eleko1:Your contribution reeks of ignorance. Did you even listen to the video clips at all? The man action is not justified in any manner. Whenever I miss a test, I would usually go to the lecturer and tell him why I missed his test, and if there would be another way of grading me aside the test. Some would give you a term paper topic to research on, while others would simply tell you to focus on the exams. There is no crime in what she did. What I can't believe is that you wrote that piece of shit up there in an attempt to defend a wicked individual. |
Sorry about the ugly experience. This reminds me of my encounter with some police officers late last year on my way to work (I was doing my industry training in a health care facility) I was on bike, so one of the police officer stopped my bike. Police Officer: Who are you? And What do you do? Me: Am a medical student (I lied, I am studying anatomy , but it would take forever to explain what anatomy means to this guy) Police Officer: What's in your bag? (I had a laptop bag on me, but it contained my laboratory coat) Me: Lab Coat. Police Officer: Where is the receipt? Me: (Smiling, but didn't want to appear rude). Receipt? For What sir? Police Officer : To the laptop in your bag?!!! I won't let you leave if you can provide the receipt. (His countenance changed almost instantly) Me: (Opened my bag and handed him the lab coat). They don't issue receipt for this, but I can always leave it here if it needs to be examined as a stolen item sir. He was angry and left my bike... It's probably the best encounter I've had with the police. |
SuperSupremo:Na so ignorance dey kill people. Now you will start screaming say you poor, begging government for 5k allowance. |
Money is important! People say all sort of things about money, some people believe it’s evil and all that, but the truth still remains that, money is freaking important! This makes it imperative for us as human being to learn how to make money, and if we are good at what we do, then we stand a chance of making lots of money. What then can you do if you really want to be rich in the next five (5) years?…. It’s simple! Learn the art of selling. Learn how to sell to people. That’s the only thing you need in other to become extremely rich within a short period of time. Learn how to persuade people to buy from you. Look around you, you’d discover that selling is the most prevailing means of acquiring wealth (legally). Musician sell their skills, footballer sell their skills, people sell stuffs everywhere. Selling is always happening around us. Learn how to sell anything to people. Learn how to sell yourself. MTN is selling their service, they put out all sort of promos to keep you buying from them. Facebook is selling to people that buy ads space on the site, the road side hawker is trying to sell something. This is the most important skill to have in this 21st century. All you have to do is find a product or service, get the product at a cheaper price, probably oversea or in a local community, then sell elsewhere at a decent profit margin. This is what importers do. They find a product in let’s say China, they buy in bulk and sell at a decent profit margin in Nigeria. If it’s services you’d like to sell, all you have to do is find people that are willing to do the work at a cheaper price. Then sell the service to those willing to pay more than normal price. This is very common among freelancers. I have a friend that makes tons of cash from this method, he simply hire Indians to write for him at a cheaper price. Want to be rich in 5years? Learn how to sell. Over to you, if you were to give a suggestion on one thing and one thing alone as regards getting rich in the next five years, what would be your advice? https://www.oksprout.com/2016/05/one-thing-you-need-to-learn-if-you-want-to-get-rich-in-5years-time/ |
Don't limit yourself with some low paying job. I am a final year student, and I make not less than 50k per month, passively. Although the source of the money won't make a career for me, I still don't know how to factor my online success into my cv. (not like am interested in having a career anyway), but I have savings, with the hope of investing the money on my education after this degree. MORAL: Look beyond your environment, do something other than the teaching, take up tutoring job on the Internet (if you're good with what you studied.) Just find something lucrative and be good at it, find a way of making money from it, then find a way of automating the process. PS: Please no pm, you probably won't make a dime from my model of business. So don't bother asking me how. |

More points: 1. Dont blog about "How to Make Money" When you're not making a dime yourself. 2. Relationship is the most important thing as far as blogging is concerned! Connect with fellow bloggers. Submit guest post; leave comment on each others blog; Atleast until you have genuine audience. 3. Forget the money part, because you WON'T make any serious money in the first 6months. |
Scored above 70 percent in all subjects . I reviewed only past questions. It's the cheapest exam you will take in your life. |

