miracles; and ultimately exploiting tithe to stupendously enrich themselves. Christians, especially Nigerian Christians are very intolerant of Muslims and seem to begrudge them their rights and traditions, as encourage by their leadership through misinformation and divisive hate speeches often derived from tribal and regional sentiments. |
Chai, see better neatly designed roads; I counted 14 lanes in the first picture. Wonder when our greed and selfishness would allow us attain such standards - a country where residents would quickly rush to construct their houses next to a road whenever a new one is built, therefore frustrating any chance for its future expansion. |
lekanation:My thoughts exactly. |
EarthXmetahuman:They are more comfortable perpetually wailing in the victim's mode, crying marginalisation than being carried along. |
FulaniTerrorist:My friend, substantiate your claim that the individuals in that picture were Fulani herdsmen or STFU. As for the patrons of MACBAN; they have no bigger patron than GEJ himself, who is a life Grand Patron for approving N100 billion towards restoring their grazing reserves, when he was Nigeria's president - they even gave him a certificate to prove it.

LaudableXX:I really don't know whether you and that Charliebiz are the same persons hiding under different monikers or different individuals suffering from the same affliction of intellectual laziness/poor comprehension. In any case, may I also refer you to the 2nd paragraph of my earlier post where I clearly and specifically included airports as restricted areas where grazing is prohibited. Lastly, your regional origins is of no interest to me; nor does it take away from the fact that southerners continue to take delight in maligning northerners as educationally backwards while many of them are ironically half baked or at best educated illiterates. Shey you understand? |
All thanks to the collective Tithe of the gullible. |
Only imported frozen chicken? There are unscrupulous local marketers also using Formalin (Formaldehyde) on local products such as Kpomo (edible cow skin); the story even made headlines here in Nairaland a few years ago; its was claimed when used the chemical not only preserves the item but also makes it swell up and appear more bulkier and appealing - Nigerians, especially kpomo overs, be warned, stay clear away from any kpomo that appears unusually thick and more appealing; it may have been adulterated. |
Looters are no longer safe. Join the fight against corruption

Old picture, like others that were all over the internet showing many of the campaign gimmicks leading towards the 2015 elections. |
FulaniTerrorist:They are not Fulani nor picture Nigerian; this is how you ppl spread misinformation. @TOPIC: The incidence was covered by AIT, where witnesses and the victim were interviewed: it was the outcome of an altercation between the church security men and police, which degenerated into an argument and shooting because the police were also denied the right of passage after the church security had barricaded the road during morning service. |
