LegendHero: This make sense. So far Dangote will supply Nigeria locally to reflect the reduced price. This will save lot of $$ we use in importing crude too.
As an independent importer, if you can import fule at a value less than what Dangote sells it, then that is great for you. That will not be possible Even the ones they import, govt still subsidize it to make us buy it at the present market rate |

Asonaijaaso: Local refiner is yet to produce 1 drop of Fuel. He is the best quality on day 1.
Lets be realistic, would you have an operation from a surgeon who graduated school yesterday ? Dangote has to be tested first, let him produce let us see. Who told u so bro. I can agree with u on PMS which will commence very soon, but u see Diesel and Jet A1. These fuels have been on steady sales for the past few months via ship and truck loading |
Politics › Re: Comply With NNPCL Regulations, Arewa Youth Urges Dangote Refinery by iyke648(m): 7:57am On Jul 29, 2024 |
Asonaijaaso: “Our findings show that he wants NMDPRA not to license anyone else to bring in products. They said no! He blackmails them and is trying to incite Nigerians against NMDPRA, claiming they are giving licenses to marketers who bring in substandard products into the country.
“We are calling on the National Assembly to make public the laboratory results from his own refinery because information we are getting from different sources indicates that the products are substandard."
I have repeatedly stated, and will continue to emphasize, that Aliko Dangote is a serial monopolist. His profits serve more of his own interests, than those of Nigerians.
He planned to complete his refinery during President Buhari’s tenure, anticipating unrestricted crude allocations and funding from CBN Governor Emefiele. Now that he is required to adhere to regulations, he is reacting poorly.
It is unreasonable for Dangote to demand control of the market without having produced a single drop of petrol. In more regulated environments, a new refinery would be required to operate for at least 12 months before being eligible to bid for government supply contracts. Additionally, the quality of its products would undergo rigorous laboratory testing.
Yet, Dangote, with no prior experience in the oil and gas sector, expects to be handed control of the NNPC overnight. This expectation is both unrealistic and unfair. Why bring in imported/adulterated product when you have a local refiner with good quality product |

mrvitalis: Marketers can't buy from dangote because there is no how dangote can sale for ₦1100
And there is no how marketers can buy ₦1100 when price is ₦600 to ₦800
So only NNPC can buy and sale at a loss ( AKA subsidy of ₦700)
Do you need any more proof we pay subsidy? Yet nobody want to say this with their full chest |

Faiththatworks: My brother a trip to the Refinery will make you understand it's not a lie. Trucks are loading Diesel and Aviation fuel every minute in the Refinery. It's a place I visit Every week so I know what I'm saying. I don't believe anyone is still importing Diesel or Aviation fuel into the Nigeria because Dangote is single handedly fixing the price of the commodity,no importer will operate under this condition and make a profit. Yes I want to sell land but I believe every Nigerian should have an investment in that Axis if they can afford it. I hope you join the train and ignore the doubting Thomases, Brother big things are happening in Ibeju-lekki. God bless Nigeria Those trucks you see loading petroleum products in that axis are majorly from Pinnacle oil Company. They operate tank farms there and they are major distributors of Petroleum product. Take it from me bro. Diesel and other petroleum products are still being imported into the country |

The man has completely taken over the Nigerian Market for Diesel and Aviation Fuel. Right now not a single drop of Diesel or Aviation fuel is being imported into Nigeria. I dunno but Dangote obviously made critical technical and financial errors in that refinery's conception! I hope he gets it right eventually! you should be aware of the technological advances the world has attained in structural Engineering. If bridges can be constructed through water bodies how much more a refinery in a reclaimed land. Mind you, vibrational forces emanating from these complex machineries must have been factored out while reinforcing the reclaimed land with piles |

GodsOwn2004: Kudos to you Gazuz.
In your evaluation , since Gas, is in kg, The 1Litre of petrol also needs to be converted to kg.
1L of petrol = 0.79kg
This cost comparison/ evaluation needs to be done with 1kg of petrol = about 1.27litres of petrol. The price of petrol will now change from 500 naira to #635 which is equivalent to 1kg of gas(#650) |
Autos › Re: I Converted My Generator to LPG And Tested The Fuel Consumption/Cost by iyke648(m): 7:39pm On Jun 12, 2023 |

I factored that consideration into my calculations by draining fuel from the carburettor supply line not by emptying the tank complete.
Approximately 1L of petrol was used in this experiment. Oga Gazzuzz my own question be how u take start the gen. Will u first turn the gas knob and then draw ur gen or u start ur gen before turning the gas knob? |
