Davido last great song was IF and Fall True. Every song sounds great during workout. Prospa and most fitness enthusiasts have poor music taste. |

Davido 2017 is probably the biggest 12months of a Nigerian artiste
Fall, IF Both are complete trash. No rythym, no melody. IF in particular feels like he was just talking. Both songs rank very low on my list of davido songs. I wouldn't even include them in my top 20. |

ojeysky: Honestly we don't and it's because there are lots of japa people selling their used cars, when that itinerary get dwindled then everyone go Sabi say na heavy duty vehicle hit us in this country in the person of Tinubu. The least they could have done is to adjust the duty tariff so that the FX impact does not change the clearing cost by over 80% within 3weeks. That wasn't enough now they have introduced charges by trim....more money. It's a very insensitive govt! I hear they even released new rate of 783 from 770 yesterday. This will translate to an additional 50-300k on clearing costs depending on the vehicle. |

BlueRayDick: Some of those bank staff too are not adequately trained jare. Some of them lack communication skills and emotional intelligence.
I believe banks make mistake of sending their best hands to places like Lekki, VI branches while they send the regular joes to places like Oke Arin branch. The fact that most of those tellers and Customer service guys are underpaid contract staff doesn't help matters. I dont know about Lagos but it doesn't work that way here in PH. Anyone can be in a tier 1 branch in an upscale environment today, tomorrow he's in a tier 3 branch in the trenches. They don't send good hands to specific branches. |

Most importantly, why can't they just use the actual cost of the vehicle if they must use USD. You will buy a vehicle on auction at 1,950 dollars. Customs will tell you the value is 9000 USD |

izzou: True...
The manpower is too little for the patients, and one can expect them to be toxic.
Go to Zenith bank in Victoria Island and the same one in Oke-Arin in Lagos Island. There would be a big difference in how they attend to you
The one in VI may just have paperworks to attend to, and may have time on her hands. The one in Lagos may have to count tattered 200 and 100 notes all day.
One dey vex. The other one dey calm.
Government hospitals are shitty but 95% of privates do not come close. If one has an illness that would be procedural, go tier 1 or go Government, especially for your good I once asked my wife the same question. She said its because the quality of customers are also different. If you tell the one in VI the issue has been logged and he should expect reversal within the next one week, he will thank you and leave. If you tell the one in Oke arin the same thing, the next thing you will hear is "what do you mean, I came here with the last money in my account and you're telling me one week. That money must come out today" Eventually, it gets to you and you just find yourself snapping at them. Maybe the same applies to government hospitals. Beyond the obvious fact that they are overworked. |

If APC of 2023 is telling you that PDP of 2013 was the last time Nigeria witnessed economic prosperity, why should someone vote the party in 2027?
If Obi likes, he should not merge with Atiku. Let us go in 2027 and vote APC, then come back and wish Obi merged with Atiku again. Winning election is beyond just voting as we have seen in the last election. Opposition parties have to unite as one to make it more difficult to rig. The goodwill of Obi plus the reach of Atiku was the winning formula required in the last election. |

shams040: How is FX rate affecting? are they charging in USD? Customs have something they call CIF value short for Cost, Insurance and Freight. In simple terms, it's the total estimated value of a car that customs pulls from thin air. So it doesn't matter how much you actually buy it. This CIF value is in USD and forms the basis of arriving at cost of clearing. |

BlueRayDick: There are so many private hospitals that are very good and even though they are not up to dem St. Nicholas , Lagoon hospital , Reddington ,Eko Hospital etc standard . I’ve used a couple of them in the past and I can confirm some of them have equally good doctors ( mostly doctors who work government jobs also work in those hospitals as side hustle ).
Some of the advantages those private hospitals have over government hospital is the fact that u can walk in anytime and have ur health issues attended to. Nobody will ask u to first go and pick an appointment date to see the doctor . They are more empathic ( which is something that is lost in public hospitals ; till this day my mum still tell tales of the shege she saw at Ayinke House during childbirth )
I remember sometimes around early this year I had issues with my ear and had to go to the hospital to complain . Less than 20 mins after seeing the doctor , they had the ENT specialist check my ear and a procedure was carried out . I was relieved after a day or two using the oral drugs I was given . I can’t imagine the same situation playing out in a private hospital .
I co-saw shege with the rest of my family at LASUTH last year . The bureaucracy , lack of human kindness and care free attitude of government hospital health workers is a huge turn off for me . I will pick a decent private hospital above dem LASUTH any day anytime on general medicine issues I agree with you here. They lack empathy and have this I dont care attitude that I can't really describe. Until someone has an accident and the bone is completely crushed or someone has been shot, nothing is an emergency. They will just leave you there in the waiting room. Thank God for HMO. Nothing will make me visit a government hospital. The good doctors in public hospitals are still consultants in private hospitals. All the surgeons in UCH, LUTH e.t.c have private hospitals that use them. Wetin person con dey find in government hospital again? |

Na God say Fubara say he no believe this kind lamba, he would've become ex-governor by now. That's why I added that they are loyal to Wike. So it easily can be a lie. And it can be true. Even if it's a lie and SIM was being targeted, then he has BAT to thank for saving him |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 5:19pm On Nov 09, 2023 |
BlueRayDick: I really don't understand how Wike won this round o.
Wike planned to impeach Fubara using the HOA members, Fubara's loyalists foiled the attempt and Fubara is still the governor as of today.
Whatever compromise they both reached behind closed doors we don't know, but what we do know is that the impeachment move failed and Fubara will most likely finish his 4 year term. Maybe Wike will win the war eventually, but this first round of battle surely favored Fubara.
Or how u take see am ? You have to go back to the origin of the fight. Fubara wanted to hijack the structure from Wike. So far, he has failed. Wike still controls the entire PDP structure. And according to the statement by the Rivers State elders(loyal to Wike I have to add), there was never any plan to impeach Fubara. The person they wanted to impeach was Edison Ehie who was the majority leader of the house. SIM got wind of it and thought he was being targeted. |

GeneralZodd: Buying more might be a very big risk, from the information I got from an impeccable source, FG wants to digitise dollar in Nigeria. Like turn into crypto form to curb hoarding and speculation. Hoarders and speculators are the major reasons why the rate is astronomically high. This policy is likely to be implemented next year.
I will stop buying as from next year to see how it goes The only reason it's still at this rate is because CBN is seriously defending it on the I&E window. You can only speculate on a scarce commodity. It is high because CBN has no dollar to meet demand not because of speculators. The people hoarding it know CBN has no dollars to permanently force down the price. Long term, the naira will always lose till they are ready to turn around the country. Funny enough, they have even borrowed the future earnings from NNPC which is the primary source of Fx to defend the naira. I'm not seeing any sign of seriousness to stabilise the naira beyond lofty promises. |

Spy360: I think Fubara is the real winner in this battle. He stoops low to conquer.
One is that he has taken that absolute control of Wike from off his neck. Two is that he has stopped the fracas by massaging Wike's ego, this will make Wike stay on his lane.
By the next election season many things could have happened including him building his own base or Wike losing his. Lol, he didn't win anything. Wike still controls everything. Wike is also not a fool. He knows SIM is no longer to be trusted. He already even hinted it in one of his press conferences that the last election may be over but another one is coming. |
