And guess what, buhari can't do anything about all this because he lacks the capacity to influence anything positively. The next 4 years will be even worse because of the next level of mayhem buhari will unleash on nigerians.

cyrilamx:
It is not about where the former presidents hail from that matters to the Igbos rather their unalloyed romance with PDP. if not why did they refused to vote for Ojukwu under APGA or Moghalu under YPP ? Let PDP present a goat or pig as presidential candidate and APC present NOI or even their new found hero Atiku or Saraki, majority of Igbos will still queue behind the PDP's goat/pig. Didn't Atiku vie for the presidency under Action Congress? was he voted for by the Igbos? So plz shelve the talk "we voted for YarAdua, OBJ and Gej" It all about PDP and nothing more....
that's where you are missing the point. It has never been about pdp but about buhari. Apart from 1999 when obj ran against falae, the other elections were about igbos rejecting the bigot buhari. We voted pdp in 2003 because buhari was the oppsition candidate, same in 2007,2011, 2015 and 2019. For instance, if buhari was pdp's presidential candidate in the just concluded 2019 election and peter obi was his vp, pdp will lose woefully in the se. It's not about pdp but about buhari.
Politics › Re: Why Do Most Igbos Passionately Dislike Buhari? by izombie(m): 6:01am On Apr 09, 2019
Igbos do not hate buhari. We knew what this man did in 1983 and we know that he has nothing to offer nigerians now and recent events have justified our reservations. Buhari cannot give what he doesn't have.

Politics › Re: The South Should Be Wise Now or NEVER!!! by izombie(m): 11:46am On Apr 08, 2019
Op this thing you wrote makes sense but i have to keep it in the closet for now as we have decided that the north will continue to rule nigeria until nigeria disintegrates. No yoruba will smell the presidency in 2023. Yorubas said they don't need igbo votes to win abi. We shall see how the yoruba will produce the president with only 5 SW states. If you people think the north will abandon an hausa fulani man to vote for a yoruba then you people must be delusional.
Culture › Re: As A Nigerian-american, I Would Like Insight On Which Language To Learn by izombie(m): 11:18am On Apr 08, 2019
Op, "achoro m", i want and "achoro m", i don't want. Have the same spelling but the only difference is the pronunciation.
Coming back to your post, as an igbo guy who lives outside nigeria i totally understand what you mean. I have visited nigeria 3 times in the past one year and i get frustrated when i see alot of children and teenagers that can't speak igbo properly. For example, my sister and her husband also live in the same country with me and whenever they speak to their kids they use igbo language instead of english, now their three kids speak and understand igbo very well. Now, my elder brother and one of my elder sisters that live in nigeria use english to communicate with their own kids and the kids can't even make a sentence in igbo. It's very frustrating. I have met alot of igbo girls in universities that can't speak because their parents raised them with english.
My advice to you is, learn igbo first and then pidgin english. You are igbo.

There's a possibility someone can have 5 pairs of the same slippers but dis mumu observer with slowpoke brain would tin is one pair.

50cent has like 50 pairs of red sneakers in his closet. What will this slowpoke says if 50cent comes out with red sneakers in every post.
even if she has one pair of the slippers how is that a problem? She can wear it as many times as possible. That girl is just stupid and should mind her own business.

I live outside nigeria and i was very happy to hear from a friend that we could now get NTA on cable. Got home and tried and got the channel and i became so pissed off at the picture before me. It was like something from the 80s. The sound was so poor that i immediately changed the channel. Even during this past elections, i tried to hear results on NTA but everything was so mediocre that i became so angry. Nonsense channel.

shut up... How many has your constituency senator built for your people?

The clinic in Aso Rock that gulp over N20 billion, does it have springs and pain reliever? E.g ordinary panadol.

Abeg face front jare
actually my senator built a clinic in our constituency and any time i visit nigeria i only hear good things about that clinic. There treatments are very good. And even though we already have a clinic i am sure there are better things to put this money into than a townhall.
And FYI, what is my concern with aso rock clinic? Were you people not the ones that voted this government?
Question for you, of what use is this townhall to the community?

I am still looking around nigeria to see where igbos were given free lands for the markets we have all over nigeria. These people are always looking for handouts. Igbos go to lands and buy lands for their business but when you come to igbo land you want us to give you free land. Won't work. Just bring out the money and nnewi community will sell the land to you, period.

