darknetcom:Your cell phone is an imported item. MTN is an imported service. 80% of your clothing are imported from forming country. The fuel in your car and generator is imported. Your car, your generator, your pen, your shoe, you fan, your AC, your matches, a larger percentage of the medication you take. Surgical equipments, electrical appliances... Every damn thing is imported. Our foreign reserve is denominated in dollar, so no, we can't forget about dollars because it dictates our purchase price over here. And we're not producing anything in Nigeria. We're not supposed to be an inventing nation, we're supposed to be an Agricultural nation, producing millions of grains, cocoa and other agricultural products for export, while we sell crude oil as well. It's too late for us to start "inventing" in this part of the world. We're laid back, thousands of years behind. We're just bleeped because our leaders can't see this. |

If you waste your 20’s, your 30’s would be rough… Be Good At Something. This is the appropriate time of your life to master something. It might be your meal ticket few years from now; or not. It might be the skill that would save your life in the future. Most people in their 20’s focus on the idea of graduating from school, getting a job and “settling down”. If you have this mindset, you’re setting yourself up for an average life. The average life is very boring, and most people in that circus end up living hands to mouth. You don’t want that do you? The message here is to look at something lucrative or something you have passion for; then get good at it. Practice, practice and practice until you become amazing at it. Love playing drums? play every day! Love fixing stuffs? Fix stuff everyday! Love programming? Code everyday! Love writing? Write every fucking day! That’s how you become amazing at something. And once you’re done mastering a skill, you move on to the next thing. It’s important to dedicate your time to mastering valuable skills. Knowing how to play FIFA like you were born with a game pad on your hands won’t cut it. Stop Watching TV. Get rid of your TV if possible. Watching others go about their daily activities won’t make you smarter or richer. It would rob you of your time. Those who spend their life watching others usually end up miserable in life. You don’t want to be miserable do you? All the shows on Telemundo won’t make you a better person. Want to think more? Stop watching others on TV. I know lot’s of people will come for my head because of this. You can as well close your browser and stop reading. But dude, , you can’t be serious with your life and spend a good chunk of your time watching TV. You’re in your 20’s! If anybody would appear on TV (for good), it should be you. Yoruba movies will make you more stupid. Same thing applies to American movies, oh, and Mount Zion movies won’t make you a saint. You can do these at your leisure time (if you have any), it shouldn’t be a rule of thumb. You’re in your 20’s and you pride yourself in having gazillions of movies on your hard drive, while you should be bursting your ass in something more valuable… #WehDonSir. Understand Money and It’s Effect People don’t get rich by living a broke life. Let me break that down a little bit. The broke mentality is over compensation for every little thing. Broke people spend more than the rich. They buy expensive stuffs, drive expensive cars, and flash cash everywhere. Doing stuffs like that; flash cash and talk about money on social media; for the attention. It indicates that you’re broke and suffering from little man syndrome. Ask yourself why? In most cases it’s because your understanding of money or wealth sucks. …Compound effect… There was a time I drank a bottle of coke everyday. It became a habit, it was very difficult to let a day pass without drinking a bottle of coke. Aside from ruining my back (I learned the hard way), it affected my spending habit too. It’s called Compound Effect. Buying a bottle of coke everyday cost #100. That’s #700 per week, #36,400 per year. Compound effect! The moral is to not form a habit that would make you look richer than you are. These habits would eat into your purse. Dress Like You’re The Real Deal Don’t hide under the mask of religion and dress like a 90 years old granny. You’re in the early phase of your life! Dress in a way that would attract opportunities. Being good looking brings respect on several levels. You don’t have to buy expensive designers before you look really good (Remember the broke ass syndrome?). Good shirts, Tees and Sneakers will do for guys, and for the ladies; do your thing. Look decent, not beaten, not frustrated. Stop looking like the weight of the entire world hangs on your shoulder. If you dress like shit at this stage of your life, what would you look like when you cross the 30-something bar? Save the shitty look for after-birth will ya? Learn To Sell Talkers are good sales man. When I say learn to sell, I am incorporating three concept into a single line. Learning to sell means; learning to talk, and good talkers awesome listener as well. It’s that simple. Buying and selling is always going on around us. If you’re not selling; you’re