BlueRayDick: If u know what ASUU knows, u will do worse than they are doing. When u know there's nowhere Ur employer will get Ur replacements without compromising competency, u will hold Ur employer for blokus.
There are shortages of experienced PhD holders who are willing to work in the work-environment Lecturers in Federal universities are working as it stands; so the lecturers will always be bargain their way in any negotiation . If division no dey among the lecturers it will hard for government to force them back to work
The problem with this is that you seem to assume that the government cares whether they remain on strike for the next 6 years. You are assuming ASUU is NLC or NUPENG that can halt economic activities when they go on strike and make FG tremble.
As they are on strike, the children of those in government are either outside the country or in private universities. They should continue the strike, when hunger hits them, the division that will end the strike must come.
BlueRayDick: Any parent wey dey earn well and has their child still in 100l or 200l should just withdraw them and have them restart from Convenant, Babcock or Bowen. I can assure them the child will finish NYSC before his former coursemates in Federal varsities.
It's obvious this ASUU vs FG matter no dey end soon. With people like Keyamo and Ngige at the negotiation table, it will always end in deadlock and ASUU stubborn pass cow. It's a long ride for those students
I'm glad FG has stopped paying them. When hunger hold them, they will return to class.
I'm with Keyamo on this. If they can't do the work they should resign. This nonsense where employees can decide to hold their employers to ransom at the detriment of students must stop.
Can someone help interprete this statement? The English dey confuse me. How can a child apply for settlement after 5 years when the child needs to have to lived for 7 years in the first place. Or is it 5 years after the initial 7 years making it a total of 12 years?
"A child who is born outside the UK but who has lived in the UK continuously for 7 years will be able to apply for settlement after 5 years rather than 10 years as is the case at present"
People were buying three year old Tokunbo cars if they didn't buy brand new.
I remember when a friend came from UK and we were yabbing him for bringing sweets sold in lagos traffic. 2002 to 2010 were boom years. Companies were buying cars every four years or less.
One of my guys whose wife was in v mobile at the time got a three year old toyota hilux at 50k auction lottery
The 2008 Toyota corolla was so common I would literally see a line of the car in different colours when going to work.
I know people who used the stock market to finance their masters back then.
I never old enough to work then but I have two cousins who graduated around that period and they both got instant graduate trainee jobs in GTB.
Not not enough sample size but those of us from the same extended family who finished school from 2012 upwards didn't find it that easy in the labour market.
With the exception of Larride who of course is a party man, every other person selling Tinubu on this thread is either not in the country or will be leaving before the election
However Tinubus government turns out no too concern them.
GloriousGbola: And you have the peculiar brand of insanity from team buhari
Media blackout on terrorism Dashing ultra high end LUXURY vehicles to a nation that we have never had any strategic interest or partnerships with at a time when our economy is in tatters Gaslighting Nigerians and telling them we are all safe
Smh
I will not be surprised if someome's father has lost his job in one of the media houses that have been fined.

larride: Just corruption, pure and simple. That's why they detest when they post them around Alausa and environs.
Agberos collect owo Lastma from danfo drivers now that they remit at the end of the day of those posted to the area so the danfo drivers can do as they like.
BlueMann: Would've liked for Ampadu to be kept as he'd provide cover in a couple of positions, especially as quality recruitments aren't forthcoming at the moment.
Meanwhile, Hudson-Odoi is reportedly likely to leave.
When will you people realise that this Ampadu na dirty.
Dude has been sent out on more loans than I can remember and none of the teams have made an effort to sign him.
Havertz10: I don’t hate broja, think that he is overhyped by our fans as usual, personally I hope that tuchel follows the suggestion by Cobhamsexuals and benches havertz so broja can play
Hopefully that will finally make havertz leave the club
He's 20. Does that count for anything? Harry Kane at his age was dropping 2 goals in 13 appearances for Leicester
streetwise2015: Bro...Do you read to understand at all....Didn't you read the part that he is not responding to messages....Use ur head
If you are not foolish, you will not be begging someone you want to pay your hard earned money to reply your messages. Is he buying the car for you free of charge? Is he doing you any special favours?
Oya keep sending him messages na, maybe by 2025 he will be gracious enough to reply you. Mumu