So the country should have NO army?
What do you think the purpose of Army is in this world? And why does every country have an army?
-
Have you ever thought what will happen when the neighboring counties decide to cross your border, overtake your land and property and drive you out with nothing?
If America does not have army, what is stopping everybody in Mexico from migrating there and taking over their land?

Abi is it "Abeg Na!?" that you will use to ward off invaders to your territory?

Nigerian army are doing a job of making this nation remain THIS nation and nobody even thanks them for it. You will not have any economy or any naira of money to spend if you have no country.
dude i never said i don't why there is an army. I asked why people still join nigerian army. I mean look at this one now that has been abandoned by the same army. He is on his own now. Have you seen the nigerian army baracks? They are like shitholes. They get paid next to nothing(that's when they get paid BTW). The treatment meted out to these guys is appalling, to say the least.

Buhari does not understand all these grammar. A man that can't give meaningful answers to the simplest of questions cannot offer nigeria or anybody anything except backwardness. Zombies are officially the most stupid people on earth.

I still wonder why any right thinking person will join the Nigeria army. You get paid shiiiit money, the baracks are an eyesore, and when you are killed there is no appreciation. Na wao.

Romance › Re: Dilemma With My Girlfriend by izombie(m): 1:17pm On Apr 02, 2019
ItzBIM:
So, my current girlfriend is the girl anyone could ever wish for. She’s loyal, faithful and honest. If she says she’s somewhere best believe she’s there. The Amount of test / set up I have given her, she passed everything with flying colours. She’s really one of a kind.

However, externally she’s not so great. Her English is not the best, struggles with past tense, doesn’t have the natural biggest assets (breast and bumbum) also the boys sliding into her dm are not really up to that standard.

These things are discouraging because it might be problematic in the long run.

So I’m confused should I leave her and find a more classy and Behind girl that I am used to dating or I will regret it.

Thanks in advance for ur advice.
for your last sentence........you are welcome

Oga, nothing is wrong with your wife, I have similar character and my wife has known me for it infact it caused rift and aguement with my mother in law, m wife and I because she felt I'm not proud of my wife or my marriage or I'm already married. My wife and I would just laugh at her mum. Infact yesterday was my wife's birthday, I did not say a word on Facebook while all her friends said things about her including her ex boyfriend.

I don't really see any big deal in her actions, she is just a private person who doesn't want monitoring spirit to descend on her family.
there is a difference bro, i am also not particularly a social media person but this here is a case of the wife taking the husband for granted. Like i said in my earlier post, the OP should just act the same way the wife acts.

Op i saw this your post late so i am typing this on page 19. Let me start by saying that in every relationship, the person that cares less about the relationship is in charge. In this case, your wife. Now listen and listen good. The more you try to suck up to her the more you irritate her. This is how to treat this kind of people, stop trying to impress her. Stop buying her gifts. Just buy the things you need at home for everyone. Remain a good husband to her but stop complaining about her social media but instead stop posting pictures of you and her online, just like she's doing. Check her profile relationship status, if it doesn't say married, don't complain about it, just change yours to single. Even if hers says "in a relationship", put yours to single.
Stop buying her any birthday present. Just say happy birthday to her and that should be all. Pay her with her own coin. Act aloof. I tell you, she'll start appreciating you more.

I also know alot about south africa because i spend 60% of every year there. Yeah south africa is better than and well developed than a lot of europian countries but the black south africans are slowly but surely destroying things there. A lot of neighbourhoods with mostly blacks are being rundown steadily.

Politics › Re: Nigeria To Introduce New Taxes To Increase Revenue – Minister by izombie(m): 8:06am On Apr 01, 2019
grandstar:
What's important is that they are pro- business policies.

I would suggest a reduction in corporate taxes to 15% but enforce collection.

They should also ensure collection of VAT. Present only 25% of potential VAT revenue is collected. With corporates taxes, it's far worse.

Simply ensuring collection of the above 2 taxes can increase government revenue by 1% of GDP.. For Nigeria, it's the tax base stupid.
dude nobody will complain about taxes if the money being collected is actually used to better the country. It's like putting a toll gate where the road is bad. These people are just looking for more money to continue servicing their flamboyant life styles. Nigerians are the most coward set of people ever. Government after government keep imposing levies on nigeria without actually doing anything. All we do is just to fume and rant for a few days and then start paying the levies. If not, tell me why nigerians keep paying electricity bills but we don't have that electricity.
