tunapawizzy: @bolded i have not said anything to suggest i dont agree with that, i am not narrowing my talk to APC..its the larger picture, the real election, just saying people should vote someone that can do the job...i personally think voting apc again will translate to rewarding failure....my opinion, u dont have to agree.
You are right and entitled to your choice. But you have to understand that Nigeria has no political party but platforms. If you vote for a Republican in the US, you can expect the candidate to be tough on crime, lower taxes, higher military support and be anti-abortion.
But voting for Umahi in APC or Atiku in PDP for example is voting for those candidates. You get a government of Umahi or Atiku and not PDP or APC as past experience has shown at the federal level.
That is why I laugh when Buhari's spokesman frequently blames 16 years of PDP. There was no such regime as they were run very differently depending on who was in charge.
What I am against are candidates who can't survive without politics or those are so desperate to do anything for power.
tunapawizzy: thats to tell you his mindset..he thinks a young man has no right to rule ......the man has lost it...I am a Yoruba man but i am happy this is happening...God will send confusion to the camp of the enemies and i hope the people will have sense for once and use that opportunity to vote a candidate that can the job done.....it cant be that difficult
Stop looking for miracles or saints, it doesn't apply to government. Smart politics is about choosing the least bad candidate.
joe54: Nigerian politicians seems to be overwhelmed with greed and want to enrich themselves and their families. Every election season they shamelessly present themselves for public office and the confused populace cheer them up.
Who is to blame: the politicians or the followers?
kiddkash: you lie. 1. it is the Azov battalion that should be disbanded. google Azov battalion, then you'll know who they are 3. he said Russian will be second official language not the first. because they are trying to erase all Russian speakers. they banned it in their schools, and refused to protect Russian speaker being killed in Ukraine since 2008 4. He said only Crimea, because it was given to Ukraine after soviet collapse
get your facts right and stop spreading lies and misinformation in order to be relevant
He said, he said he said as if he is some kind of god.
I have no time for kids. Go play with your age mates.
There are different flavors to being a bastard. A full grown adult with no life direction or solid career but using her father's name to collect political favors can be considered a bastard.
These were Putin's peaceful demands for Ukraine or he invades.
1. Ukrainian armed forces must be disbanded. 2. All government officials should resign and handover to pro-Russia group because they are all "Nazis". 3. Make Russian language the sole official language. 4. Cede the entire eastern Ukraine to Russia.
If Zelensky was wise, he would have accepted all the demands without complaining and thank Putin for his generous peace offers. After all, slavery is better than war!
So which candidate really believes in restructure? None. There are many reasons you may dislike Tinubu as a candidate, but on the issue of restructuring, all the candidates are equal regardless of what they say.
There have been calls by political and traditional leaders from the South-east for Mr Kanu’s release as part of efforts to stem the violence in the region. President Muhammadu Buhari has, however, rejected such calls, saying the trial of Mr Kanu should run its course.
Those making the call are dumb. The first time Kanu was released, violence and intimidation increased exponentially.
Releasing a terrorist leader for "peace" have never worked anywhere in the world. It emboldens them more.
willi926: From my small understanding, Putin was just trying to protect his Russia territories and interests by asking NATO to stay back and stop coming closer east ward. But Eu and america saw it as a bluff thereby opening there arms to embrace Ukraine and Georgia. So na America and Eu first start to dey find trouble.
You obviously have no understanding. Nobody is forcing Russia to do anything and Putin has no right to dictate to sovereign countries whichever path they choose.
Hired by then President Goodluck Jonathan in the wake of the Chibok schoolgirl abduction, the mercenaries were credited with driving Boko Haram out of most of their strongholds in north-east Nigeria.
But after just three months, their contract was cancelled by incoming President Muhammadu Buhari, a former general, who told The Telegraph at the time that the Nigerian army should be able to do the job alone.
