Peaceandjoy54: Appreciate you sir. But there was no reparation. The last one that was done has been there since. It only stopped about 3days ago responding. No touch on the screen work. They said, maybe its an accidental code entered when placed inside bag.
Fast boot doesnt work too.
when you say '...the last one that was done...' what do you mean?
Peaceandjoy54: This is vivo y12. The phone has been working but just 3days ago, it just display emergency only. Even when sim was inserted. It brings 4G. Everything works fine.
The issue
The screen is not responsive. Not blank, not dark. It displays perfectly. But enter pin to unlock, screen unresponsive.. Nothing you cam do on the screen, it ddoesnt respond.
Fast reboot.
Was rebooted into recovery and to even select the option, no response by touch on screen or using volume key to scroll down, power button to confirm
Pls urgent solution.
The interface that gives tactile feedback to the screen has been disconnected from it. It has to be reconnected or changed. This usually arises from the dismantling of the screen area during a previous reparation of the phone, so an oversight or displacement during recoupling can lead to this. Vivo is sweet until it develops an issue, then you might be scared of using Vivo ever again.
DanOkonkwo: THE TRANSIENT NATURE OF LIFE: THEY WILL FORGET YOU QUICKLY**
By Dan Okonkwo
Death is not the end. Being forgotten is the end.
When you die, this is what will happen:
Day 1:Your picture will be everywhere. "RIP, he was a good man." People who haven't called you in 5 years will post you with tears. Your WhatsApp will be full. "So sad."
Day 3:They will bury you. People will cry loudly at the grave. Some will faint. They will promise your mother "we will always be there for your children."
Day 7: Your friends will go back to work. Your Facebook profile will still be there but fewer comments.
Day 30: Your wife will still be crying every night when the children sleep. But your friends have already started laughing again. Someone will even tell a joke at your expense: "If he was here, he for..."
Month 3:Your children have gone back to school. Your wife has to start thinking how to pay rent. Those who promised "we will always be there" are not picking calls.
Month 6:Your phone number has been given to someone else. Someone else is using your office. Someone else is sitting where you sat in church.
Year 1:They will do one-year remembrance. Only 10 people will come. Your picture on Facebook has no likes again.
Year 2: Even your best friend will struggle to remember your death date. Your wife has been told to "move on, you are still young."
Year 5:Your children will be asked in school "who is your father?" They will try to remember your voice. Your Facebook account will be reported and deleted.
That is life.
We fight for cars, for land, for followers, for who is more popular on Facebook. But the grave swallows everything and the world continues like you never existed.
That is why you must stop living for people.
Because the same people you are trying to impress will forget your name before your body decays.
Live for God. Live for your children. Live for the few people who will cry when you are gone and still remember you after one year.
Because in the end, the crowd that claps for you today will clap for the person who replaces you tomorrow.
Very true. Though there are some people who are never forgotten, especially in cases where the deceased is connected to the people or persons in a very essential way.
L1TTLE: Or maybe i really cared, if someone is indifferent and shows no reaction to your rejection it means you're not really serious to him in the first place, you might just be another conquest, your interpretation is flawed.
Lol how do you 'really care' for someone you know nothing or almost nothing about? By your reasoning, you 'really cared' for every girl you approached. If this is the case then yours is a case of naivety.
MiddleDimension: I would like those who have actually done this or are in a position to know about the topic, to please tell me.
Someone, a novice in french, is thinking of learning french so he/she can take the exam two years from now to be qualified for PR within 2 years. Person's age: 35 -40.
So, is this realistic? Is the french exam like IELTS where you don't only need to be able to speak the language at just any level, to be able to pass?
NB: No sugar coating, only the truth and nothing but the truth is needed and appreciated here.
There are 3 factors, or questions rather: 1. Does the person have an ear for languages? 2. Who is teaching the person? Is it a Teacher or a Lecturer? 3. What's the language level of the teacher? Learning another language in two years without having to be in the locality of the language is the first challenge.
daddy001: No. Brahma chickens are not genetically modified (GMO) chickens. Their hairy feet are the result of natural genetic inheritance and selective breeding, not genetic engineering.
Mr man go and do your research on the origin of the Brahma breed. Tomorrow if they show you a dog that has horns, you will begin to spew another 'selective breeding' drool. Lol Ndi isi ojii
L1TTLE: of course I wanted her to say yes, people don't take the big step of asking girls out if they don't hope for a yes.
That's normal but if that were the only case, you would feel at most indifferent to her answer given the understanding that one man's food is another's poison. But for her answer to affect you more than just a usual 'no' it means there's something more added to your desire for her to say 'yes'. In some cases, it could be 'sense of entitlement', in another case it could be 'fear of rejection', it could as well be another factor.
Christlike01: The Aros and Ibibios are not your brothers; you are Ibo. This "attaché by force" won't help your cause. Remember, I informed you earlier that even in the present Southeast, the original Ibos are a minority. That is the truth.
