Is it that you lack shame or what? Nor be shame make you dey avoid here since. My advice to you is buy the dip
I saw them on frontpage jubilating and asking people to sell their holdings
I'm even praying it crashes further. My average price is currently 1068. If it crashes below 900, I can load more and bring my average below 1000 which will give me a better margin of safety.
Man literally admitted whatever they are saying about him is true and he's owning it with his full chest. He believes he's owed a factor andits his time to collect . That's the crux of his press conference ; whether the caption to the videos are misconstrued or not . Anybody who can read between the lines knows he's not denied having a hand in the violence that erupted earlier in the week and he's definitely not backing down anytime soon.
It's simple as that
Nawa o. You mean you watched both videos and this is what you came up with?
There's nothing to read between the lines beyond what he said in clear terms in both videos which was that the fight was about the political structure of PDP in Rivers State.
BlueRayDick: But where is the lie in the report ? I watched the video and wike said those words with his mouth.
He made it sounded like was joking but everyone knows he didn't call a press conference to crack joke over the issue .
What you watched is the cut and join version.
He started by saying they should not listen to all the abuses on social media that it's all politics. That's the part they cut out from the video. Then he said, they said I requested for 20bn, places his hands on the table, they said I requested for all the contracts, places his hands in the table. It's all politics". "Where were they when I was fighting."
The reports made it seem like he said asking for the money is all politics. No, he said the abuses on social media are all politics.
itsrm see ur people o. Dem talk say the Navy must have operational need for the yatch before dem put am for budget. He even left the main issue of explaining to us what possible operational reason that might be; he's blaming the media for sensationalism. smh
The fooolish man is talking as if the taxpayers don't deserve to be informed on what their tax is being spent on in this dire period.
If these people have their way, they will just be allocating wahtever they want to themselves without media prying their eyes into it.
Pearl1910: Ajo is community effort...people chipping in a certain amount for each other. U should be open to taking any position from time to time. Saying u will only accept first or nothing always is not wisdom, it is being selfish, self-centhered and greedy. The people taking last arent fools, or financial illiterates. What happens if everybody only wants early number Am not against carrying first, but saying if u carry last or anyother position asides first means the person lacks financial acumen is nauseating. We all have to have a sense of social responsibility for the society to grow. Channel ur financial acumen to banks and investment firms and leave ajo patrons alone.
The funny thing is, in the very next ajo do, you will eye the number one position based on what you've learnt yesterday/today.
We've seen it happen right on this thread before when you argued and argued till it was time to put your argument to test
For now, you can continue arguing as always. I no get strength again.
Pearl1910: U dey like form financial analyst but u ignore many other variables in life. Not everything works in real life as it is written in textbooks or class theories. u can't always guarantee the ROI in the money u will collect and invest. Like I said Ajo is done for several different reasons; Some people want to collect last and first in the next round to gather enough money for whatever purpose. Some people will never save that money if it wasn't for ajo, so taking last will just help them meet the target. Sometimes u just want to pay ur rent or buy appliances. It's not always only for investment oga financial guru.
You're not making sense. If it's to just pay your rent, collect number one, invest it, when it's time to pay your rent, withdraw and you'll still have your earned interest to do other things. That is wisdom.
If you can't invest, tie the money down in something that can be easily sold. Bag of rice 6 months ago was 40k or so. Anyone who collects number one of 120k 6 months ago and uses it to buy three bags of rice, sells it now at 53k per bag will have 159k while someone else is just collecting his own 120k. And they are doing the same ajo.
I'm not against doing ajo so I don't get where some people cannot save without ajo is coming from. Sometimes you just go off tangent.
And you can always guarantee your ROI. If you don't know, ask questions.
Lastly, I have never claimed to be a financial guru. I'm still learning and still have a whole lot to learn. I advice everyone to get some financial education. It will make you understand and see things differently.
Omoapena: So you will advice someone that have no better plan for money to collect no 1 and then spends it then the ajo will become debts to him?
If you must collect no 1 have plan for it but if you don't have plan for it, take last while you plan ahead...
Then collect the money and tie it down with something. You can use it to buy as many bags of rice and keep. When you need the money, sell it. Even if you don't keep up with inflation, you'll be in a better state than someone who simply queued up to collect the last ajo.
Just saving up with the current inflation just makes no sense. If you still can't see it, I really can't help beyond this point.
There's a reason people will have money with an investment bank and then use the money they have as collateral to obtain a loan despite having to pay interest on the loan. Imagine people like that coming in contact with a 0% interest loan.
If you must do ajo, the only thing that makes sense is to collect number one. Else, put your money in any mutual fund of your choice
Pearl1910: Different strokes for different folks at different times. He just told u he prefers doing Ajo as savings rather than as taking a loan. Sometimes collecting last as savings is gold, sometimes collecting early and investing it is perfect. Targeting a particular month or week which u will need the money is best.
