My Observation.

The man knew this was CNN, so he was cautious in bringing his usual fake statistics.

Also, he sounds jittery. One could easily see how he was just throwing words around without making sense.

For example, when he was asked about his plans to solve Nigeria's issues and make the country a producing country instead of a consuming one, he keeps saying, "we'll ensure farmers go to farms... enhance security architecture by employing more personal... have leaders with character, commitment, compassion..."

When he was asked how to penetrate the Northern part of Nigeria, he stuttered again, saying things like "North has bad roads, the price of bread in North is not different from South... The leaders we need should not be based on ethnicity, religion, or my turn..."

In short, jungle don dey mature, and people are beginning to see Obi as a "newspapers-stand analyst."

Even the anchor was at some point wondering what exactly Obi was saying, and she has to adjust her look, after appearing like she was lost in thought.

My sister is 26 years and a graduate of Statistics from a federal university in the South East. There is an issue, more like a blessing. She had been writing aptitude tests since and failing but something remarkable is happening this year. She has been passing all the graduate trainee tests and interviews this year. She is at the final stage of Cerdar group, Stanbic, Meristem and Oilserv graduate trainee program. Just waiting for offer letters. She got an offer into Wema bank graduate trainee but rejected it because of 2 years bond. She is currently in Gt Bank graduate training school.


The issue is that KPMG just invited her for their test which is physical on Saturday. The Gt bank program runs from Monday-Saturday. I have been trying so hard to convince her to take take permission from the tutors at Gtb and go to write the KPMG test. She refused that she does not like Accounting as she read Statistics but she was open to it before this year and had been writing tests of different audit firms. I prefer KPMG to Stanbic and GT and want her to give it a shot.

She is 26 and this is her last chance at any graduate trainee program. Please what do you guys think? She is confused too.

Which among the above listed is the better choice for a graduate of statistics and is the KPMG test worth taking the risk. Please I need opinions from Nairalanders as I told her to allow me take my time to think about it.

I'd always loved her even before she was born. And when she came she was my third offspring.
Cute at birth and she grew up with great love and compassion at everything she did.
As a girl child I'd always expected her "firsts" especially growing to from child to preteen and adolescence...
About three weeks ago she came to me and told me she's having cramps at her lower abdomen...I was slightly dazed cos at 12 I least expected she'll begin to have these experiences. But I guess we don't know what to expect!
I was both excited and unsure...I prayed she was prepared for the new phase of life...
Today, just got back from work and I was informed she's menstruating!!
Again mixed feelings!
Well...I just said to her...now you're truly growing up!

I totally understand your angle which I also share. But do you think the way they threatened the girl not to disclose this situation to her parents is the way the school threatened the boys as well? For a video already gone viral in the school? A major bias knowing that the boys will be in major trouble if the parents of the girl gets to find out is what the school is trying to hard to avoid. Simply because they know the boys are Majorly culpable. Call it what you think.

We don't have a full gist on that We can't for sure say that the boys were not threatened the way the girl was. We are all generalising based on the info we saw on the Internet. The school on their own part were trying to protect their reputation by sweeping the whole stuff under the floor. If u recall, they had a similar incident last year on child molestation by one of their staff

You said that the girl was left alone in the hands of the boys. A spoilt girl child going into a hotel room meant for boys. Why will the school authority allow such nonsense in the first place. What happened to supervision? The school deserved to be shut down and all those minors involved be adequately dealt with.

Please change the topic of this thread. The viral video circulating on twitter cannot be termed as rape or statutory rape. The two kids involved in the act were minor. The girl is 11 and the boy is 13. There wasn't any form of cohesion among them. All the kids in that very room are below 14. This is a clear case of juvenile delinquency, poor parenting and neglegence by the school authority

Just close your eyes and imagine how much a plot of land will worth here in the future and the economic benefits that will be associated with having properties in the ibeju-lekki axis.

Remind of a time last year when I woke up in the morning at just about the time of posting this comment to go have my bath ( i live alone at that time ) I slip and fell hard thereby knocking down the toilet water tank and breaking part of the toilet seat.

I regain consciousness to see everything shattered around me while laying on the floor. I couldn't remember the moment I fell or how long I lost consciousness.
So till this day when I think about it I believe God brought me back from the dead.

I had this same experience during my service year. I was whistling away while bathing, enjoying myself in the bathtub. As soon as I stepped out, I slipped backward and knacked my head on the bathtub slab. My brother. It was a horrible experience. I remained unconscious for like 20mins. All I could see was stars. I Thank God for life bro. I learnt a very vital lesson that day that our lives are like mango seeds. It can slip away from our hands when we're enjoying it the most.