Now, let me educate you a little about your so-called "history":
History doesn't care about your emotional rants. You can lie and deflect for all I care, but the truth is the truth. Before the generalization of the Ibo identity among all Easterners for administrative convenience, the concentration of what are today known as Ibos were the people of Awka in Anambra down to the hinterlands of Imo towards the Imo River. These were the Isu people, and these were the same people whom the ancestors of ANIOMA called the IGBO, while those of the Ikwerres and Ijaws referred to them as Isuoma. It's important to state that those descriptives were used as slurs against the Ibos.
Abia was primarily Akwa cross people. From Aro to Old Bende to Ohafia, Umuahia, they were all of Ibibio descent.
The people of Enugu are mainly of Igala heritage and Jukun ancestry.
Ebonyi people are of Igala ancestry and the Orings.
The other parts of Anambra, from Nri to Agwukwu to Onitsha, and other riverine areas of Anambra and beyond, are all of Igala and Edo ancestry.
Some parts of Imo are also of Aniocha heritage, like the Ogute people. The Egbema people of Imo are of Ikwerre heritage.
So, it is very clear that the Ibos as we know them today are just a construct created by the British. The only reason some of these non-original IGBO groups, who are now identifying as Ibos, is simply due to a lack of knowledge of their noble heritage and because Ibos have fraudulently been identified as the third-largest ethnic group in Nigeria. The Ibos are actually a minority group in Nigeria. Some of these individuals want to continue falsely identifying as Ibos to cling to the falsehood that "Ibo is a majority ethnic group." For instance, Mr. Alex Otti of Abia State is ancestrally not an Ibo man; he is an Ibibio— an Aro man with a rich history.
History doesn't care about your emotions, boy. You can rant for all I care, but the truth is the truth. It's sad that you see this as a form of entertainment rather than the real education it is — the one you lack.
Ngwa! Mr No ID a.k.a Tales-By-Moonlight Newsman, what's the delay? Don't tell us you are tired of recanting. We warned you but you insisted, now you must finish your story because we are now interested. If you don't have palm wine don't worry we brought. Come out of your hiding, we're waiting. "Uncle please tell us another story..." Onye gba ôsô...
youngEmelex: If Tinubu can hire 500k people who attended his campaign rally in Kaduna, he can as well hire those numbers on election day to vote him.
The opposition should stop throwing weak punches and put themselves together to defeat Tinubu.
All these senseless talks were all over the media prior to 2023 election and repeating them changes nothing.
While you are wailing, making videos and talking rubbish on social media in the name of opposition, Tinubu is putting structures on ground for a massive victory.
Emotions and sentiments don't remove someone who is already holding power especially in Africa.
Don't be deceived into the assumption that Nigerians are tired and want a better life. About 80% of the people in Nigeria don't even know the difference between the hole in their mouth and the one in their anus.
Fela wasn't on weed when he sang about zombies. He wrote that song after studying the nature of Nigerians for years.
Lol they won't say they were not reminded or forewarned.
chinedu234: Today, I analyse price of fish feed popular in Nigeria catfish farming business . The price of this very popular 6mm brand was #5,300 per 15kg bag before the thoughtless pronunciation of subsidy gone. The economic shock and impact of this statement eventually led to a settling price of #16,000/bag. Demand response as predictable was very low. Then the suppliers had to rescue their business. The fish farmers suddenly realized that fishes they grew in four months started witnessing delayed growth up to seven months. The cause? Quality of feed has been drastically reduced. So despite skyrocketing prices of the feed, quality had been tampered with probably up to twenty percent. In other words, a bag of feed that increased in price by over 200% still required a value reduction of about 20% to survive the economic shock of subsidy gone. And presently even with the value reduction in quality, the same Feed sells for about #18,600 demonstrating a further inflation rate rise of about 16.25% from the initial shock period. I have committed to this analysis to inform Nigerians about the reality of the economy especially as impacted by the very unwise statement of subsidy gone. The series is not over as we will throw out the reality in the building and chemical sectors. We will continue to understand why businesses keep slowing and winding down. The only sectors that seem to be doing well are politics and oil block operations. Please keep paying attention.
It's happening in real time, the contraption is grinding to an expired halt.
BlackViper: Wasn't it Tinubu glasses your husband was wearing when he stumbled and fell yakata in front of the whole world?
And wasn’t it Tinubu glasses that made you see frying akara and puff puff as a way of lifting Nigerian women out of poverty?
Maybe if we wear jigi tinubu, we will see 200 naira per litre of petrol in filling stations instead of the N1,400 that we currently see. Abi una put jazz for the glasses?
E be like say you and your husband have already de-marketed the jigi tinubu that you're desperate to sell to us.
muhmeen: Posts claim a house help in Nigeria laced a child's school indomie noodles and family stew with rat poison, saying she did it out of curiosity.
The food's odd color and smell tipped off the teacher, who often fed the child and quickly raised the alarm, preventing harm.
While unverified by officials, the story echoes past cases like a 2017 housemaid arrest in Ondo State and a recent Lagos incident, prompting talks on vetting domestic workers and child safety.

By the time you're done, you'll be reeking of explanation and tales. One with no identity is nothing but lost. While we know ours and are proud of it, you should go and learn yours and then you can do whatever you like with it. Being pained, won't change anything.
