I don't know about other provinces but in Manitoba, international students are not accepted into their nursing program because they already have a 3 years waitlist of citizens and permanent residents.

you cant study nursing directly in canada as an international student. Your best bet is to go for science course then cross over later. I.e BIOLOGY. Hope this helps. If u need more info let me know.

Also, doing some quick Google searches should help you narrow down schools. In addition, contact @Gu2015, he/she is a Nairalander starting a Mechanical Engineering PhD in Canada this fall; I found his/her Nairaland post on this thread by entering the search phrase " "mechanical engineering" phd canada nairaland" (without the the outermost inverted commas) into Google. You can find similar info through google as well. Best.

Many of us (that are aren't as active) even benefit from your wealth of knowledge. And that was why I could teach my agent and later did everything myself without her.

God bless Nairalanders that are willing to share the little they know, have or think. I would love to be part of such company now.

Sure, it could be faster. For me, if i had a supervisor before beginning the application, it should have taken about a month assuming one meets all their academic requirements.

It is against the rules. I'm not saying they can't take it but what if CBSA decides to bother them, they have to be prepared to have it all thrown in the trash or even get fined depending on how much contraband food that they have in the luggage. Not everyone's luggage is checked thoroughly by the customs, it's a random selection. Some are lucky to escape with it, some aren't. Even people here said all their Gala was thrown in the trash. Some people even get to smuggle milk in. The rules are the rules, you and your PR friend may not be so lucky next time. Or if you need more proof, you can declare your gala on your next trip and watch them throw it in the trash .