buying. At the end of the day, buyers don’t make money, only sellers do. Learn to sell yourself, learn to sell your service, learn to sell physical products as well. In wrapping it up, there is no clear cut to getting it right in your 20’s. The key is to get involved in as many things as possible. By the time you’re done with the second decade of your life, you would have enough experience. Enough to narrow down on what you want to do with the next decade. From all indications, if you don't have a solid plan for your life, even if you studied in the best of all countries, you might end up being a no-person. But to conclude that studying abroad doesn't worth it based on your own experience isn't a good one. This is my 6th year in the University (add pre-degree and it becomes 7), I have never failed a course, and I am well above average as far as grades is concerned. Guess what? My school has been on strike for over 6months, and there is nothing I can do about it. That's a perfect example of a rotten system. You don't label a system rotten because you didn't get citizenship or a job after bagging your degree. They promised to educate you and that they've done succesfully. The rest is on you. Learn to be grateful for what you have, thousands would kill for it. |
MightyFortress:Thank you. I was going to rephrase the topic, but your idea is very helpful. |
About #100k so far. I am yet to carry out data analysis, submit soft copies not to talk of correction and hard copies. Topic: Antioxidant effects of methanolic extracts of Terminalia Cattappa leave on Wistar rat with lead acetate induced oxidative stress. I love the topic, and I might follow it up in my MSc... That's if I see a reason to pursue an advanced degree. |
There is nothing wrong is wanting to be alone all by yourself. |
supereagle:I am not a clickbank affiliate. |
olaolaking:Sure. Hopefully it would be what I can answer without having to type epistle. |
olaolaking:Approach differs, most people would build a squeeze page or landing page, then direct ppc traffic to it, and promote a click bank offer or something similar. My own approach is different. I build authority site. If the site is about skin care, then it would be mainly about skin topics. Remember that skin is broad. We have skin disease, acne, skin toning, etc... But the site would focus on one of the sub topic, I would write epic content on the sub topic, take for instance I choose acne sub topic, I would probably write about best acne cream for face. The topic is based on proper keyword research, and the article are always very long, am talking of 5k words or more, because I will review about five product in that single article. Once I have enough content for the site, I move on to link building... That's the paraphrase.... The idea is to build a site with lots of value, that can be monetized with anything, affiliate, or adsense.. Take note that I am into Amazon affiliate, and it's very different from click bank. On Amazon, you earn commission for any product purchase 24hours after visitor lands on Amazon through your site. Unlike click bank that would only promote one product. Oops, I have hijacked Ops thread. Sorry. OK bye |
olaolaking:Nothing much really. 1. KEYWORD RESEARCH. 2. BUILD SITE 3. WRITE EPIC CONTENT 4. SEO 5. GIVE IT TIME 6. SUCCESS = START EARNING FAILURE = LEARN WHY AND TRY AGAIN. 7. CONSISTENCY WOULD RESULT INTO SUCCESS. |
kaze4blues:Yep. |
kentochi:You don't really need a mentor. Google is the best thing that happened to this generation. Try what you learn, fail and try again until it works. Looking for mentor would make you give up when you fail at start (because you would definitely fail couple of times before you get it right). But if mentor does it for you, then you can find various affiliate courses online. |
I make millions monthly... No time to be begging for job after graduation. My stupid school has been on strike for 6months now, thunder fire them . Affiliate marketing is real, and oh! It's all passive income. I dont work all day, maybe few hours in a month to check my stats and see if there is anything i should fix

You Simply Can’t Succeed Overnight! It’s very much possible to make a sustainable living from online business even when you reside in Nigeria. Gone are the days when it was extremely difficult to access the internet. Now it’s the easiest thing. There are cheap data everywhere, and the internet is considerably faster than it was several years ago. You’ve got no excuse, if this is something you really want to do. However, there are several misconception about building online businesses in Nigeria. Many people assume it’s a click and earn kind of thing. Once you get started, then you should start earning money right away. This explains why a larger percentage of people end up quitting after few weeks of trial. “…Well, it’s not for me…” or you hear them say “… It’s a scam, it doesn’t work…” The truth remains that, it works. People make living by building businesses online. And it can work for you as well. All you need is the proper information and the willingness to keep trying until you get it right. The truth here is that, building a business online is quite