What a terrifying moment for the bereaveds. look at me, tears running down my eyes as I read through this terrific article especially where she narrated how the little girl was slaughtered like an animal. It shall never be well with those marauders. this is the extreme of wickedness.

This is not the first time I read about herdsmen attack in that part of the country or will they keep folding their hands and waite till the whole community is wiped out? are there no youths in the community? It is obvious enough that the government is not helping matters, the government has failed the people they where voted to protect so why can't the youths mobilize themselves, strategize and take charge of the situation.

My condolences to the bereaveds, may God grant them the fortitude to overcome.

A friend of mind (lady) was bragging through out yesterday evening making all sorts of unverifiable claims. One of it was; how that iphone is nothing to her, that she wouldn't want to use iphone again even if she is gifted one...bla..bla..bla. I tried asking if she would maintain her stands if what is gifted her is iphone14 pro max....omor, that was how I got the shock of my life.

I was not even done asking the question, when her lamba started coming from all directions(Left Right and center) I was shock when she mentioned that she got her first iphone14 in year 2015!...like seriously 😳...

When was iphone14 released?...(asking myself in silence 🤐) to make matters worse, she even claimed that she got the said iphone when she was in her level 600 in the university... that was when I carried my shoe and run for my life...

This is happening due to your past experiences of failure and disappointments. Just like someone rightly said; your mind is basically forming a defensive mechanism... with the use of those negative thaughts, your mind is able to subconsciously prepare you to absorb or chest down any shock resulting from failure or disappointment...kind of, trying to run away from any potential future disappointment or failure. It's a natural human survival instinct mostly to save the brain from worries or from situations that are capable of causing depression.

Similarly, having these same fears and worries when you are about to make out with a lady (performance anxiety) is the major cause of psychological erectile dysfunction. It is one challenge you've got to defeat with utmost alacrity that's if you really want to succeed in life...

The bible emphatically stressed that you guide your mind with all diligence because out of it(your mind)are the issues of life.

Reaching home, I gave her water to take her bathe and went out to chill a little basically so she could feel comfortable with her freshening-up process... while I was out, I placed my gee on call to informed him that his baby girl was around and also to find out if he's already on his way cause I was equally contemplating visiting a friend of mine within the city where I could probably spend the night since it was obvious enough that my room wouldn't be accommodating me for the night being....gee wasn't picking up so I had to rush back home to check on my visitor and probably informed her that I will be leaving the house since it was getting late already.

I got home and saw that she was done taking her bathe and has successfully changed into a very sexy lingerie that exposes a succulent pair of watermelon that could heal a man of depression....I pretended not to have seen anything and went on to inform her that I was leaving, I also assured her that my friend(her supposed boyfriend) will find his way to the house when he arrives...I wasn't even done talking when I got a call from my friend (her supposed boyfriend) informing me that he is not coming again that I should allow the lady spend the night in my place and leave to her state early morning tomorrow...that was when it dawn on me that there's gonna be a little challenge to night.

The mother had left Kenya, where she's from, and had gone to work in Saudi Arabia, where the alleged incident took place. Francis Atwoli, Kenya's Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General, has now called on President William Ruto’s government to ban employment agencies overseeing migration of Kenyan workers to Saudi Arabia. Atwoli said on Saturday, October 8, that he received a disturbing video from a woman in Saudia Arabia, who alleged that her employer forced her to breastfeed their dogs.

"She left her husband and children in Kenya two months after giving birth," Atwoli told NTV as he displayed a video of the woman breastfeeding. "When they realised she can breastfeed, the employer gave her a job of breastfeeding puppies." The COTU boss called for intergovernmental diplomacy to address the plight of Kenyans in Saudi Arabia and other gulf countries. Atwoli said: "This is indirect slavery, I want to appeal to our government to go the way President Kibaki’s government under Phylis Kandie did.


"She banned all employment agencies in Kenya. "Let this issue be a government-to-government. "Let Kenya negotiate with Saudi Arabia on terms and conditions of service… so that our people can do decent jobs and not a job of breastfeeding dogs." Atwoli said the inhumane actions being witnessed in Saudi Arabia are denying Kenyans dignity and respect. He added: "It denies us our own citizenship as Kenyans who are from a free and independent country. My question to the FG and whoever supports the FG in this persecution of Lecturers is, who is going to complete the backlog of work that has stockpiled since February 14?

The nature of work done by academic lecturers puts them in a position where there is a lot of work to be done in every semester from the class room to the lab to the office dealing with scripts and documents etc. In most cases, Universities are under staffed, hence the workload. If the lecturers don't do their work for 6 months, that job will be there waiting for them because unlike other kinds of jobs where you can just resume and start from current activities, the lecturers have to start from where they stopped. The students cannot for example move to the next level if they have not been taught, if they don't take their exam and have their scripts marked.

So if the FG can contract the backlog of work stockpiled since February 14 till date to someone else, then their no work no pay policy will be upheld. In fact the FG should be helping the lecturers to resolve this backlog of work that have resulted due to the striking process, this would show their commitment to education. But you see, the FG doesn't give a fvck whether the work is done or not. not paying the lecturers the six months salary would mean that they can resume and abandon the work on the table. The fact that the FG know this and has decided not to do anything about it is what should disturb the students and Nigeria as a whole.

Hello sir, with all due respect what backlog are you talking about? If I may ask were schools running while on strike to have accumulated backlogs?

Firstly, the government was not owing them salaries before they went on strike...it is work before pay and not work after pay. They where being paid right uptill when they embarked on strike it is only rational for payment to resume when they start from where they suspended duties.

Secondly sir, why should a student forfeit a CGPA he earnestly worked for and also paid school fees for?...are you declaring the previous one null and void with a proposition of conducting a fresh semester or session at your own perils and expenses?...I don't understand...how does that even make sense to you?

Thirdly, the time lost by students can never be regain sir... Some students were supposed to have graduated ...some were supposed to have gone to serve...some have already forfeited a six months rent as a result of this strike not to talk of the emotional trauma...are u saying that assu will have to turn back the hand of time and correct all the damages above? If they are paid, who is going to pay the students for their own losses?...it is a collateral damage... it should be evenly shared sir.

My dear let's call a spade a spade... In as much as this government is terrible, ASUU is also greedy, with little or no sense of patriotism they keep talking about revitalization, how that almost all university's infrastructures have decayed but when ever NUC comes for accreditation they are still the one who goes about lobbying them(NUC) into accreditating departments with the so called dilapidated infrastructures.

Note that NUC is actually a committee organized by the government to appraise tertiary institutions within the country and ensure there are up to standard.... members of ASUU end up frustrating this beautiful idea of the government just to achieve their greedy motives....then make a U-turn and attack the government accusing them of negligence...

Pls don't fall for the senseless and illogical rants by the president of ASUU.

That said, if you are owing, you are a tenant at will and are actually entitled to 7 days only from the day your rent expired to be ejected oo, a court can enforce this.

It is all a financial cycle. Imagine your Landlord has an obligation he needs to settle by 17th January and the beneficiary has a situation to sort out on the 18th. It goes like that starting from employer's failure to pay. I doubt your rent is up to ₦1m and if he is desperate, understand

I would like to be there cuz the rent is less compared to other houses around plus, that I have an advantage of playing just for a year given that I'm not a new tenant... landlords around there ask for 2yrs rent or 1yr 6month for new tenant... aside these I would have loved to leave the the house.
