Christianity Etc › Re: Nairaland Christian E-Fellowship by Ivynwa(f): 8:39pm On Nov 23, 2010
@Brother Oladegbu
Please sir if you read this, do help me out with this okay.
I need you to help me extend the word of God to a brother in this Nairaland, I long to see him develop a good relationship with God and have tried to reach out to him by sharing bible verses but he is very unhappy with me and in that frame of mind against me he may not allow my words permeate him which is why I need the help of another mature christian person.
It is not enough that we all talk about our brothers and sisters in christ that are erring without making effort to turn their heart to God which is my main purpose of wishing that the christian community reach out to him.
I don't even know his real name but you can contact him at this email nkemakolam4echidime@yahoo.com
Just see how you send him the words of God from time to time if possible or what will you suggest?

Luizworld, now that you are here let me see how much good music I can get out of you. I know that you are a lover of good music so I am going to digress from trance a bit and share other music I like. You can send me good jamz or any type of good music okay.
I just heard this Bobby Brackins 143 collabo with J Ray in a mall now and I am playing it back home, it's kind of nice. A kind of Janet Jackson's 5432-----you can have it here----I am sure you are familiar with it already as it's months old though I am just hearing it for the first time today. I am really lagging behind in some current music having other things keeping one busy.

Family › Re: I'm Thinking Of Walking Out Of My Marriage by Ivynwa(f): 6:36am On Nov 23, 2010
Oh my God!
I am a bit dumbfounded by this thread. We the posters should be careful with the things we advise people really because from the look of things this two couples were at tether's end (even though it's over a year now and I believe that peace have returned to both of them).
I must say that the people that advised did a good job. I mean how can you begin to tongue lash and blame a man in that state of mind and with his blood pressure rising and capillaries breaking (you may end up worsening it) and how do you begin to rebuke an unhappy wife who got told by the man whose baby she was carrying that he regrets having her as a wife (you will be doing her a great injustice)  [/i] (even though our wify should (1)pipe down a bit and mellow down on such words as "liar" and may be try using softer tone on hubby and (2)give him a little room to flex a lil bit as the man which is good for his ego and (3)give him some lil privacy too (what with knowing every detailed amount and having PINS?, same with hubby---(1)what with intruding on her privacy and spying on her password and stuff))
Anyway sha you both struck me as a very intelligent couple that lost trust and understanding of each other or tell me how wify would have sniffed out this thread in the first place. The spyware and this thread are the evidence of the lost of trust and misunderstanding but thanks to God and our wonderful Nairalanders who intervened without fear or favour. Isn't that one thing I cherish about my Naija, we are such a loving communal people that when a child errs the whole community have the right to chide the child and put him/her aright. God bless you all. Amen.

He-he!Me self I follow NubianQ do mugu no be small self. I can't remember all but the little I can remember is this one.
Travelled to a far distance from home to a town in my state to visit a boy my cousin introduced me to in my hometown during xmas. On getting there, boy took me to a restaurant where we ate some peppersoup. When we were done eating, boy asks for a repayment of his peppersoup by pleading that we get into one of the rooms there to make out. I bursted into tears, crying because in my innocent heart I never believed that my angelic loverboy(whose letters have been making my heart go jigijigi gbam gbam) is such a sinner as to mention bedding a woman.  grin grin grin I bet he was shocked to the marrow as he consoled me while he walked me back to the busstop disappointed.

Poor darling!
Only prayer and closeness to God can thaw a heart that hardened as to punish her spouse with coldness in bed and keep malice with her mother for weeks to the point of the mother coming to beg. Pray hard dear that God will soften her heart.
She can do with counselling and more communication from you(as advised by Jaybee which includes exposure to adult films and the likes) in order to help her shed her misgivings and misconceptions of sex. It seems that such misgivings are among the stuffs building walls between you two. She seems to have much growing up to do and sure needs you to help her grow, don't consider divorce instead consider her as a child that needs to be put right that way you can maintain patience and be able to support and help her grow. Wishing you all the best!

One of the unwritten rules of dating is to stay clear of your date's friends, it's a No! No! to eye and ogle your friend's friends. When you realized that she was sexy, you should have asked yourself what you found attractive and if it were the way she dressed, had your first gal looking that sexy too by encouraging her to dress more cutie cutie for you. You need to inject some level of integrity in your magic stick so that when it starts getting excited, it can at least think (no offence meant). I will advise that you cool it for a while and stay clear of both so that you can think straight because you are about stirring a bee's honeycomb for the two ladies as it is now. @Cocoa girl
You can have this definition of Trance music according to wikipedia:
Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that developed in the 1990s. Trance music is generally characterized by a tempo of between 120 and 140 BPM, short melodic synthesizer phrases, and a musical form that builds up and down throughout a track. It is a combination of many forms of music such as industrial, techno, and house. The origin of the term is uncertain, with some suggesting that the term is derived from the Klaus Schulze album Trancefer (1981) or the early trance act Dance 2 Trance.

I understand how you and the other Naijas in your community feel about what happened to our Olu and how he played on the trust of the church body and brought some disgrace on you guys but do bear with him , he was only undergoing some little journey through the school of hard knocks and will come out wiser for sure. Forgive him too, he is a lot better than some dudes that try to deceive the world to get all their money off their pockets.
One other lesson that should be learnt here is that we should learn to train children in such a way that when they are out there they can be independent enough to take care of themselves, parents are not always there forever to pet and provide for their every whims.

Which woman will answer call in that position much more moan to the hearing of a person speaking on the other side of the phone, if she were with sb she will not even want to make any noise to your hearing.
She is telling you the truth believe her, jeans and clothes can give out sounds when being pulled on so she may not be lying. You shouldn't be that suspicious or your new found love won't even pass the door of your bedroom much more get to a level you two can meet and know each other more and if you two have not met for the first time, I will advise that you make effort and meet soon and be sure you really like yourselves before going crazy with love and fondness to avoid disappointment and heartbreak my brother.

The Fact that you separated and made back up shows that you two have great understanding and tolerance and can weather storms.

@Vivaladiva
You dey mind that one talking like that, some men can be overly self righteous. How about the women the man has been with during that one year period, why do women always get judged and castigated by self righteous men. The self righteousness of some Nigerian men is causing problems for us all in Naija. It is what makes some women abort up and down so that men won't (get self righteous on them) and run away from them when they are single mothers.

Viva girl are we not arriving at the same place we once met----somewhere in some thread defending our womenfolk----guess both of us should be renamed the defence heads of the Nigerian women forces lol.
