Yesterday, the sad news of the sudden death of Psquare’s father, Mazi Moses Okoye was made known .

Although there was no official statement yesterday to buttress the news, Encomium magazine has however revealed how the septugenarian died. The death of Mazi Moses Okoye, the father of super star musicians, P Square, was said to have been so sudden that those who saw him a few hours before he slumped in the Omole, Ikeja, Lagos home of his sons are still surprised.

It was revealed that just before Mazi Okoye’s tragic death, he was wearing only singlet and boxers, watching cable television (Africa Magic) with some visitors until about 10 pm yesterday (Monday, November 24, 2014) when he disengaged to his bedroom where he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but he unfortunately gave up before doctors attended to him.


However, there are speculations that the Jos, Plateau state-based deceased, who left Jos for Lagos two weeks ago for a knee surgery, might have died due to his frequent respiratory (breathing) issues. He was said to have had an appointment with his doctor yesterday (Tuesday, November 25, 2014) over his recent knee surgery.

Mazi Moses Okoye is said to have had a booming ‘pure water’ and bakery business in Jos. His wife, Josephine Okoye, died only two years ago after battling with cancer.Mazi Moses Okoye is survived by 7 children, Jude, Paul, Peter, Mary, Henry,Chris and Tony Okoye.

Meanwhile, Lola Omotayo-Okoye took to her Instagram page yesterday to share a touching tribute to her father-in law saying:

Our dearest “Gradpa Jos” it was just a week ago we were all hanging out with you, your grandchildren were running around you and playing with you. Cameron, Andre and Aliona all wondering why you had a cast on your leg and Cameron was playing with your crutches….Your warm smile and your energy kept us going. We were all happy that you were strong. You made us all laugh. This was the last thing we ever imaged. We are still in shock but we cannot question God as He knows best. May your gentle soul Rest in perfect peace our “grandpa Jos”. We miss you already. #RIP #Thebestfather-in-law!

All of us have heard this legend. But it is actually just a myth. When a woman has her first intercourse the hymen is usually worn away. So it is not creating discomfort. But girls are told that they should feel pain. So they are anxious and their tensity gives way to pain.

4. “Bloody sheets” are not caused by tearing the membrane as well

The majority of young partners are not experienced. So, first times are more likely to be less sensual and more painful because of stress, mistakes and lack of skills. Rough or bad-lubricated sex can cause sensitive lady parts to bleed. But it is not all about the destruction of the hymen tissue.

5. Hymen does not cover the whole lady’s parts

If it was designed by nature in a such way, girls who still have it at teen age would not be able to have periods and to menstruate.
6. Sometimes it can be imperforate

About one in 200 women has a hymen which is not worn away normally. Her openings are too small for tampons. Erections cannot penetrate the vagina of such lady smoothly. In those cases some simple surgery is required.