Collecting early and investing is always perfect. It is a zero interest loan. There's no where in the world and no one who knows anything about money that will pass away a zero interest loan for savings.
For lack of a better word and I apologise, it's financial illiteracy.
Omoapena: Ajo is very important ooo, I have introduced over 4 drivers close to me to my Ajo coordinator and they always come back to thank me...
If nah 2k you fit engage everyday, pls do and always collect last as I do advice people.
I no dey ever collect Ajo early cox collecting it early is like borrowing money to me but last is a savings and you can comfortably use it to do something meaningful without having in mind to pay back again...
Bad advice. The first person to collect in any ajo is always the winner. If he collects 20k in January and you collect 20k in June, he will do more in January with the 20k than you will do in June due to inflation.
Ebukacute: I lost my mom to the cold hands of death yesterday morning.... Omo I just can't get over this experience. Kai! Since yesterday night I have seen another side of life that I haven't experienced before.
I can only imagine what you're going through. Everytime it crosses my mind i'll one day lose her, I quickly take my mind off it. It's not something I want to even think of.
larride: Truly the line item is under the Navy budget. The last time the Navy tried this rubbish was under Jonathan when he took over from Yar Adua in 2010, it was also included in the supplementary budget then before Jonathan administration strike it away.
They didnt try the rubbish with Buhari.
I'm surprised how it made it's way back into the supplementary budget 13yrs after
Who knows, maybe he asked for it to be included.
And just to be clear on something, even if it's under the naval budget. It is meant for the president.
Just like any purchase or maintenance of the presidential aircraft will be under the budget of the airforce.
liveLongNprospa: Lmao.. If my post seemed like an attack at you, I apologise. The issue is actually emotional abit because of the people being dealt with. Are there students into fraud? Yes. Are all students into fraud? No!
We talking young adults and I would expect at the very least, the efcc carry out proper investigation to be sure about this. Events like this can derail students mentally.
Even if we never travel out before, we dey watch movies. Before police can arrest you, they must have probable cause and obtain an arrest warrant from a judge.
Here, we do it backwards. We start with the arrest then free the innocent ones
If to say you be pastor, you for dey cashout. This Dumbo in one post said it is not for the president and the very next one, the navy wanted to buy it for Jonathan.
Pearl1910: How did u think u will pay for a Corolla for 3years without having a major repairs before finishing the contract? If u had put this into consideration and kept money aside for contingency u would have had enough savings or part to fix ur car properly. I always say ringing corolla engine while using it for ehailing is a waste of money. If u do it, then plan to buy engine in d next 2months.
I have given my advise already, u can't give me any justifiable reason why u couldn't pay 3.2m in 2years with a sound corolla, Irrespective of your agreement (except it was a problematic car) and also didn't have money in your account/cooperative/Ajo to fix ur car before partner collected it. It's one of the two, if I get a HP on 25/30k I would certainly have enough money in my account should anything happen, I am covered. Or I pay way more than the agreed sum and complete my payment before partner can say jack Robinson.
If it was a problematic naija used car that ur partner gave u, then u have reason to talk hard with ur partner and collect your car back but if he gave u a sound toks/clean corolla, then u have driven the life of the car with nothing to fall back on. That's on u.
I disagree with this.
Not when it is done right. I did one last year August and it's still running the length and breadth of PHC daily.
BlueRayDick: That means ur expectations were really highly o. Of all the 3 major candidates I knew Tinubu was the one that will spend Nigeria's money the most.
A part of me always felt that no one can be worse than Buhari.
Even though each president always turn out to be worse that their predecessor, Buhari was so bad that I thought just anyone else will be better.
Tinubu is fast proving me wrong. And in less than 5 months.
BlueRayDick: Let me tell u how I think this will play.
Tinubu's propagandists will probably time-travel to 2010 when it was reported by daily trust that the Navy wanted to buy presidential yatch for Jonathan.(whether the navy later bought it back then we never found out)
They will use whatever the outcome of the matter that time to Justify this Tinubu's move in this austerity period.
There's no limit to what even they can defend. 😂
Naira falls, it is finding it's true value. The rest of us except lawmakers should buy made in Nigeria goods if we want a stronger Naira.
blackbone989: I really lov d ride,it's not so expensive,d shape n beauty is really lovely. D AC is standard n d music is great. I just don't know y many advice against it. Any good car analyst pls explain this for me
The CVT transmissions are not so reliable. Beyond that, it's a good car. The manual transmission is the sweet spot.
A random individual no one knows comes on TV, says nonsense without any shred of evidence and people are parotting it. I will be very surprised if that guy was not paid to say it.
