No, you know nothing about history and neither do you have the intellect to understand it. You didn't arrive at this, you simply mixed together several rantings of online illiterates. FYI and others like you. There is no such thing as pure Yoruba or any other ethnic group for that matter. This will shock you but it is the reality of the world we live in. |

This is expected. Biden made stupid mistake ostracising America's once reliable ally in the middle east for no reason. He chose to court Iran who don't care about the US.
He even delayed restocking Saudi's missile defense system giving Houthis a huge leverage until the energy crisis started with Russian invasion.
Now, he can't get Saudi to increase oil production, neither can he beg Iran due to the nuclear issues.
It is the Democrats I really pitied because they are keeping quiet on the face of danger because Biden is promoting progressive policies that any Republican president can reverse with a stroke of pen. |

Or are you hoping that China is invaded so as to liberate the "oppressed" victims of lockdown? What's your endgame? |

NoToPile: Well something must have happened for her to tweet that, why didn't the boys want her to leave too, we don't even know what their intentions were.
In these days of ritual killing maybe she was scared as they didn't allow her leave, Most acts of molestation are carried out by people we know and trust anyways, maybe she shouldn't have wrote kidnap and rape. 'preventing me from leaving might have sounded better grammatically'
I don't blame her for raising an alarm, maybe it should have been worded more carefully, maybe just maybe, but stranger things have happened.
Either way Nigerians should let the police do their job, they no respond wahala, they responded wahala.
Something must have happened for her to raise that alarm though it might seem a false one and the police have said it's wrong full restraining after interrogation we should leave them to do their job ooo.
I feel it's better for her to get arraigned for wrongful information than actually get raped and those boys too arraigned for restraining.
Everybody head go reset. It is better she made that tweet and be jailed than end up dead with no trace. She has been a regular "visitor" to the boys. So she has no reason to defame them right inside their house without any form of threat from the guys. People who accuse falsely in this kind of cases do it after leaving the accused house. Perhaps, it is a prank or fight gone wrong, or one party misread the threat level or the accused backed down on their initial plan after the tweet. |

Thanksful: If she was restrained as claimed by the police, why didn't the guys that her phone or she was too powerful for them?
We know say nah the police told the girl what to say to reduce the degree of her offense when she and her parents were invited by the DPO with any of the accused people present. Don't just comment for comment sake. Locking the door to prevent her leaving is a restraint. Blocking an exit is a restraint. Restraint doesn't means tied down with very strong ropes. |

BabaO2: It doesn't add up Tinubu used osinbajo as his number 1 law officer for 8 years, that's a big trust. Even from the mischievous analysis, if he didn't approve osinbajo, Osinbajo wouldn't have been vp. As at the time of the 2015 election, aregbesola was one of the major tink tank of Tinubu structure, it doesnt matter who named osinbajo. Another lie and childish beleive talk is buhari's overbearing attitude when he has not become or even sure of becoming president. The only truth is, no one should and can claim the actual understanding of Osinbajo's vp nomination and approval between Tinubu and Buhari. Buhari himself was helped to be apc candidate, not by his power or sagacity, but by sagacity of Tinubu. What doesn't add up? Wasn't Ambode trusted in the past, did that stop him from being disowned later? Political choices changes with interest, trust is secondary. There are three versions of the story and they all point to the same fact if you read between the line. |

nzeobi: Anambra was peaceful during and after the election,it was when he was sworn in that he started with his oversabi that is causing the crises now. Was he elected to cancel sit at home or fight IPOB or was that part of his election promises. Anyway let him continue speaking big English before you know time will elapse and he will realize that governance is not about parking dustbin and posting pictures on social media Anambra was not peaceful close to and during the elections. We can still remember the number of deaths and arson carried out as well as the threat of "no election" and the reactive emergency rule by the AGF. Soludo discussed with Ipob leaders who assured him that the sit at home has been cancelled. Then he announced the same to the people only for Ekpa to threaten violence. Why is Ekpa hiding under the Ipob banner when he has never been a member nor a spokesman for the group? |

tonysunkan: History has a way of repeating itself. By contesting against his benefactor, Osinbajo is allowing himself to be misguided and used. This was the same thing that happened to Chief SLA Akintola against Awolowo in 1960s. Definately, it is another season of betrayal. Only a myopic and ignorant person will compare Awolowo with Tinubu in any capacity. Rather than embarrass yourself by repeating internet jargons from illiterates, go and read the proper history. |

mach7: You obviously do not know or understand the terms of the Budapest Memorandum.
The memorandum was signed by Russia, the US and the UK guaranteeing Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity if they gave up their nuclear weapons and agreed to stay neutral
This second part was violated by the US and Ukraine in the Bucharest Summit of 2008 which gave Ukraine a NATO accession plan.
As to the claims that there wasn't any agreement on non expansion of NATO to the East, that's also false. There was a verbal agreement and this was verified by Der Spiegel (a German newspaper) from British archives.
If you are Anti-Russia, that's understandable but the facts remain the facts and they can't be twisted. You guys should show some originality, I mean repeating fake history almost verbatim is becoming stale. You either need a lesson in comprehension or you have been sucked into Putin's sneaky propaganda or you may even be one of the agents. That document isn't too long, read and think for yourself. Budapest is simply an exchange of Nuclear warhead for Sovereignty guarantee, nothing more. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Horror. Russian Troops Raped 25 Women, Impregnated 9 And Girls As Young As 14. by ivolt: 6:18am On Apr 13, 2022 |
This is no news. Russian soldiers are trained more in the art of rape than actual fighting. While other country recruits patriotic citizens to defend their territory, the promise of rape without consequence is the primary attraction for the Russian recruits.
When they invaded Germany in world war 2, the Russian soldiers gang-raped over a million German women openly and celebrated it. Thousands of the victims committed suicide and hundreds of thousands opt for abortion.
Nobody questioned the rapists then because they were part of the allies.
During the Chechnya invasion, Russian troops were unofficially tasked with raping at least one woman per day as revenge for the regions resisting the invasion. |

maasoap: Relevance as far as politics is concerned. And many people including his current supporters will realise that he's not someone to be trusted. Just continue to watch "Relevance" is meaningless here. It is normal in Nigeria and other countries that politicians who are no longer in office lose most of their influence. Only few like Tinubu through accident or scheming continue to dictate their state affairs. You don't really believe that a man who doesn't wield any political power before getting VP would suddenly become much more powerful after office and enjoy "relevance" if he stays "loyal". If he didn't make any move, he will retire as a VP and go back to his quiet life before VP. If he makes a move and lost, the outcome is still the same. He really has nothing to lose. |