Hello moderators! I'd like to know why my previous thread was removed. I have not violated any rule of the forum! Even if I did something of such; It's only normal that you send a warning and i'd make corrections as appropriate. This is totally unprofessional, and I would appreciate a concise explanation as to why all the comments were blocked. |

Atmmachine:Last week? Nobody killed 15 people in Texas last week abeg. Are you referring to San Bernardino shooting? Either ways; Nigeria just brought the wrath of the dangerous Islamic sect upon herself. Nigeria wants to fight ISIL? with what sef? nonsense. |

I just want them to do the following: 1. RETURN the stolen loot! (This is the most important) 2. Serve At least a thousand hours of community service 3. Apologise to the entire nation through popular media. NB: Please don't send them to jail! They would cost the nation more money! They get free food and housing in jail. But the thousand hours of community service should be enforced. Let them sweep the roads; clear traffic and pack sewage bags. That will be justice served! |
Money makes a lot of difference! |
radiokilla:You're right! Content is the key to dominating search engine result page. Most blog post on my long are in the leagues of 2000 words, stuffed with the right keyword both in the head tag and content. Proper keyword research + well written content dictates about 40% of the Google ranking factor. |

SEO is one of the poorly discussed topics among Nigerian bloggers; mostly because a larger percentage of Nigerian bloggers are in the entertainment niche. To clarify a lot of issues about this topic; mostly to enlighten Nigeria bloggers about what SEO is and what SEO is not; I decided to interview a Nigerian pro-blogger about SEO and how he has been keeping up on his end as far s SEO is concerned. If you don't know who Don Caprio is; then you're not yet in the system (You're not yet a blogger per se) because his blog won the best tech blog last year during the Nigerian blog Award festival. During my interview, we spoke about the transitioning of his blog from doncaprio.com to geek.ng, we spoke about the challenges he faced, we spoke about his SEO effort, we spoke about what bloggers with little knowledge of SEO and low budget can do to kick off SEO campaign for their blog. It's an exculsive interview, but I would list out the take home lessons from the interview on here. And Would write a short note on each of the lessons. If however, you're interested in reading the entire interview in Don's word, then you can please check the source for more information. 1. Choose the right domain: Don spoke about the important of choosing the right domain right from the start. He said; if he were to start blogging all over again; he would dedicate enough time to think about the right domain name for his blog. Remember; that domain name is like your business name, and you won't just give you business any name. You would dedicate enough time to choose your domain name because it can make or mar your blogging career. Although he didn't talk about using keywords in domain name; I have a blog post that covers that on my blog. you can head over to read more on that. 2. Quality Content: Don couldn't emphasize the importance of publishing quality blog post more. He said; "Your links are quite useless with crappy content and bad site navigation"So it is very important that you publish something worth reading and linking to before you start thinking about SEO. He shared more advice about publishing quality contents; check the full interview for more information on that. 3. OnPage SEO: He laid emphasize on the importance of onpage SEO. In case you don't know what onPage SEO means; it's all about site navigation, page speed, internal content linking and general blog design for easy usability by visitors. It also has to do with optimizing your blog for mobile users. 4. Avoid Spammy link: He spoke about the importance of getting quality back link over quantity. He gave a solid advice on DA (Domain Authority) and PA (Page Authority) when it comes to getting backlinks for your blog. You should read about this; if guest posting is one of your backlinking strategy. 5. Social Media: He said as a pro-blogger, if he's low on budget and he wants to get Google to notice his blog; he would invest in social media marketing for a short term result and SEO for long term result. This summary does not do justice to the quality information embedded in this interview. If you would like to read the full excerpt; check the source. http://www.oksprout.com/2015/12/link-building/ |