similar to building a business online. You won’t quit an offline business because it fails to make reasonable profit after a month or two, will you? If the answer is yes, why then would you quit online business that early? Breaking The Ice For any online business you intend to get into, it’s important to give it time. Yes! It’s as simple as that. Be persistent and give it time. Don’t just quit along the way. Normally, when I start a new venture, I’d give it my best for a year and see where it’s headed. A year is enough to know what the prospects are. They problem with most people is that, they spend just two months with full dedication, then abandon the project for another year, they pick up pace for another two months, then abandon it again…. Seriously? It doesn’t work like that. Just be dedicated for the first year, and by the end of the first calendar year, you would be sure as regards whether you should keep at it or move on to the nest thing. What You Need: Really, there are not magic formula to success. What works for me would probably not work for you. You can only try the available options until something works. Yes. That’s how online business works. However, here are the basic things you need to know about building online business in Nigeria. What Type Of Business? … There are tons of online businesses. The list is numerous. I am not even talking of MMM here (that’s not a business). I am talking of serious profitable online business. I only know a few, and would try to list some of them here. The problem with most people is that, they get it mixed up. They don’t even know what they’re doing, they just jump into something, and after few month if it does not work out, then jump to something else. I call this the shiny object syndrome. I think we’ve all been there before. Knowing the type of business you want to invest your time in would go a long way in keeping you focused until you break the ice. Find a brief list of popular online businesses below. Blogging Freelance Writing Web Development/Design SEO services Importation Business Affiliate Marketing App Development Ebook Publishing Drop Shipping Graphic Design Advertising Agency Editing Those are the few that comes to head right now. Once you make a decision on what type of business you’d like to pursue, the next thing is to educate yourself about the entire process involved in such business. Thankfully, there are several resources on Google, you simply can’t exhaust the information on Google. Read as much as you can. Follow people in the same industry as you. Ask questions and get started once you acquire the necessary information. Don’t be shy, you can always learn on the job. You’re allowed to make mistakes as well. We all do. Persistence Is The Key. One of my favorite quote goes thus: There are years when nothing happens, and there are days when years happens. It’s self explanatory. Keep at it. Don’t stop until you reach that level of success you desire. I’d be fooling you to tell you it’s very easy to make money online. No, it’s not. It takes great amount of effort. But one of the most important virtue that you need is persistence. Once you’re able to stick to the plan, you would get there, sooner than later. Source |

dude99:Am into affiliate marketing. |
In my 100l and 200l days, it was "ask and you shall receive" (Those were the good days of President Jonathan). In 300l it became 5k per month. As at that time, I began to despise the idea of asking my parents for 5k allowance. So I won't ask until they send. And if they don't, I would suffer it. No wahala. After my IT, (currently in 500l), I have been living like a graduate, I don't call my parents for anything, I paid my rents, and footing the bill for my final year project. I must say that it feels really good to have this sense of independence. I haven't been home since I left in February, and my parents would often call to ask why I am not asking for money... During those conversation, I would be tempted to say "Mummy, I currently earn more than you on monthly basis" (she works in Osun and when they're lucky, they get paid half of their salary, which is about 75k or there about)... And with God blessings, I currently make about 60k per month, passively. Moral: Develop a sense of independence as soon as you can, and stop asking your parents for allowance. They can only do so much in this bad economy. |
eleko1:Am done responding to your myopic contribution. Enjoy yourself aged ignorant individual. |
eleko1:Be constructive in your response to a serious discussion. At least that's what adults do. Who cares about when you graduated? Swallow your self glorification and call a space a spade. A student might miss a test for various reasons. He or she be sick, she might be away from school for personal reasons. It's normal for student who miss a test to go and lodge a complain with the lecturer in charge of the course so far he or she has a justifiable reason as to his or her absence. Again, your response reeks of ignorance, and it made me wonder what you learnt in the University if you think approaching a lecturer to explain why you missed his test is inappropriate. And No, am not a kid. I am an adult. |
